  • I can not receive or send emails - get code error 0x800CCC19

All of a sudden for the last three days I can't receive or send emails in windows... I know there are some here - I can access it directly from the Charter.  Help!

Is the error 0x800ccc19? There is no error in 0x000ccc19. Well, there is no in Google. Its a time-out error

If it is the 1st mistake, Norton Internet security is installed? Or Mcafee?

If this is the case, disable it. Or disable e-mail analysis. It is making the time out emails

Or uninstall it, and then use the removal tool, so she takes off the rest of its files

  • When I send an e-mail to MS Outlook Express sends it leaves the Outbox and guard return the same email over and over again (unless I'm deleting it).

In other words, the e-mail message remains in the Outbox and is NOT in the SENT ITEMS folder.

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  • Cannot send emails from marroitt Hotels with outlook

Cannot send emails from marroitt Hotels with outlook, but can receive e-mail?

It depends on your ISP Internet and email.  If you are not connected to their system, you cannot send emails (to prevent others from spamming).  Many vendors have a port special number you can use and that, coupled with authentication, you can send them somewhere else until you are connected through their system.  Then, contact your Internet provider or visit their Web site, which should have the correct settings to use to send to other locations.  During this time, see if you can use webmail via the browser on your access provider's website to send messages.

  • I can't delete the emails of one of my Outlook Express email accounts.

    Outlook Express for email

Hi all. I am running Microsoft Windows XP on my computer. I use Outlook Express for e-mail. Currently, I'm unable to delete the emails of one of my Outlook Express email accounts. Everyone knows about this problem? All proposed solutions?

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.

With OE closed, find the Deleted Items.dbx and Sent Items.dbx files and delete them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

Compact all folders as described below.

To avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.
