I worry about the Windows 7 updates and emailing photos
For some reason any October 1, 2010 all about Windows updates failed to install updates in my computer. The computer turns on and a message will appear to fail on Windows updates. Then, the computer stops and restarts. Most of the time it restarts only once but when I started having this problem it will re-start 2 or 3 times before everything was working properly. I can't email photos and I get a message saying that I need a program installed so I can e-mail pictures. I would like to know what can be done to solve these problems
You receive errors related to updates?
- Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programs and then click Windows Update.
- In the left pane, click view update history.
- Find an update for Windows that has failed to install, and then double-click the update to view more information.
Updates that have failed to install will display failed under status, next to the name of update. - In the Windows Update dialog box, next to the details of the error, review the error code for the update has failed.
Follow the links in the Windows Update dialog box under more information or help and Support to resolve the problem, then try to reinstall updates by using Windows Update in Control Panel or by mail with the error code and maybe someone may be able to help others.

HP Pavilion p7-1014itm: information about the Windows 10 update
Goodmorning, I have a PC desktop completo HP Pavilion p7-1014itm, n. model: QD446EA, n. series: [Personal information deleted], and I would like to know if, when I will update the OS (W7 64-bit) to window 10, I am having some problems with drivers.
However I do not have the drivers for the current OS (W7 64-bit), because it is not a web page dedicated to my desktop PC. When I 'detect my product' on the 'Support' page, that he finds the product, but it does not give me the drivers. It gives for me:
"We have to find the drivers for your product. Pilots may be developing, so please, check back at a later date or visit the product home page. »
Run all Windows 7 updates. If you are able to do so, you will see an icon get 10 Windows in the systray of Windows 7. Right-click on it and click on check my PC. The upgrade of Microsoft Windows 10 diagnostic utility will let you know if there will be problems.
The majority of Windows 7 and Windows 8 and 8.1 desktop and laptop PCs will be able to run Windows 10 without problem. Windows 10 has been designed to be able to use the drivers provided by the previous operating system.
I have a system more old socket 775 desktop PC that I am running Windows Technical Preview 10 on without any problem.

I am owner of Dreamweaver 8 comes with Macromedia Studio 8. I'm getting worried about the age of the machine which is on. Is there a way to upgrade a laptop Windows 7 which does not involve a monthly rent and allows to work on the source code of my Web site completely offline?
Thank you. Last time I looked into things with the description "Cloud", it seemed to me that you either need to be logged to the software work (possibly validate the rental date?) and/or your content of current things was 'in the cloud '.
While I don't like the rental model, if I can make it work offline that may be an option.
Fortunately, the machine still works, so I have little time to decide. It is likely that my existing sites in Dreamweaver 8 will be compatible up with current versions?

I run windows vista on my pc, and every time that I turn it on, it just sits on the 3/3 update and will not progress. Even when I force my PC to power off and restart it, it continues to be. The first time he tried this update, I have dropped about 3 hours and returned to the configuration to update: stage 3 of 3-0% screen. Since it always happens. My pc is unusable because of this. What can I do?
.. .my computer came pre-installed with vista, so I do not have a disk
Not that I recommend a repair install, but the manufacturer was required to provide a way to reinstall Windows. If the computer came with a set of disks, there is a hidden partition restore (not to be confused with the restoration of the system) you would use to reinstall Vista.
Assuming that Vista SP2 is not installed, I recommend you open a free support incident, NIC. See the link in my previous answer. ~ Robear Dyer (PA Bear) ~ MS MVP (that is to say, mail, security, Windows & Update Services) since 2002 ~ WARNING: MS MVPs represent or work for Microsoft

I want to install Windows 7 Professional. I ran the Windows Upgrade Advisor, and he told me that I can upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate. Why not professional? Or is this correct?
You can still install Windows 7 Pro, but it requires a custom installation. This will remove all your programs (you will need to reinstall them), but you can save your files and settings to external storage before doing so.
If you want to make a place in the upgrade you will need Home Premium or Ultimate.
How to install Windows 7:
If you have Vista:
Update: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7
Custom installation: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7-custom
What Upgrade Options are available for Windows 7?
If you are running Windows Vista , in some cases you can proceed directly to Windows 7, and in other cases, you must perform a custom installation. The following table shows what editions of Windows Vista can be upgraded to Windows 7.Windows Vista Home Basic
Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium
Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows Vista Business
Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
Windows 7 Ultimate

HP Split x 2: not enough space for the Windows 10 update
I have a Split of HP x 2 (64 GB SSD, drive hard 500 GB) running Windows 10. I recently received notification of an update of Windows 10 version 1511, 10586. Trying to install the update, I get an error message saying that Windows needs more space on C:, specifically 8.13 additional GB.
Settings Windows reports 58.9 gb of 59.2 GB already used on C: which is 47.2 GB ' system and reserved.
The update program says that I can use another drive for the update and I tried the built in D: (more than 200 GB free) and an external drive (900 GB free), but the update will fail with the same message outside a slight reduction in the amount required on C: (7.17 GB) of free space.
I had already cleaned useless all the files using the Windows disk clean and have less than 6 GB in applications and data, in order to get rid of everything that would still runs.
All GB 47.2 OS is really necessary? Any large pieces I can get rid of, or is the only way an SSD upgrade?
Only in the last day or two, MS has eliminated a new update of Win10 who, claim, addresses the problems of people said that they do not have enough disk space for the Nov 10 update and when they provide you with an external hard drive, it will not use it.
I suggest that you are looking for updates and see if it is applied and then retry the update 10 Nov.
Good luck

I try to install the windows easy transfer and I get the error.
I try to install the windows easy transfer and I get the error, "the version of windows you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install. I download and install the 32 and 64-bit version for XP. I also downloaded and tried both 32 and 64-bit version for windows 7.
On which version of Windows 7 you are trying to install Easy Transfer? Easy transfer seems to be automatically installed on Windows 7. You run Easy Transfer on Windows 7 to 'prepare' the copy, you need to be running on the 'old' PC.
