  Save the file to a CD/DVD or USB key.

  Once you have the service pack downloaded file, you can use your current Vista CD to install a fresh copy of Windows Vista on your C: drive. Once you have installed Vista you can install service pack 2 directly from the CD/DVD or USB you originally stored it on. All you then need to do is to run the Windows updates to update your system completely.

  on the primary drive.

  Velocity Micro
  According to Velocity Micro, who ship their systems directly and not is not available from third-party retailers, the company can currently ship new systems with Windows 7 installed.   (And Norton) McAfee applications are known to not uninstall (or upgraded) themselves.

  1. download the McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop tool:http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe
