I have a new computer running Windows 7 Pro.  I would like to use the font: Copperplate Gothic Bold.  When I try in install, I get a message that it is already installed.  It does not appear in the list of fonts (icons or list) is not available for use in Word 2013, AutoCad or any other program.  Re-install it does nothing.  Restart the computer after installation does nothing.  I have configured folder option to show hidden files.  As usual, Microsoft makes everything more difficult should it be!

How can I get the display font in the fonts/Control Panel?

First, find the version non-fat in your fonts folder.

Double-click it to access variations as "BOLD" / light.
