Hiya AndrewG,

Intel video driver has a history of problems, especially with the game. The driver is compatible with the Intel chipsets as the 82945G, 82915G/82910GL Express Chipset family. I recommend to visit the Intel website and download the latest drivers for your video display adapter device and check the version of the chipset. You can download the utility Intel chipset version ID here:
http://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_D...
Then when you know the version, you can download the driver here:
http://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/product _...
This will fix the issue which is known by Intel. Then you and about 500 others have the same problem.

Before installing the new driver, make you the following:

(1) you start the system in safe MODE to uninstall the current driver files. It is the method ONLY to make sure that all the old files left the system and Windows get is more.

(2) once in safe MODE, right click on MY COMPUTER and click MANAGE from the menu drop down. The COMPUTER MANAGEMENT window will open, click MANAGER of DEVICES and search for your Intel display adapter. Double-click to open the properties of the adapter, and then click the DRIVER tab along the top. There is an UNINSTALL button at the bottom of the windows driver. Click on it and are suitable for all messages CORRECTLY UNINSTALL the driver that is causing the problem. The system will ask you to reboot and once back in Windows that display will look not good because it uses the default VGA driver.

(3) install the driver, you have to double click on the file and agree with all the messages until it does. It will take another reboot and once back in Windows, the problem should be solved.

(4) remove the cable from the monitor to the computer and make sure that there is no missing pins or twisted in the plug.

If you follow these instructions, things should go much better for the game, questions by e-mail.

Good luck!!

"It is not a true crash, in the sense that the blue screen was launched only because the combination of material and video driver video was to be insensitive and not because of any exception processing synchronous".

Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.

If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.

Try to remove a side panel and a fan of big sector directly to the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.

I download cpu - z and gpu - z (both free) and keep an eye on the video time

  • Tecra M7: Vista display driver (NVidia NVS110)

    Hello!

I was wondering if someone else encounter the following issues, which I believe are linked to the display driver.

    1. black screen after the release of the mode standby (no hibernation). The solution I found is to close and reopen the lid (assuming that you have not any operation assigned to closing the lid). But it's really "fun", this back when you are in tablet mode.

    2. the other - that I just found-seems more serious. I can't get the external VGA connector to work. Even after setting up so I can see an office empty on the other monitor, just move any window on the desktop results in a mess on this screen (as synchronization signal is lost or something). And it is with a single monitor, while my other one does not recognize the signal at all.

Has ANYONE else try to use the external screen on Tecra M7 on Windows Vista (32-bit)?

The latest Vista driver available for this laptop is 98.13 version, while the latest ForceWare is 100,65 (stable since February). I found some info that the first problem I described is a known bug in the nvidia drivers, and it has BEEN fixed in this version. Unfortunently this driver package from NVidia does not support the NVS110M. When can we expect Toshiba to make the point?

I had the same problem with the external display. I solved it by downloading the latest version of the BIOS (v3.2) on Toshiba Canada website. It was a bit of a risk, as the model numbers are different, but I can say that it fixes this problem and I can now work with external monitors very well.

  • Satellite 1905-s303, WinXP: giant screen, need to update the display driver?

Hey guys, thanks for your help in advance!

I am a Satellite 1905-S303 and Windows XP

Here's what s past with my computer:

When I turn it on there a little longer than normal to start. And I hear a sound of tck - tck on the back of my computer that I have don t usually hear.

When it does not start: everything on the screen is HUGE, and I get a window saying: ATI Advanced Desktop Utilities could not initialize, because no ATI driver is installed OR ATI driver does not work properly

Again, everything on my screen is huge (with the exception of the desktop background): the mouse, icons, windows, text, start menu, web browser, youtube videos, all. All the color and resolution stitching large and other than the fact that everything is great, the seams of the computer to function very well.

I ran Spybot S & D, my antivirus software and Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Everything turns out to be clean.

Okay, so, I tried to update my Device Manager display driver, and in the middle of installing Mobility M6, it is said: the file ati2mtag.sys on installation of ATI Technologies Inc. (VIDEO) DISC is needed. Type the path where the file is located.
I n t have this I can not be completed.

In any case, that s what I tried to do to solve this problem, but couldn't t. So I found this
Windows XP Display Driver for ATI M-6 graphics card and its compatible with my model computer. Located here:
    http://virtualtech.Toshiba.com/ToshibaSupportSite/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=2857 67xml & sliceId = & dialogid = 67910098 & stateId = 1% 200% 206 7908255
I think that what I have to do is to install the above. Can anyone advice please?
Is it safe to me, just download this driver and install it? Or is so dumb that it might mess up my computer? He says his self-installation.

Thanks a lot guys for all the help in advance. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

    Hello!

Search for this file on your HARD drive, then you have the path of this file, but if t can be found, reinstall the driver that you founded.
To do this, you must not start in safe mode. Remove the old driver files in Control Panel > add or remove programs, restart and install the driver.

On the sound of tck - tck, I can say that this results perhaps a faulty HARD drive. By controlling the Drive Fitness Test:

  • My Equium A60 to display driver

Hey guys, I'm having a small problem.

I got my Equium hung wireless and after a few seconds, the display enabled a mode really based pixelated, which would return to normal, if I rebooted... until I went back online. I tried all of the updates for ATI, but not joy.

I decided (please don't tell me) to uninstall ATI as it seemed it was the video controller who did not like the wireless. Now, all is well with the wireless. no problem, but now of course I can't read DVDs, I really don't want to!

I then tried to reinstall ATI from the recovery disk, but when I rebooted the computer to complete the installation, simply of restarts and does not start unless I choose the option to go to a previous configuration. I tried to install Windows and the Toshiba site, but again, no joy.

.. then I kind of made a mess of things

Could you give me help in reinstalling my display driver and how prevents conflict with the wireless?

Thank you very much. I hope you had a good new year

    Mark

    Hallo Mark

Maybe you don't read this, but in my opinion, you should preinstall your device with the original recovery media. I noticed that a lot of different things can have some negative influence on some strange questions like yours. It is not easy to find an appropriate solution.

In my opinion, all that you have done is just, but if there is no successful backup your data and reinstall the unit. On this way OS will be clean preinstalled and I am sure that everything will work again at 100%.

If the same issue occur after reinstalling of. Something wrong here.

    Good bye

  • 5K iMac display driver problem crashing end of 2015

I have a new end 2015 27 "5K iMac, CTO with the i7, Fusion of 3 TB drive and the M395X w / 4 GB of VRAM. I got the plug 8 GB of RAM but put 16 GB of RAM spec Apple Crucial in both. All are adapted. I have clean education installed windows 10 via bootcamp, I also used to divide the disc fusion in partitions of equal size. I had some problems initially with Bluetooth for the magic mouse and display and had to manually install the drivers for the two. In the case of Bluetooth several times. By a very large extent, it was worth the most I got with an installation of bootcamp since the first version as issued. I don't know if it's windows or apple it was a mess of God awful things installed partially or not at all.

In any case, I got things set to the point where the system seemed stable and decided to start running some games through steam. This is when I started to have a great many problems with the system. More specifically, when I play games on steam I frequently either crash to the desktop or system chokes and throws me back to the default windows display drivers. I say this because I can't see the error appearing frequently in the observer of events just before these accidents is "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered." Usually, I have two error messages in a line in the newspaper timed just before the accident happens so I am sure that the pilot does not successfully and two kicks me back to the default windows display driver and the locking system until I quit the game via the Task Manager or comes crashing down on the desk. According to the event viewer, I had 20 warning messages (event ID 4101) in the last nine days (yes I play a lot for a 50 year old man).

Seriously, what gives apple? I drop to $3K on a machine and I can't even enjoy a game that this card should be more capable of running at a decent resolution (Fallout 4) because the drivers suck. AMD released the bootcamp drivers on September 21 last year. They claim they have the latest drivers available (and their latest stable version for systems non-bootcamp is December 15 last year, after having released only 12 days ago the beta drivers) for bootcamp, but you guys are sitting on them because you certify drivers. So, yet again, what gives? Can we get the drivers, we need to use the systems we paid a premium for it please?

If you want to try non-Apple certified drivers, you can test with WHQL drivers, or try and BCA allows you to download the latest available package and check the version of the drivers available vs installed. AMD GPU are bad when they are in the Mac running Windows. This does not happen on OS X side.

There are number of threads about the drivers for the AMD GPU and a lot of experimentation within the CSA for Windows drivers.
