iBooks crashes as soon as it opens

I can't open iBooks on my iPad of ss of today.  Seems to work on my iPhone.  Have restarted the iPad, but it doesn't work.

Follow-up: Spent 21/2 hours with a partner where genius bar my iPad has been re-installed several times and iBooks opened correctly, but as soon as my files were downloaded backup, iBooks opens once more not.  Thus, the "conclusion" was that the backup files have been corrupted somehow.  I've been advised to go home & re - load my books of the original source to get rid of the files corrupt books or to make an appointment to bring my computer and see what are the components.  Not being not familiar with iTunes, I could not understand how to download original books, so resigned myself to only have access to my files from my phone.  I was contacted by iWork after posting here and pointed out that I already had too much time on the issue and most likely would not continue a resolution.

Well, now that I've updated my iOS to 9.3, iBooks works now and I come back with success my books & PDF to my iPad.  My guess is that the application itself was broken.

    If you can access the menu in OE, go to file | Identities and establish a new identity.  If you then open the identity, go to file | Import | Messages and import from the old identity.

    Even if you can't access the menu items and deleting folders.dbx has not fixed the problem, then you will need to rename the file inbox.dbx either move them to another directory.  OE should start without locking up, because it will create a new Inbox and there is nothing to read.  Then you can manually import the renamed inbox.dbx file as described here: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#imp1 , but DON'T try to import it into the box inbox.dbx but rather under another name.

  • First crashes as soon as I open a project. CS6 and CC both

    I have Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and CC. They both worked for about a month, in the trial version and now they have all two no. I can open the first and it opens fine. I can see my recent projects to open a. When I open the project I have between 2 and 60 seconds until it stop. If I go in managing cloud settings in the lower left corner of the first CC, first remains open. But only until I close the settings window, and then it closes. I get almost no error code. At the opening it is sometimes said that reading of mercury was used the last time and does not work today because of material or something of the sort. CS6 gives me an error Workspace.cpp - 209 sometimes. I am on Windows 7, 8 GB ram, Intel Core i3-2100 CPU @3.10 GHz 3.10 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 210 display adapter. Please help, I can't find anything on google.

    PS. I bought today first Pro CC.

    OK, so I finally called Adobe help line 800-833-6687 and talked to a guy there. He told me to rename the SLCache folder that is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe to oldSLCache. He also told me to rename the OOBE in C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Adobe file in oldOOBE. I was unable to do so because of an error "the file is opened. Then he told me to rename the file SLStore in C:\ProgramData\Adobe in oldSLStore. After this he said to test Adobe first CC and I did. It actually WORKED! Thanks for trying to help, and as you can see I tried a solution anywhere in the internet, the Earth and the Moon without result; and this is the solution for me for all of you who have this problem. The guys at adobe said it was due to a sort of recording corrupt files.

    Logout and login back to Adobe Creative cloud resets account information, which allow the application of the CC launch.

    This simply re - installs the CC app and update your Lightroom 6 to the latest version. Since you have already paid for Lightroom 6, there is no cost to you.

  • Satellite M100 - TFncKy crashing as soon as Windows connects

    Had this problem with only one of the user accounts on my M100, the other account is not the problem.

    As soon as I am connected to Windows message pop - up TFncKy has close unexpectedly (send error report, do not send the error report, etc.) and whenever one of the arrow keys or the multimedia keys is pressed the same way unexpected message appears, so it is quite common/frustrating and also makes all these keys uselss actually.

    I also tried to open the file in C:\Program Toshiba Toshiba Controls\TFncKy.exe directly, but it crashes as soon as his ' open.
    The computer is practically brand new with minimal additional programs installed that it may conflict with.

    Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any ideas would be very appreciated.

    Several users work on this laptop?

    I m not 100% sure, but maybe the user account has the right wrong and, therefore, the Toshiba FN keys will not work.
    Please check the right user and if it won't help I recommend reinstall the Hotkey utility. To do that you must be logged in as this user or administrator account.

    If the question is displayed if the application must be available for each account on this laptop please select Yes.

    Need to know a little more to help - what kind of error message you get when it crashes? Look in the Console application and select 'All Messages', and note what kind of new messages appear when you try to run iPhoto.

    Other programs have similar problems or just iPhoto?

    The problem started suddenly about 2 months ago, and search online for Windows for solutions as well as my Support Ticket with Skype were unproductive. As far as I know, my computer is up-to-date with all program updates and driver.

    How is it without a body is equipped to answer the Question of iBooks crashing and delete all files after the upgrade to 9.3?

    As soon as I upgraded, I lost everything in iBooks. I had near 100 VIP files now they are gone.

    I have the same problem on my two iPads Air, Air2. IBooks after iOS 9.3 upgrade freezes constantly. Even if I managed to open it, crashes. My meticulously organized more than 4K books are now in chaos, all the sorting is lost. Half of them are without lids, have no idea how much is lost.

    I tried to reload and re-sync, nothing works. It's the same thing with my iPad 2 couple years ago when Apple has released one of their iOS update. As soon as I remember, iBooks was not working for more than a year. At least go and leave a feedback, doubt it will help, but worth a look.

    I understand that after updating to iOS 10, you cannot open the Notes without the app crashing immediately. I know it's important to have all your apps working properly, so I'm happy to help you.

    First of all, connect to iCloud.com and make sure your notes are always present.

    If they are, we will proceed to the activation/deactivation of your Notes and turn it back on. To make this opening settings > iCloud. Here, turn off the Notes and questioned, you can remove them from your iPhone, because they are in iCloud. A time off, go ahead and turn it back on, and then test your Notes application.

    I just upgraded from my iPhone 5S for a further 6 s. improved to 9.1, and everything is looking good EXECPT that iBooks leaves everytime I open a book and even when I'm looking at my list of books and have not yet selected a...

    Tests I've done:

    -force quit all applications

    -iBookstore vs home made (iBooks author) books

    -WiFi off

    -data cell iBooks out

    -Phone off then on again

    -Phone restarted

    -Downloaded a new book

    -Go straight to the store once launched the app

    Normally, my next step would be to remove the app and redownload, but iBooks is now installed with the operating system, there is no x to delete the application.

    The main reason that I went to the largest phone was because of the way that lots of reading I was doing on children 5 years old, so it is an important for me!

    If I understand correctly, an application that is preinstalled on the OS crashes whenever you try to open it.
