• I can't uninstall two extensions. I tried the troubleshooting tips given in "Cannot uninstall an add-on" but that did not help. Maybe because I have 4.1 and it is for 3.5/3.6. I disabled the but I'd rather not have it on my computer.

  YOU really need first to establish that your monitor isn't the problem here, before starting troubleshooting upstream (your video card driver could be the next logical step).

  Awkward though it may be, you must first get your checked monitor.  If you don't have a friend or acquaintance who might be able to help, a local computer store would be a logical starting point.

  You could try to locate the individual uninstall each program feature. The names of these vary from one software to another manufacturer, but they are usually in the directory of the software program. If there is a specific application uninstall routine, it is often indicated by an UNINSTALL. LNK sortcut.
