iCloud account details not available

I installed my MBP to El Capitan 10.11.2.

Now when I go to system preferences and then to iCloud, I am unable to access my account details.

When I select the Contact, safety, devices or payment, I get the same message: "this account information is not available."

I tried restarting the computer... no change.

Any suggestions?

    I work in a corporate environment that is mainly based on Windows, but also have a handful of Macs and a Mac server. The question I have is that the MacBook display the prompt "network accounts are not available" when connecting. This message disappears when the VLAN from requiring authentication on our firewall device, MACs are to be excluded.

    I thought my our support company firewall that Macs are a kind of test at startup. If they do not have full access to internet NETWORK card wireless goes into a State of semi functioning. It is only when they have access to the internet it goes into a fully operational.

    It makes sense when the "network accounts are unavailable" message, I can't SSH in the Mac, but can't ping the IP addresses of our DC, ping any name FULL domain or ping any device outside the VIRTUAL LAN.     Our company firewall just remember exactly what service performs this function on the Mac. Anyone know what it's called?

    I have the ability to connect this external hard drive to an iMac which is used as a server, I just prefer not, but if it's the only option I want.

    That's right - the library needs (for iCLoud, use of the library and for the safe operation) to be on a local wired connection - may not be on a network connection

    On my iPhone 5s under 'settings', the iCloud account check step will not end.  Just, the wheel turns and turns, without end.  iTunes account works fine. Never seen this before?

    Try to hard reset your device (sleep/wake and Home button for 30 seconds)

  • iCloud sync for notes - two sets of notes on the same account

    Hi, I have something very unusual. In short, some time last year, it looks like notes on an account, which are synchronized in iCloud, split: now, the notes synced to iPhone/iOS or iCloud.com are the same, but they are different from the notes synced on two different Macs (MBA and MBP). Both Mac show the same set of notes - which, again, is different from the whole shown in iCloud and iOS.

    I tried disabling sync on Macs, disabling Notes containers and disabling sync on the iPhone. In cases that made a difference, tried separately and simultaneously. In each case, when the notes are synchronized to iCloud, they continue on this divergent synchronization.

    New changes made on a mac show on another mac, but not iCloud.com or iPhone.

    Changes made on the issuance of iCloud.com/iPhone on the other, but not the MacBooks.

    100% here is the same iCloud account and notes in the Notes application are notes belonging to this iCloud account (indeed, no other account cannot synchronize the notes, besides I have cleared the cache / deleted to force containers). And yet once, it is reproduced on the 2 devices.

    WHAT IOS and OS are you using? If your IOS is the version 9 and Notes iCloud you upgraded, then the computers must be using 10.11 and Notes iCloud upgraded.

    I currently have the two-step verification turned on on my apple ID, even if Apple announced yesterday in a two-step authentication is available for accounts iCloud, my iCloud security settings do not show this as an option. Is it because I currently have two-step verification on?

    This is probably the cause. I improved on my iOS devices 10.11.4 yesterday and iOS 9.3 and none showed 2 authentication factors are available.     HI - we are a company with about 350 users of iPhone and iPad.  I put this in the iCloud in the community section, but I've seen other users have the same problem in this section, so I thought I would add here.

    In order to stop users add their own e-mail accounts on the iPhone that lock us the device through restrictions - deactivation of the accounts section.  It stops and then access the iTunes settings.  In the test of iOS 10.0.1, we have one of the devices (a 16 GB 5 s, who had been a backup at 7:20 that morning), improved 9.3.2 that went well with no obvious problems, then, after a few days to leave the handset to the function, we have lifted the restriction and the backup on iCloud to find any backup not occurred since the upgrade and a message 'some files were not available during the last. backup"in its place.

    If all our staff upgrade their phones (we gave says not yet) then the backups look like they stop.  It is easy to fix, as a manual backup, will complete the process, but you have to remove the restriction to do this.

    We tested on iPhone 5, 5 s, air iPad iOS 8 to 9.3.5 and all have this problem.

    I have exactly the same problem, 16 GB iPhone 5s as well. I plan on raising at my Genius Bar appointment today.

    On a note, possibly related. I did a reset and reinstalling Mac OS x on an old Mac I want to sell. But when I connect using my ID all my favorites are still in safari. I know that these bookmarks are not on the computer and are simply saved in my apple ID. But these bookmarks stored in iCloud? If so where are they in iCloud if I still have the full storage space 5 GB available?
