ICloud automatically and periodically backup my documents, library iTunes and iPhoto library in the cloud? If so, how? Do I need to do it manually, or is this automatic, like Mozy?
You mention iPhoto, which means that you may have about the backup of a Mac. iCloud does not back up your Mac, you must use Time Machine (or other backup software) and an external hard drive.

You can simply drag in iCloud reader, but I pass and move documents in their files app instead. It will probably take a while to download all documents.
It is not a way to sync without some third party software that synchronizes folders, or learn how to use rsync in the Terminal.
Instead of synchronization, simply use the iCloud drive in the 'Documents' folder after you move the files.

Yes, according to iCloud Drive FAQ - Apple Support:
You cannot use iCloud Drive on your devices until you update your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to the latest version of iOSand your Mac to the latest version of Mac OS X. If you already upgraded and you need to use a device that does not support iCloud by car, you can still work on your documents locally, but they will not be aware of the documents on your devices up to date, or on iCloud.com.
In addition, the system requirements for iCloud - Apple Support should be useful.

I can't drag and drop files into the "cloud".
When I click the icon "Download files", I can do but I need to download one at a time (I can't select multiple files using shift or control). There are THOUSANDS of files, I want to spend. I want to set up automatic figure and table numbering that includes a reference to the current section number. (Figure 2-1 = the first figure in article 2; Table 3-2 = the second table in Section 3). I understand how to do this with styles if I had to work with a collection of documents with defined chapters. How can I do this in a single document with a number of defined in section?
Is the only way to define the styles in the list for my items?
I'm afraid you're right. You can include the numbering of the chapters in style with the numbered list, but you cannot include section prefixes. I think that you will have to use the method you suggested.

I haven't experienced it, but likely restore a previous version of a file would restore files that have been deleted from this folder since the creation of the earlier version.
Under Windows 7, restore points are created automatically each week (on XP, it was once / day) and just before significant system events, such as the installation of a program or device driver. You can also create a manually restore point. In practice, you will find a lot more than one restore points / week. For example, my Win 7 Pro box displays the restore points following last week:

Automatic restore point 3/10It is not clear to me how to change the frequency of the automatic system restore points in Windows 7. If seen sites which proposes to change the frequency of a scheduled task in the Task Scheduler - but the settings in my task scheduler to launch SR once / day and as seen above, which does NOT result in a daily automatic Restore Point. I saw references to editing a registry value, but it was not definite either.
