• El Capitan 10.11.2 updated and inaccessible photo library

  I've seen questions similar to this one, but none quite match. Photos worked El Capitan. But after the update to El Capitan 10.11.2, I can't pictures to locate the library system, although it is still visible in my pictures folder. (I have several bookstores, how I manage with PowerPhotos). I use an iMac late 2009.

  When I opened the Photos, I get this message:

  I can't choose ', open ' because I can't do this active window or get the buttons to act; I have to select "Exit" in the window "unexpected error".

  I tried to press the Option key when opening the pictures; same result.

  Also, I've used my photo library system for my desktop and screen saver. After update, the office always displays photos of the library. In the system, under the screen saver preferences, the 'Source' menu does not include Photos. I tried to select "Choose a folder", then selecting different libraries of Photos, but it does not work. In desktop preferences, there is a similar lack of power to choose to use a library of Photos, but he continued to use the one I had chosen before the update.

  As I said, I still see libraries in [user name] / photos. This includes the system library I was using before the update (and which is apparently still used for office). They all have a normal appearance in Finder, including update, size, showing as a number of GB, etc.. In PowerPhotos, however, the library system shows as having zero points. Other libraries appear as normal in PowerPhotos, but PowerPhotos does not seem to have a function allowing you to switch which deals with pictures of libraries such as the library system. Trying to open a library other that the library system in Photos, either by PowerPhotos or from the Finder, generates the same error messages above. (The same with trying to open the library system from the Finder).

  I don't know what version of El Capitan I was running before the upgrade. I always installed updates to OS x I use as soon as the alert informs you that one was available.

  Start in Safe Mode, Mac OS x: Safe Mode bootand try from there.  If you succeed, reboot normally and try again.

  In other words, can I install the track CS5 version and assume that nothing will not happen to my current licensed CS4 version? And they'll both be usable? It's 'os x' snow leopard.

  Hi, I'm starting on Dreamweaver and AngularJS for the moment and so I'll have a go at using them together. He's not going very well, you can more or less run but Design view, there are red lines around things AngularJS and same property that asks you if you want to remove it...

  I note that it seems to be very good support for JQuery, Visual design support.

  I also note that, in the talks on the AngularJS, they almost never mention an IDE.

  Is there a plan to add support for AngularJS? Or I'm fighting just a lost cause?

• LaserJet 4 L and Vista do not play well together

  I have my LaserJet 4 L hooked up to a Vista desktop via a parallel to USB adapter, using a USB port.  It works very well for a while.  Then, it will not work.  When it fails, the printer info box shows the file in mode 'impression', but it never reaches the printer. And when I try to cancel printing, it can take five minutes to remove.  If I remove and reinstall the printer, it works for awhile - and then the same thing happens. Sometimes rebooting makes the printer works for a while, but not always.  I use Vista 4 L driver. (HP is not posting a 4L Vista driver on their site - they just will tell you to use the one in Vista.) I manually installed the printer and also leave Vista recognize and install it. I get the same results (bad) anyway.

  I begin to suspect the parallel to USB adapter.  (Believe it or not, its documentation is partly in Chinese, and I bought in the USA).  At this point, I could buy another - or I guess I could buy a card for my computer's parallel port.

  (I know this is an old printer, but it worked flawlessly for 15 years, and I don't like junk food it.)

  Any suggestions to solve this?

  I don't got no answer on that.  But I managed to solve this problem.  So, just in case, someone else has this problem:

  It was indeed my parallel to USB adapter.  I bought a new parallel cable USB (a cables unlimited, Micro Center brand). The package called for it is Vista compatible and that it supported a long list of old printers HP, Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Panasonic.  It works perfectly. First of all, I just connected the cable to the computer. Vista recognized and loaded a driver.  Then I plugged the other end into the printer and Vista has recognized the printer and loaded the driver for this.

  Be aware that most of the parallel to USB adapters don't pretend to be Vista compatible - and probably are not.

• PS4 and Cintiq don't play well together

  This problem is related to the Cintiq 21 UX & Photoshop CS4 ONLY!

  I have a Setup dual monitor: Cintiq 21 & NEC 19 LCD Miltisync 90GX2 Opticlear. Both monitors are driven by ATI Radeon HD2600XT separate cards with 512 MB RAM video. The system CPU is a chip of AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual core 6000 +. I charge what I believe to be the latest drivers from the website.

  Start on the side of the Cintiq PS4; load AN image; picture of Get with 6 bunk rectangles and rectangles is divided diagonally into half of the URHC to LLHC. Lower half is good image; superior hald is a color United, crudely pixelated or gibberish. Drag the image a bit and as long as it is moved it is picture perfect; stop dragging and he returns to the image of the rectangles of 6. Drag on the NEC monitor and the image is strong and clear when dragging but goes transparent as soon as mouse.

  Start the PS4 on NEC side and everything is as advertised. Just drag the image to the Cintiq, and he is always good. Now slide PS4 sideways Cintiq, and everything is always good. Open another image on the side of the Cintiq and the problem repeats.

  This problem is perfectly reproducible, does not happen with any other software and makes it practically unusable PS4. PS3 works as advertised and has always.  I've done 4 install CS4 to see if that was the problem, including a record meticulous cleaning between installs. Situation is constant through installs it. Curiously, the bridge does not have the problem.  I send to Wacom as well.  I gave 2 jpg what look like images.

  The OpenGL makes CS4 a different animal.  You can try to disable and see if the establishment works this way.  If so, confrim it's a driver problem.

  Make sure you run v. 11.0.1 CS4 and you have the latest video card drivers.

• Zbook 17 G3: M2 and Sata don't play well together

  Hello

  Have a Zbook 17 G3 with a drive as boot drive m2. After adding a second SATA drive may not start automatically. It will start only if I select the disk in the F9 boot menu.

  It is the first in the boot order and no secure startup is enabled.

  Any ideas?

• 5.5 ESXi and ZFS do not play well together?

  A couple of weeks, I've improved some HP DL380G6 of ESXi ESXi 5.1 to 5.5. One of those contains a Solaris 10 VM with a small volume of ZFS with about 120 GB of data and there are regular backups of that provided by using 'zfs send '. With ESXi 5.1 'zfs send' would complete in about an hour. With ESXi 5.5, it is not finished.

  Try to get a 'zfs send' manually in the command results up to a certain point and then stop. Him 'zfs send' stopped at 8 GB, 20 GB, 40 GB, 60 GB on different series. Whenever it starts to run in misfortune, messages such as these show upward in vmkernel.log:

  When you look at the performance of the system of ESXi, everything seems reasonable until the moment where performance disappears. On Solaris, the system has more than 2 GB of free RAM and makes a constant rate of e/s until this happens and throughput IO falls to zero.

  The solution to this has nothing to do with the disks, it was networking.

  To solve the problem, I installed vmware tools in the Solaris 10 host, changed the type of e1000g to vmxnet3 NETWORK card and changed the IP configuration on Solaris 10 using the hostname.vmxnet3* instead of files hostname.e1000g* files.

  So, it would seem that there is some corner performance e1000g behavior cases that appear to be inconsistent between the driver in ESXi 5.5 and Solaris 10 that were not already there.

• LR 32-bit and 64-bit catalogs play well together?

  I plan to upgrade my desktop computer for Vista 64 and LR 64, while my laptop will remain with XP 32 and 32 LR. I have all my catalogs on portable players so I can trade office and long laptop synchronization procedures without having to go through (and hold).   The underlying database is the same, as long as the LR version is the same. If the key is to make sure that you run x.x LR on the 32-bit computer and LR x.x on the 64-bit computer. • My iCloud storage said I have only 1.3 GB of available, but my backups phone says only that it uses 1.6 GB and my photo library using 1.2 GB and my mail read 176 MB iCloud. Why my available storage is a little more than 2 GB?

• ICloud and obsolete Photos.library

  I had lost the data of three days because of a problem with the update (10.11.6) and damaged the last time machine backup. If I had recovered from the oldest. Now I want to synchronize photos with iCloud where are the most recent. But when I opened iPhotos app it starts immediately to download the entire library stored on my mac to iCloud. Why? These photos are already on iCloud and there's more recent photos. It should not just download these photos which are in lack of mac? And does not remove this download new photos iCloud?

  Photos will upload your library still frequently. Every time you have to compare the current local library for iCloud. It will download all the photos in your library, compare photos in iCloud, resolve the conflicts.  Once all potos miising upload, it will start ing to upload photos that are found only in iCloud.

  If you restore your library from a backup, move to another disk or repair library, or if the crash Photos, download again the pictures and you can't avoid it.  Try to avoid the reasons for the upload.

  I'm not really sure what's going on, and I don't want to invest time to understand.

  I want to only use LightRoom to manage the photos and the Photos on my MacBook app gets in the way.

  The Photos app seems to have found something very old (perhaps from iPhoto five years ago) I want to keep for future exploration.

  I'm going to muck about with the Photos to see if I can export all in a place for more security.

  I'll go through all the photos of very old who migrated on my iPhone and get them away from here as long as I know that I have elsewhere (elsewhere are actually two).

  No - they are totally separate - connection or relationship of any kind is not
