Iconia A1-830 has a Wifi connection problem when 3-5 meters

I bought Asher Iconia A1-830 at BestBuy and after 10 days, I discovered the Wifi connection problem. If you stay near router (1-3 meters) the WiFi signal is good (not excellent). If I go into another room - Wifi connection is poor or disabled. I changed it to another (same model). The second model is perfect only 1.5 months and now she has the same problem with wifi connection. Can someone help me? Maybe the problem in my router, but why it worked 1.5 months?

Yesterday, I received my return of repair Acer Iconia. They wrote the reason of the problem: reconnected hold of WiFi to the motherboard. It now works like new!

I have a problem with my laptop - whenever I have it plug in to recharge after 10 minutes my Wifi connection goes down, it can detect my wifi network but cannot connect. However when my laptop not charging it remains connected until the battery goes down. I can not think of all the solutions and can't find answers on the internet. I am sure that this isn't my wifi network that is the problem as I have said, it connects and remains connected to each time when no charging current.

  • WiFi connectivity weird when I plug in the USB Flash drive?

I found this WiFi connection problem a few days ago, when I plugged a USB Flash drive in "USB port right side' of my MacBook Pro.

Every time when USB , WiFi won't work - the connection is lost and can not connect to any hotspot even turn the WiFi market.

I found more weird, ONLY this brand and model key USB could be the abnormal Mac WiFi.

This problem will not happen to another USB port even I put the Flash drive in the left side, USB port, weird isn't?

Conclusion, this flash drive cannot be used with USB port on the RIGHT side, another USB port works fine. If WiFi don't work.

All other USB devices I've owned are working very well on the USB ports on the right or left side.

Could Apple support or any helps me to understand why this happen?

PS. I had the Apple's Diagnostics and received a message "no problem found".

PS #2. Right - same USB port side and next to the HDMI port on MacBook Pro 13 "model 2015" (snack for someone who confuse average left or right)

  • WiFi connectivity problems

I have a 5th generation iPod touch which I use exclusively when I'm working.  I go to the gym has free WiFi and I have no problem connecting to this and using applications. In the last 4-6 weeks, however, I was able to access applications like Pandora or Sirius XM, but I had another email on the mail app.  I am frustrated that I cannot use most of the apps on the iPod touch and do not know what would be the solution.  I did a hard reset and restored the iPod touch on my computer without result.  I am able to access the apps on my WiFi at home.  I'm curious to know if anyone has useful solutions.

You can use these applications when it is connected to other networks?

  • iPad 9.7 Pro WiFi connection problems - 5 GHz

My brand new iPad 9.7 Pro is having major issues remaining connected to my home WiFi 5 GHz channels. The connection drops approximately every 30 seconds and I have to manually add the network in. Also, when he reconnection does not always have the password, and it takes several tries before it finally accepts it.

Curiously, the iPad is strong when it is connected to the 2.4 GHz channel and has yet to give up this connection. All my other devices (two iPhone 6 and old iPad) have no problem to stay connected to the 5 GHz channel so I know it is not a problem with the router settings. But just to be safe, I put all the router settings to those listed here: recommended for the WiFi routers and access - points Apple supported

That has not fixed the problem.

Then I went to the Apple store to see if they could help me and they ended up exchanging for another iPad. The same exact issues exist with the replacement. I even made sure to not restore from a backup and configure the replacement as a NEW iPad iPad. I then tried to connect to WiFi with the pre-installed operating system and always had the same questions. I then updated the iPad the latest OS 9.3.1 and it always shows the same questions.

I am at a loss for what to do next. I plan to return the iPad 9.7 Pro for the second time in two days. It was not ready for release.

General suggestions for Wi - Fi problems, maybe one of them will help you...

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (4) turn off the QoS service on the router if available.

    (5) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (check manufacturer support Web site). Check that your router is certified Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) to restore the device (ask for more details if you wish).

  • XOOM McDonalds WiFi connection problems

I could not connect to the WiFi at McDonalds because you can't see the final screen where you OK connection. When you go through the process, you click on 'Connect' and then you go to another screen you OK but it does not show on the XOOM. What you get is a pop-up message from the browser and not McD that says you must press the Ok button, problem is I can't understand how to display that. Just OK'ing the message does not work.

If you call technical support and ask them to manually connect, it works fine. Depending on the type of tech support the Xoom comes as an Android device, and he managed to connect manually. It seemed that it was a management problem of the popup with the browser.

  • Deskjet wifi connection problems

I have a Deskjet 3050 printer all-in-one j610 series. Laptop is a Mac, OS Maverick. Installed printing and software Mac software. Router Philips. My adsl connection is down a couple of days and the ISP guy made me change a number of settings on the router (type of connection between PPPoA and PPPoE, password etc.). The internet connection is running now, but since I was not able to connect my printer to the wireless network. The USB connection works fine.

I have browsed this forum and tried a number of solution, but not worked.

    The problem is:

Maverick doesn't have a complete software for the printer, so the solutions for the use of the configuration of the printer software are not applicable.

If I press the button on the printer control panel wifi I do not receive a list of available wifi networks. The only options I get on the printer control panel are: toggle the WSP, Predifined woman. Woman is turned on and if I print a report, he says that wifi is enabled but not connected. If I press WSP, it gives me the opportunity to use the WSP button on the router (which is not my router), or code PIN WSP (which I do not know where to enter it... no solution found on the internet). If I press Predifined, nothing happens.

One of the solutions that I proposed was to select the device to print (from the list of wifi devices) on the laptop, then open Safari and press the Hello tag and enter the printer configuration page, as I did. The wifi connection is established as sson of bus that I leave this page and select the wireless again, the conecction of wifi is lost and the blue light flashes again.

    Any help?

    Thak you

    Hello

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have recently had need to change setting of your router, it launched the printer on the network. Generally, in order to reconnect the printer to the network, the software is required. Your Mac with no HP software available, you will need to return to the printer configuration page you mentioned by connecting the mac to the printer and by opening the page in Safari.

This is the page you are referencing?

If so, click the network tab. From there, select the Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the steps to connect to the network.

Let me know if this helped.

  • Dell XPS Ultrabook 12 has network using WIFI connection problem after upgrade to Windows 10

I have a Dell laptop XPS Ultrabook 12 that worked fine on Windows 8.1. When Microsoft prompted me to sign up for upgrade to Windows 10, I hesitated, but finally, I signed up for it. In recent months, I have been asked several times upgraded to Windows 10 but I just ignored and delay the update as much as possible, because I need to work with the laptop and I can't afford to have problems after the upgrade.  To my horror, Microsoft forced an install of Windows 10 this morning without allowing me to delay and just after the upgrade, I can't connect to my existing network. I have therefore no access to the internet and I am currently typing this complaint using another PC. I noticed that the laptop can connect to the network automatically when I walk my router but the connection will last only a few minutes, and then he'd cut off. I tried to connect and the message I get is "unable to connect to this network. I checked with "ipconfig/all", wifi said media disconnected. I checked with the Dell support website and downloaded and installed a newer driver, but the problem persisted. Apparently the surf on the internet, this problem is faced with a number and any suggestions to fix do not work (after that I tried).

    Help, please.

You should be able to go back to 8.1 for Windows by following the instructions here:

  • I have wifi connection problems to my G5 iMac.

I recently got a G5 iMac. I put it on the floor about 10-15 feet of my modem/router. It's in another room, so I'm not able to use an Etherent cable. It has an Airport card, but I was unable to find my wifi. Do I need an Airport base station and if so this model/type?

Provide some additional details may be relevant to the problem.  There are several models of iMac G5.  Here is a list of all iMac models.  What model do you have?

    http://www.EveryMac.com/systems/Apple/iMac/index-iMac.html

Also, what version of Mac OS X turns?  You can select about this Mac from the Apple menu to get information about your system.

You do not need an Apple Airport access point.  But your router's wireless settings a difference.  For example, the last iMac G5 model (from 2005) has only 802.11b and g wireless, not of 802.11n (unless you use a third-party add-on).  Make sure your wireless router is not set to 802.11n only.

Like test, place the iMac that is close enough to your router so that you can connect using an Ethernet cable.  Do you have an Internet connection?  If so, select software update from the Apple menu to confirm that you are running the latest version of the system possible for your version of Mac OS X.  If there is an update, try the connection Wireless again after the update.

  • RALink RT3592 802.11a/b/g/n: Ralink RT3592 802.11a/b/g/n to 5 GHz WIFI connection problems

I have a HP Probook s 4530 with a Ralink RT3592 2 x 2 adapter WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and I try to connect to my wifi of 5G, but my laptop do not. He can see that the 2G version. My research on the web, I understand that it can use 5G, and my router broadcasts 5G because my phone use, so I can't work on what Miss me. Can anyone help?

    Best, Minoli

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer is to try the latest driver directly from Mediatek (Ralink).

    PCI / mPCI / CB (RT2860/RT2760/RT2790/RT309X/RT35X2/RT539X/RT3290/MT7630)
    30/06/2015Win7 32/64 Win8 32/64 Win8.1 32/64Win7:5.0.55.0 Win8:5.0.55.0 Win8.1:5.0.55.0

I had the same problem with the USB dual band Ralink wireless adapter.

He showed only the 2.4 GHz band, and I knew it was a dual-band card.

My first conclusion is that the adapter was defective and only 2.4 GHz radio worked.

I searched on the internet about the adapter model and found that someone suggested to install the latest driver for Ralink for it that has indeed brought the 5.0 Ghz band to life.

Don't say this is absolutely going to work for you, but you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

  • HPlaser 1102w: HP Laser 1102w with Mac wifi connection problems

Right. Hello. Basically, I've had this problem before and someone else fixed, now he has done it again and I really need someone to walk thorugh some steps. Forgive me if it's something really easy, but I'm not a tech person.

The Maverics, wireless printer Mac was finally up and running, everything was fine.

Owner changed the router on a better and faster. Yay!

Printer will connect is more to the Mac. Boo!

If printer will work when plugged into my computer, but is no longer trying to get wifi.

I am a PhD student, I really need a printer to work... not to mention, I have three classes to teach next week and may not print all what I need for the class without sitting on the floor, which is fine for some, but it would be much easier if I get this sorted wifi thing and know what to do for the next time this happens.

Tried to go through the open printer settings of utility, utility will not open. I'm pretty sure that this is where I need to change the wifi info so it can recognize the connection, but cannot understand why it won't work. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!)

So basically, I need someon to walk me through how to get this recognized for my wifi.

I know that others have understood a work-around on it using the PC of someone else. This is not really an option.

Anyone can guide me please you through what to do here, how to get this bloody printer to recognize the new wifi Info? Any help would be appreciated to greately. When this printer is working, it's great. But when the slightest thing goes wrong...

Thanks in advance. Screenshots and Cape ' do DummySpeak would go a long way with me. I am a student in art, tech, not so much.

    Thank you!!

    Hello @maddyjames,

Thank you for showing your interest in the HP Forums! I see that you want to configure the printer on the new network. I would like to help.

    Restoration of first default printer.

Turn the printer off, press and hold the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer on and do not release both buttons until the printer stops making the noise.

Print a configuration page to make sure that the old network settings are disabled: print a Configuration or report Page.

Make sure that Safari is set as default browser. (sometimes the SAP will not open if it is not set by default)

Open Safari, at the top, select the Safari menu, select Preferences, general, as a default value.

Remove the printer in printers and Scanners. Plug the USB cable from the printer to the Mac, and add the printer again. Make sure that it shows just the name of the printer. LaserJet P1102w. You may need to run the Apple updates.

Here's a Youtube video of the Laserjet P1102w on Maverick wireless installation.

    LaserJet P1102w.

You can follow the steps rather than watch the video if you want.

Then go to the Apple, system preferences, printers and Scanners.

Highlight the Laserjet on the left side of the window.

Then click Open Print Queue, click settings, click utility, click open printer utility, then click the button HTML Config.

The integrated for the printer Web server opens.

Click on the network tab, select Wireless on the left side.

Fill in the information for your network. Make sure that the infrastructure is selected. Status: Make sure that you select enabled.

    Apply the settings.

Then go back to the Apple preferences system, printers, and Scanners and click the + to add the Hello Laserjet Printer. (may take a few minutes to appear)

Remove the USB printer in the list of printers and Scanners window.

Disconnect the USB cable and try and print.

I would like to know if these measures worked for you. If they did, it's great! Give us some reinforcements by clicking on the solution and laurels, buttons that help and others see that we have the answers! Good luck!
