  I bought a windows Tablet and my iconia battery indicator stucks on 100% (when), and when the battery run out, the screen (and to all of the Tablet) just off, like if I get out the power cable from the PC.

  There is a utility called BatteryInfoView that might help diagnose the problem. Give it a try and see if it shows the real situation of the battery. If it also always displays 100% then you probably have a hardware problem and need to contact Acer support. Let us know how it comes out.

• Iconia W4-820 will not charge with the power adapter USB Std

  Bought my W4 Iconia four weeks ago, a demonstration model, the last of them. It was packed in the box with a micro USB x adapter USB OTG cable and a power adapter. Back at home I discovered that the power adapter has been to Asus, possibly mixed in the shop. The prospective buyer of the Asus Tablet demo likely will get the Acer adapter. Adapter Asus with micro USB male connector works fine; specs are 5.2V - 1.35 amps; seems to be a STD USB adapter. The Asus adapter has a connector to USB female port to connect to a USB x microphone cable to USB adapter (with cable power adapter came in the box). Bought a 2nd power with USB 2 socket adapter to connect my W4 Iconia and my Garmin Zumo390 browser to an adapter. Specs are 5V - 3.5 amps.
  The Zumo works very well with the new card, but does not work my W4. Charge light stays off. USB ports switched to he Zumo and the Iconia W4, but same result. Zumo fresh, but W4 not. Borrowed another power adapter USB, 5V - 2 mines anti-personnel and new Zumo accusations, but the W4 still does not work. Also tried different USB adapter cables, but the same thing; Zumo invoice, W4 does not work.
  How is that possible? I can't tell the difference of 0.2 V between the Asus adapter and a USB adaptor STD would make the difference. But maybe I'm wrong. Wanted for adapters for the W4 Iconia and found several, but all the 5V as expected.
  Can anyone help.
  Will go to the shop again next week, but if I need an adapter V 5.2 I should order with Acer. 5.2 V adapters do exist not (readibly).

  Resolved issues. A dark and humid Sunday afternoon back to the store with the Tablet and all the bells and whistles. Changed the card Asus for the original Acer 5V - 2Amps (10W). Took the time to find the Acer adapter in the store. Demonstrated the adapter 2nd with 2 output USB ports and it wouldn't work with the Tablet W4. Tried another and found to be ok. 2 USB ports have a different power, a port for a smartphone and the other port is one tablet. Total power rating of the adapter is 17.5W (5V - 3.5Amps); some 2.5 and 1Amps. A happy man is back home again.

  If I get only audio, no video. looked at the answer elsewhere on the community and apparently the answer is to download and install update to-pilots. 2 questions:

  1. in the event that I haveto it when my tab is less than 2 weeks?

  2. I can only download intall, the only options I get after downloading to open or save the downloaded files.

  Feeling frustrated as the only reason why I bought this tab should be able to use widi project to my TV to feel disappointed by this product now. Any help gratefully received.

  Hi Billsey, just thought that I let you know that I managed to stir things - the problem wasn't the difference in resolution between the tab and the TV screen I finally got extended work of the screen and the image is very good - not top quality but perfectly watchable for tv catch-up/movies etc.  Just thought I would come to you as you were kind enough to help me and in case it is of use to anyone else having the problem.  The display settings have been set so that the second screen is the main screen, so as soon as I launched widi my the tablet screen went black - still sensitive to the touch but black so in trying to change the settings I was shooting blind - I could see that the TV screen and trying to control it through a black screen.  Ultimately I disconnected projection so that my screen became visible, optimized my touch settings to make my touch screen more visible on a screen projected, re-connected the second screen, and this time, although my screen was black, I was able (after a long while of the violin with her) to restore the settings to see the tab the main screen.  Unfortunately, each solution has its share of problems but as it is essentially a different problem (extended to not duplicate TV screen and TV is no touchscreen and the mouse pointer is not visible on the large TV screen I'm back to blind shooting again) I started a new discussion.  Thanks again for your help.

• Iconia W4-820 does not start

  Hello. My Tablet cannot even start to get into the BIOS with Power + VolUp. The behavior is the green light flashes. Tried to unload the charges then full again. Given that I hit the power. Green light are blinking again. Any combination of a hard reset? I think I lost my UEFI or something.

  Windowsills are known to hang up to the stop. Now generally the power button down for 15-30 seconds will force a shutdown (in a dark room, the screen will be very low light off. Also, if you press the Windows button on some machines it will vibrate if the hampers.

  This can happen is that the device is set for automatic updates in the background. I always set mine all items ' wake we ' (especially ' wake we LAN ") are off and updates are set to check and warn but not install. MS don't like this.

  Easiest is to copy the files with a USB key, but the most elegant (IMHO) is across the network. Just join each machine to your homegroup, and you can copy back.

  Yes, the Evo would be a better deal if you plan to use in the W4. This is probably what I would have bought if the Pro has not been for sale when I got it.

  Please check. By coincidence, I had some problems with something else, and the solution for this is to disable FilterKeys in accessibility settings. After that I turned off FilterKeys, the by clicking on stop. So, this trigger is a function of filter keys.

  It is pretty easy to do, but you need the appropriate adapter cable (I have this: http://www.amazon.ca/Asuxtek%C2%AEMicro-USB-Host-OTG-Cable/dp/B00E8CL09Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407... but something similar will work).  Plug you it into the USB on the W4 and receiver microphone wireless for the mouse inside and you're good to go.  The one drawback is that you can't easily load the W4 during use.

  Using the VUDO To Go application, I can't view or download content HDX .  I get an error message that says: "Oops!"  The movie will not play on your screen due to copyright restrictions.  It can be played only if your output and display supports HDCP. [#3339]. "However, the HDX purchases will play in a web browser, but only in SD.

  The SD format can be seen and downloaded in the app, so no problem there.

  My question is can I view and download videos HD of the VUDU app to go with my W4 Iconia?

  I see something on the forums VUDU that talks about resetting your license files. I also see messages from people who say the HD movies are streaming only and the downloaded versions are not HD, SD

  As far as the Tablet goes, I see nothing that would limit playback of content, the HDMI connection also supports the HDCP if you try to press a picture for a larger screen (TV or monitor) in HD.   There is an option on this app 'clear data AGPS', I suggest to delete it and then update the AGPS data, a data connection is required to do.
