ID does not correctly place files HAVE

In the latest versions of InDesign and Illustrator is the following:

For example, I create a circle (or an elliptical approximation of the same height and width, in the jargon of Adobe) that is 50 "x 50".

I place this circle shaped in an ID file and resize it to 10%, while it measures 5 "x 5" since I am an elevation of the view to scale a wall to 1/10 full size. I use the x, the percentage of scale is at the top of the window for this.

I update the InDesign file, 5 "x 5" circle shape does not change, but it must now measure 4 "x 4"

I finally understood what was going on. When I first passed the file, I went to the scale X percentage and scale Y percentage in the InfoBar at the top. I initially put 10.0% to get the image of 50 in. x 50 in. up to 5 "x 5". When I changed the size of the original Illustrator at 40 "x 40 ', I looked and realized that ID had changed the setting of x % of 10% and y10 to x12.5% and y12.5%, that has kept the image placed in the ID file at 5'." Outrageous! No matter what I have to change the size of the file linked, he has remained... to 5 "x 5" in the file ID X, applied stupidly and foolishly change by itself. It is a HUGE problem for anyone who needs to design great graphics in Illustrator and put together them on a scale 'wall' in InDesign for printing or presentation. It didn't happen in the previous versions of this software. I hope it's something that can be disabled. I can't imagine a situation where this would be beneficial. Hope it makes sense. This sounds more complicated than it is. In short, the fields should never updated on their own.

You have been bitten by a particular preference setting that can be changed.

Open preferences > file handling > links. The default setting is "preserve Image Dimensions when reissue of links.

That's why he keeps the dimensions of the same file.

If you turn off this preference, it will scale when updating the link.

Different workflows have different needs. Your workflow requires scaling work when the artwork changes of dimensions.

    This page is saved in UTF-16 format (Content-Type: text/html (UTF-16 BOM, litte-endian)) in your text editor. The CSS file is sent as ISO-8859-1. Firefox fun to see all the files in the same encoding. The other pages are send as ISO-8859-1 and so use the CSS file. You will need to re - save this page as ISO-8859-1 and download the corrected version.

    Need you minimum Photoshop CS6 & Camera Raw version 8.3 use of Nikon 610 RAW files.

    However, if you cannot upgrade to Adobe Photoshop CS6, then you can use the DNG Converter to convert your images to DNG and use it with Photoshop CS5

  • Update KB976902 now the mouse doesn't work does not correctly

    I had the KB976902 recently updated on 2 of the 3 computers and 2 who got now have a mouse that does not correctly.  The computer number 3 does not have the update and still works fine.  All three are almost identical hardware and software and have legitimate versions of windows 7.

    The problem of the mouse made play almost almost impossible. Left click crashes, lag mouse click one or two times when I I try to do a restore from the left eventually drag a shortcut of the thing, I clicked on and don't know how or why.

    I did a restore on a single computer, but it did not help.

    Norton and McAfee applications are notorious for not to uninstall (or upgraded) themselves. Since you are not sure, I'll have to have executed two removal on all of the computers in question tools.

    NB: If a step said to reboot, reboot!

    Basically, the .deskthemepack extension is not recognized by Windows 7 because it is introduced in Windows 8. The new "panoramic" desktop themes all use this format.
