IdeaPad S10 OneKey Recovery gets stucked

I have a S10 G 160. I have not changed the size of the partition.

The OS is original.

I created a backup properly once b using the OneKey Recovery, but when I want to create a backup to update after I installed a software base, the problem comes.

OneKey Recovery starts successfully and can original to create a backup, but he's stuck trying to save a NON-Existing, named "Setup" folder, according to local settings.

I tried to analyze the c and d drives for system errors and bad sectors and there is noting wrong with the hard drive.

I tried to search for spyware, and nothing is found, no viruses, too.

I tried to reinstall OneKey Recovery, does not help anything...

Help, please!

Construction based on the recovery is very important to me.

Thank you very much.

    Hi Timmsey,

-You are able to boot to the desktop?

The issue may be caused if you have changed the hardware and software of the computer settings.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then download software updated driver for the device.

  • OneKey Recovery System killed my S10-2

My S10 - 2 has been seen frequent random restarts. I thought to use OneKey Recovery System since my file system may be damaged. Unfortunately, the restored process has failed and I had to manually shut down the system.

Now, at the start, I just get a white screen with this message:

"Remove the disks or other media."  Press a key to reboot ".

I can't boot into Windows, or even to re-run the process of OneKey.

is the dead S10? no warranty left.

I should not have used OneKey Recovery System. I was just very frustrated with the random reboots and the thought of all reset the original factory settings and start Win7.  now the S10 has met a premature end.

    Thanks for any advice.

Apparently, onekey recovery system wiped out my existing operating system.

I have a Macbook pro (2011 model). It gets stuck on the start screen on to half way through commissioning. This happens whenever the mac turns on. The problem is solved when I reinstall Yosemite to boot to Recovery Mode disk utility. However, the next time you start, the startup process is blocked to halfway to new (on the screen with the toolbar and the status of apple). I want a more permanent solution to reinstall the operating system every time. Would appreciate someone's suggestions and thanks in advance.

    Replace your hard drive.

You have a backup of trust? If not, buy a disc of exterrnal for that as well.

The progress bar from the left end at the beginning of the commissioning indicates that your drive has been so damaged, it could not be mounted. Five minutes of progress bar is shown as it does the equivalent of disk utility (ERD [Directory]). If you have reinstalled several times and the problem is not fixed, your drive is in solid form.

  • Cannot access UEFI on u410, rather onekey recovery option appears

I recently reset my laptop to factory default using the reset Windows 8 option, and now when I want to access the UEFI settings I get a prompt onekey recovery instead. Is it possible to get around because I just transferred my files and I don't want to reset everything again. I tried searching the Internet for a solution or explanation, but I have not found.

    Hello, thanks for posting!

I turned off my laptop for a bit, and then you press the NOVO button. There was an option in the BIOS Setup, but when I chose it the normal login screen appears. I tried to go to UEFI, but the same thing happens where appears the OneKey recovery fast. I turned off the computer again and using the NOVO button I chose Menu start or something similar, and I get the OKR again. I don't know if it's supposed to happen, but before I did a factory reset I could access to UEFI.

EDIT: So I googled some more info on how the NOVO button does not work as expected and I found this post:

    http://forums.Lenovo.com/T5/IdeaPad-Y-U-V-Z-and-P-series/lastest-BIOS-to-Flash-for-Lenovo-U410-I-can...

I've updated the BIOS using this link and I can access now! I guess I wasn't looking in the right places for the solution, but that the update is obscure and I really wonder why it is not available on the official website.

  • A key for the S10 - 3T recovery

I got my new s10 - 3T and the feeling that there are some problems with the installation of Windows 7 and/or driver. Secondary portrait screen orientation does not work and even more strange, I can't remove the program from Lenovo Rotation of the screen of the computer (using the control panel) - after the uninstall, it is reported to always stay there. There are other minor problems. According to the advice of Yigit, I'm going to perform a recovery of keys a (OKR) system in order to get clean windows and drivers.

There are several issues. Knowing the answers would help me a lot during the process of OKR, since in no case I could be considered to be an experienced user.

    1. how to start the process of the OSR:

    (a) use of OneKey Recovery program whose shortcut I have preinstalled on my desk and choose the system recovery

    (b) turn off the computer and turn it on and then with a small button in the upper left corner of the keyboard

Perhaps a) and b) are the same?

2 are there important choices (questions) I have to do (answer) the process of OKR? I mean a really important choice, not like the choice of language name, time or the user, etc.

3 would it not possible over process OKR to change the size of the partitions on my hard drive? Currently I have Local C: - 187GB and Lenovo D: - 30 GB drive. Personally, I'd rather have C around 100 GB and the rest be D:.  C: drive should contain windows, drivers and programs and D: my personal files, photos, music and movies.

    (4) after OKR is over, I'll get the computer:

    (a) with Windows 7 only, no driver at all and no Lenovo not preinstalled programs

    (b) with Windows 7 and pilots the basics at least in order to connect to the internet Wi - Fi, to have healthy and normal graphics

    (c) as it was delivered to me, with Windows, drivers and all the Lenovo preinstalled programs like VeriTouch, VeriFace, SmileDock and others, I already deleted as useless to me.

    (d) should I perform a backup before OKR? I have no personal files on this computer, that is to say, absolutely nothing to lose. Currently I have backed up (on my flash drive) that pilots on the Lenovo's D: drive.

    (e) made the sit system in \\?\Volume{64...} where it will be recovered to even? I do not see this partition in Windows Explorer, but I see it in the Defragmenter.

I'm sorry that the question is rather long.

    Thank you.

    a lot of questions

-How to start the okr process:

-are there important choices (questions) I have to do (response) during the process of okr? I mean a really important choice, not like the choice of language name, time or the user, etc.

    Nope.If application request click "next".

If you make changes on the volumes, a key recovery will stop working.

-After okr is finished, I'll get the computer:

-made the sit system in \\?\volume{64...} where it will be recovered to even? I do not see this partition in windows Explorer, but I see it in the Defragmenter.

There is a hidden partition for files.it system & recovery preferable not to because if you see a hidden Windows partition, one key pick up stops.

  • HP w1907: implementation gets stuck to the 'HP invent' blue Boot Screen

    Hi all

I have HP w1907 desktop... I use it since 2008.
Last month I format to have the new windows 7 in it... Previously I was also working with win7 Ultimate.

But it's keep restarting after the use of 4-5 minutes and so I installed the entire operating system yet.

It worked very well... after 3-4 weeks, when I started it, it gets stuck at the 'HP invent' blue Boot Screen.

This display has the instructions to enter the "Boot Menu", "Setup" and "System Recovery" by pressing key "F11" aor "Esc", "F10".  It is just there for ever.

If I try to enter the 'Boot' Menu by pressing the 'Esc' key, I get the message "Loading Boot Menu... ", but then it hangs there forever just.  If I try to enter the "Setup" Menu, I get a similar result - it says 'enter the Setup... ". "and just hangs there.  By pressing the "F11" key does not seem to do anything.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Searching the forums I tried to reset the BIOS - who I've got from here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-lockups-freezes-hangs/powering-up-gets-stuck-at-Blue-quot-HP-in...

    and

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01080282

After doing this too, the result is null

    Please help me...

    I'm in a hurry...

    Thank you.

Date and the incorrect time can certainly cause problems.  What happens usually, however, is that the sites Web will not be opened because the State in which the certificate is not up-to-date.  I have not heard of the time and date causing the computer does not start.  I think that you need to change the CMOS battery.  Here's a guide on how to change it.  The guide has also some good troubleshooting information.

Once the battery has been replaced, we'll see what happens.

Sometimes, he'll be back to normal, but most of the time the computer should be put to sleep or restarted to restore functionality.

    a. I tried turn off all touch pad feature one item at a time and all, he still has some weird random State.
(Did not try the impossible combination need $ to be interested but went to the 90% level)

    b. I tried disable the touch pad buttons offending and only using the mode tap the buttons and the problem still persist.

    c. Finally, tried bending the entire keyboard instead of pressing the buttons and it has also created the problem.

This leads me to believe either the power key or flexion of the entire keyboard is originally is

    a. flexion of the touch pad causing the driver getting into a crazy State or require a recalibration.

    b. electrical connections causing the driver enter a crazy State or require a recalibration of bending.

Note: I have reinstall the latest version of the driver.
Also: American Toshiba support site that this problem exists in the notebooks of May.

Also: The touchpad is too sensitive, which makes it very unusable!

Have you tried to install the operating system and check the functionality of the touchpad with the factory settings?
Recovery image contains tested the touchpad and right and I don't think that helps the driver installation.

  • G50-45 with Win Onekey Recovery 8.1 8.1

I'll be back just from the loop of the no / diagnosis your loop of death PC...

So now, I need to make a backup of onekey recovery now that everything works again.

When you try to use my sys partition OKR is too large for the recovery partition, so I tried to use the external which has plenty of room (3 TB), but I can't click start because it is grayed out. This is an external USB 3. Should be bootable or something?

My other problem is that in my efforts to make sure I had the latest version of OKR, I inadvertently replaced that he accompanies with (8.1) (8.0)...

It was a yellowish theme, now it's blue on the theme. The file that I installed was okrw818002105.exe.

And it will not let me backup externally.

Any idea on how I could return my original OKR 8.1?

    N °
    N °

    & No.

Solved the problem of 8.1 OKR myself. It turns out that the configuration for 8.1 which was preinstalled on this Lenovo was still on drive D and he's back the way it should be now.

Always impossible to go to the 3TO with OKR 8.1 if... Probably for the reasons you mentioned on TPG and all.

So I spent the day pass given to she who brought the Sys partition up to 101 shows. Still does not fit on the recovery partition which is only 23 concerts, so I'll use my 128Gig USB 3.0 drive Flash for the recovery DRINK for now.

    Thanks again for your response.

I'll post here if I have more questions.

Just a note aside, only thing that wrecked was the Boot Record, all the data was very well.

I had just run the Windows Update earlier in the day before it crashed and locked up.

So once I could get fix the screens I rode back to the restore point just before the update of Windows.

I tried the Bootrec reconstruction but there not to see the Windows installation is is TPG and not MBR, so I had to do the letter assignment drive using diskpart and all via the command prompt and then he was able to rebuild very well. Once this is he's right, if it took a while to rebuild his base for the menus and controls icon.

This site is a godsend and where I got my directions and strategy to do this:

    https://www.WinHelp.us/repair-your-computer-in-Windows-8.html

It might be useful for someone else with the loop of your PC not / diagnosis...

So happy that I have not lost anything but some sleep and time.

I own a lenovo ideapad Z570 and upgrade to a larger HARD drive (of 600 GB to 1 TB).

You want to have an oem installation (with preinstalled applications or you are flexible with a clean install of windows?
The okr partition will be there only in the hard disk installed in the factory and it won't work even if you copy the partition without making any changes. If you wish, you can also do a recovery partition custom of a key with your own backup recovery
