If a .fcpbundle can be rebuilt? Question Archive:

I have archived a FCPX project last year and I don't think that I did it correctly. It seems that I selected the .fcpbundle file and "has shown the contents of the package" and then copied all the content on my external hard drive for storage.

Now I open these files to back up. Is this possible?

I have the following inside my folder:

CurrentVersion.fcpevent (file)

Original media (folder)

Make files (folder)

List of sharing (folder)

[name of the event/project] (folder) by another 'CurrentVersion.fcpevent' file inside.

Is it possible to rebuild my .fcpbundle file or open these files somehow?

No, you must have checked in the library complete .  An interesting question, however.  If you create a new empty library and can copy everything that was in the original library (rendering of files may be omitted) in with the correct directory structure I would expect she would be recognized.

However, you don't list the file CurrentVersion.flexolibrary, which is the library database - quite important!  If you do not have it I doubt it would work.

The library should contain this to the next level, then he must make a folder for each event.  Each event record contains the CurrentVersion.fcpevent file, a record of original media and a folder for each project.  Project files contain another database file CurrentVersion.fcpevent.   Because AFAIK FCP X library details are owners of Apple and not published, so I don't think that any reconstruction of lower level is possible.

    No problem. I think that the warning means that you will not be able to use Undo to bring back the pictures and it will have to do it manually. There is no risk of corruption.
