If I upgrade my pc windows 7 to Windows 8, can I then use the license windows 7 on another PC?

I have Win 7 Ultimate and bought Win 8 Pro Upgrade. I am also building another box. If I switch to win8 on the existing computer, can I use the Win 7 on new computer license?

No, you can't, because the WIndows 8 upgrade using Windows 7 as a license of qualification.

  • Reinstall Windows 7 using the same product key on another computer.

I bought a product key on the Microsoft site, and a few days later I received the disks by mail (a year ago). I now use it on this computer, I plan on building a new computer soon. I'll be able to disable this old computer product key and activate it on the new?

Just remove it from the computer, on which it is currently installed and proceed to install on the new and reactivated by phone.

    1. is the streaming of films and videos slow down or you are totally unable to broadcast their?
    2. what exactly happens when you try streaming?

You can check if the below link help-

So it depends entirely on the broadband connection you are using and speed offered by the connection. If you want faster streaming then you need check the high-speed broadband connections. I have a Tablet PC originally shipped with Vista installed. I've upgraded to Windows 7 disk 3 license and have since upgraded to Windows 8 with promo code I got when purchasing a new office.

Can I reuse the license to move an other PC from Vista to Windows 7, since the upgrade to Windows 8 would have been valid for a Vista upgrade?

    Hello

I am running a copy retail of Windows 7 Ultimate on a desktop PC I built myself.

I want to continue to use my Windows 7 license on the new system, but some of the forum posts I've seen suggests that I would need to remove Windows 7 from my current set in place before reinstalling so as not to invalidate the license agreement.

    ·         You receive an error message or error code?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: Remove all external devices connected to the computer such as printers scanners or USB external hard drives and restart the computer and check if you receive the error.

Yes, you can, as long as they are the same edition.

I already made an ISO and copied on a USB key using the Microsoft tool.  I hope someone can tell me that it will work or I have to start all over again and make an ISO using the original retail disk before installing?

SP1 or RTM (non - SP1), it doesn't matter, as long as you have a key corresponding to the edition being installed.

  • How clone a HARD drive and then use the clone with VMware (as well as Windows works!)?

I have a system where Windows 7 is installed, and I'm doing a clone of her image of HARD drive, I then want to use in my main with VMware PC, so that I can start Windows 7 at the cloned disk.

I used Ultimate Boot CD v5.1.1 with which HDD I wanted to clone, and I cloned using EaseUs Disk Copy, which comes with Ultimate Boot CD. The source HARD drive was 250 GB in size which had 3 partitions, while the USB HDD I have attached to the system, which was supposed to be the disk of destination/clone, was 320 GB in size. I chose to create a replica, exact and up to 250 GB of data (partitions, etc.) has been copied exactly, and the rest of space was not allocated. I have now connected this USB HDD to my main PC, shot to the top of VMware Workstation 8 and defined a new Virtual Machine and chose to boot from the USB HDD.

The result is that when Windows starts (from the cloned HDD inside VMware), I get the blue screen error until I get to the login screen.

How can I change my methodology so that Windows starts even on the clone? I can change the tools I use, etc.

You can use the usb drive is
you only need to patch the system a little registry
to do this, you start the virtual machine with the usb drive in a restore win7 CD, and then follow the instructions I posted here
    http://sanbarrow.com/p2v2008r2.html

    Patching - easy Variant

This procedure is used when otherwise the VM would start in a kind of bluescreen 7B.
This means that VMware is the target and that you configure the computer virtual with VirtualHardware type 7.
It applies only if the virtual disk is configured like this
    scsi0.virtualDev = "lsisas1068".
    scsi0:0. FileName = "imported.vmdk".

On the platform target start the virtual machine, newly created in the Windows 7 recovery CD.
After the initialization is complete, click CMD and run regedit.
Select HKLM, then Menu > file > load hive.
Navigate to the Windows directory on the virtualdisk > system32\config and select the file SYSTEM.
When asked for a name enter p2v.
    Then find the key

    HKLM\p2v\ControlSet001\services\LSI_SAS

and the startup type of the REG_DWORD value 0
Select HKLM\p2v, and then click Menu > file > unload hive.
You can now close regedit and restart.
The next time you start, you can start in the 2008 R2 system. He should find the drivers and probably need to reboot when finished.
