  After a series of accidents when the hotmail and gmail, I received a message to download Firefox Setup 8.0, which I finished yesterday. This solved my problems of e-mail. However, I have now tried to access my e-library work, but despite being on the right site with all the macros OK journal, when I click to go to the electronic library (which should give me), direct entry I find myself being diverted to the proxy of my University Library, which (of course) does not give me access to my library of work. I will keep this in mind - I only checked to have downloaded Firefox Setup 8.0 (2) .exe (which I happened to find sitting in the toolbar, and it's not because I've been invited to download). This seems to have solved now redirect to a server incorrect proxy - the only thing that remains to be done is to find why I have a blank page when I get redirected to the correct e-library! I will contact the administrator of this site. Thanks again for your suggestion. I will certainly use it if I have more problems.

  Win 10 gave my grief of accounting software, so I took the decision to return to 7. Now, my network access seems quite dead. The network is there as my other computers can see.

  Just says unidentified network. Tried all usual shooters of network problems and they say it may be a problem with my LAN card. Tried a new network card (wired). Always says that no connection is available. Updated the driver for my original card. Can not access internet or anything else on the network.

  Just to clarify, in the case where this help anyone. I transferred more SC around 6 to help Apple migration assistant, and the only program in the suite that could not be accessed except through the trial version of cloud was the Illustrator. After that more than an hour on the Adobe support chat, turns out that I needed to follow the guests to buy cloud version, then type the serial number of my CS software at some point in the process. There you go.

  I upgraded to Windows 7 and was asked to move all my folders/files on a shared drive, so HE could wipe my laptop clean, install W7 and then they have reinstalled all my software.

  I took care to move files in their records.  I moved the folder 'My RoboHelp projects' with all my projects to our Shared disk...

  When I moved back to my laptop, I'm unable to open the source folder of the robohelp project created originally as a .xpj.  I get following error messages, one saying that it cannot open the file .cpd. When looked at the file of the file extension is a. DPC.  How could he change the .xpj in a .cpd?  I'm confused...

  In the second error message, I would say that you must apply all the patches RH8. I do not think that the patches are cumulative, so you need to install each in order. Use help > check for updates. I think its about 8,03 now.

• Password MS Surface has been lost/changed and now can not access the device.

  My wife recently got a tablet of Ms Surface.  Initially, she set his password and was able to use the device without problem.  However, after 2 days of used light, the device does not recognize the password and don't let her diary.  How can solve us this problem so that it can reset his password and access?

  Mario - Sorry for my delay in responding, but I need to retrieve the response that we had found.

  Surface of my wife would not accept his password and if it could not connect to use most of the suggested solutions to 'reset' a password.  We had to do a complete Factory reset by following the following steps (that I found on the Web, and successful):

  The only way to start a complete RESET without signing in Windows is to stop start Windows handle once or twice to get "Automatic Windows repair" to start, as follows:

  1. turn off the device in now the power button for 6-10 seconds

  2. press the power button to wake it up.

  3. once the Surface Logo appears, wait for the indirect "dots" approach to appear and then press and hold the power button for 6-10 seconds to turn the unit off again.

  4. Repeat step 2 & 3 until the Surface Logo appears with the words in saying "prepare auto repair.

  5 recovery Mode turns on.

  6. in the BITLOCKER screen, press "skip this drive".

  7. press on 'Advanced Options '.

  8. press on "Troubleshoot".

  9. press "reset".

  10 tap... "Just remove my files.

  11 reset process will take about 20-30 minutes - and all DATA WILL BE REMOVED FROM the DEVICE.

  When the "reset" process is complete, the OOBE/Start Up Wizard must begin and the customer can complete the installation of their Surface device.

  Please note that we have used this process because
  (1) we could not connect you to the Surface unit AND
  (2) because we had no personal data to save.  If you have any personal data that you don't want to lose, you will need to find another way to reset the Surface.

  I hope this helps.  He has worked for our situation and the Surface continued to operate perfectly since.

  I have reset my modem/router to factory reset through my laptop to try to solve a problem. Now it will not allow Internet access through browsers at all, but I can still ping via the CMD prompt

  It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or limit Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
