iMac 5K (2016) will not all wake up with connected external display

I have an iMac 27 "5K nine. My first Mac from Windows - it was a world of frustration and then most of the things I re-learned or found of alternatives for, I have a major problem of the iMac not wake from sleep. It took days to change things and we cut the field down to discover is an external monitor at the origin of the problem.

I have a LG 23MP75 IPS monitor hooked up to 90 degrees. This is a debugging, screen bash and the cat. The external monitor is connected through a HDMI cable that is routed into an 'active' HDMI mini-Display port adapter. I was told that the adapter is active is important after I had one active and bought assets to try to solve this problem. I read that the removal of the hibernation file may contribute to allow OS x to replace but I opened it instead and it is empty so not corrupt (sudo rm/var/vm/drag).

If I stop and restart, the login screen is badly laid out, it has mirrored screen not extended display which is how it is implemented. See the images to compare. This makes me wonder if part of the problem is OSX being unhappy with the configuration of the monitor outside being connected?

There is no strange configuration, the machine was brand new from Apple themselves, by default on the box, no restoration or something like that as I'm new to Mac.

Can anyone offer any suggestions to fix the problem so I didn't either unplug the cable or the stop (which brings me to see the connection in horrible mirror every morning)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry, this is not Microsoft.  This is a public forum from user to user hosted by Microsoft on its servers for the comfort of its clients, and we all here are volunteers.

    You say you use XP.  What is your question?  What do you mean 'conflicts with Vista?

    I suggest recovery discs you order from HP for your computer.  If HP is no longer the issue of stocks you can order such a third of Recovery - Disks.com.  There are several of these companies.  If you are going to use XP, you need to install XP from scratch and this means that you need XP drivers for your brand and model.  If HP has no XP drivers on your computer you must not try to use XP on it.

    Remember that Vista Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium and Ultimate out of Microsoft support on 10 April and there will be more updates, including critical security patches after that date.  Only Vista business and company will continue to receive updates.  You might consider this a good time to upgrade to Windows 7.  You must download and run the Windows Update Advisor once you restored Vista successfully.

    Sat A300 and other new models of laptops are equipped with HARD drive recovery option. This HARD drive recovery should allow you to recover the laptop without the use of all disks.

    Try these 2 things:

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:

    As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

    As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

I downloaded a NEW multimedia player of BS to WWW.filehippo.com/download bsplayer/8842/who worked for the media BS player. I got help with THAT download to get, I got the SECOND version listed on the left column. Now works on computer, next step is to get the "firmware" for Panasonic download on my dvd player, and it will play as well.
