iMac stuck on randomly on Startup logo

Hello

I tried to get in the way of the question, without success. Around every 10 times I start my iMac, I have problems with the stuck progress bar to half way through, and do not connect. I made sure that there is nothing in the paper start upward. I have also reset the PRAM and run iMac in safe mode with verbose mode. I often have to run disk utility to start, and there's nothing wrong with the drive as this has been verified.

I checked the hard drives external questions and also tried to solve the problem resting time machine back up still without success. I thought that the problem may be caused by using parallels, but I make sure that it is closed and not running before closing the iMac down.

I also ran a reboot option to get in recovery mode and I can see the mac hd is the startup disk. I have also reinstalled the operating system and restored from time machine, which did not help.

running out of ideas, this isn't a problem with the machine as it is only 10 months old. any ideas anyone?

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Step 1

For this step, the title of the Console window should be all Messages. If it isn't, select

in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

in the menu at the top of the screen bar.

In the upper right corner of the Console window, there is a search box to filter. Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes).

Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the BOOT_TIME message that corresponds to the last boot time when you had the problem. Now, clear the search box to display all messages. Select those saved after the start, then something unusual was going on. Copy to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.

For example, if the problem is a slow start in three minutes, posting the timestamped messages within three minutes after the start time, not before. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the beginning of the extract from journal - not at the end.

If there is a long series of messages, please post only one example of each. Do not post of many repetitions of the same message.

When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.

Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

Please do not post screenshots of log messages - text poster.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

Step 2

In the Console window, select

DIAGNOSIS AND diagnostic USE information reports ▹ System

(not diagnose them and use Messages) in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

List of newspapers seen ▹ display

in the menu bar.

There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points downwards. You will see a list of reports. A crash report has a name that begins with the name of the process crashed and ends with ".crash". A report of panic has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends with ".panic." A report of reboot GPU has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends with ".gpuRestart." Select the most recent of each. The content of the report is displayed at right. Allows you to copy and paste to validate all of the content, text, not a screenshot.

I know that the report is long, perhaps several hundred lines. Please report all this anyway.

If you don't see any report, but you know, there was a crash or panic, you can have selected diagnostic and using the list of Log Messages. INFORMATION on the USE of DIAGNOSTIC AND choose instead.

In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you change the UUID ' anonymous, ' a long string of letters, numbers and dashes in the header of the report, if it is present (it cannot be). "

More likely you would not have received installation media with the system and recovery partition conatins the image of the operating system, you can use if you want to reinstall the operating system.

If you do not have the installation media and you have not created an either, it's only the recovery partition you can reinstall the operating system.

My iMac turns off 10 seconds after the start to the top. I tried repair disk running, to no avail. What is happening is because my boot drive is full, off the 500 GB I partitioned in mac, 493,63 GB is taken up. I bought a thunderbolt cable to access the TOC on my mac book, and I have access to my files now. The problem is that I can only copy files. Authorities say I read and write permissions. When I start my host computer, it says "you can still open or copy the files on the disk, but you cannot save changes to the files on the disc. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can. "I'm trying to copy all my files on this computer and remove what I don't want copies, then reinstall OSX on my iMac. The problem is that some files are native to all OSX, so it would prevent me from copying the files. For example, if I want to copy my applications folder, it stops to copy once it reached the app store, because it cannot copy that. It is a problem because when it comes to the library, there are small files in there that I don't know if I can copy, then it stops at the copy and I end up with half of my files and I don't know what I need and what I have.

Everything you need to copy the disk, then start the iMac in recovery (command-R) mode. Wipe the drive and reinstall OS X from the recovery console.

Have you tried to install the operating system and check the functionality of the touchpad with the factory settings?
Recovery image contains tested the touchpad and right and I don't think that helps the driver installation.

I have Toshiba Satellite A200, Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 6.0.6002.

For the two weeks... my laptop randomly freezes / restarts... especially when it is started for the first time in the day OR after being in standby / hibernation of State for a few hours.
Sometimes it gets stuck before we get to the login screen... sometimes shortly after... no certain activity seems to be related to this gel. And it's not freezing all the time... sometimes it restarts too. No blue screen.

No new software installed, except regular updates of windows. No conflict in the device driver. I checked the website of toshiba for the latest drivers. BIOS had a newer version... So I installed which (2.5). But the problem has not disappeared.

When the computer reboots, it works fine... I'm not able to find something to worry about in the event viewer. Start logging also came not to the top with a few errors. I also disabled the option restart automatically.

Windows partition was low on space... only 6 GB left of allotted 40 GB... so I thought to backup and install from scratch... do that... all the updates that are installed during the next days... but my laptop is back to the same State. One thing I notice, is that now it takes longer after starting (and then restart) to connect to the wireless router. But this isn't a problem.

Microsoft Fix It didn't help either... am looking for help to identify the cause and resolve it.

Is there a conflict somewhere which surfaces while system is booting high / shortly after startup?

The HARD drive can be easily verified. Download the drive diagnostic tool called HARD: Drive Fitness Test
It s freeware tool and it allows you to scan the HARD drive and get details on possible malfunction.

The diagnosis of RAM can be done easily. Of course, there are tools like memtest86 + and similar, but in my experience the results of the analysis are not always 100% right

My iMac keeps crashing randomly.

Since the installation of the last update to El Capitan my iMac 2011 has been randomly (not to mention terribly frustrating!) crashes. The system reboots, but the downtime with these accidents is to destroy my workflow.

The first attempt to update unusable machine. Support Apple recommends a clean install as download may have been corrupted. After return to Lion, I managed to rebuild the system to the current version of El Capitan, but these accidents persist began almost immediately.

Several system tests have shown no failures in any hardware on the system. A trip to my local Apple store for an intermediate test again showed flawless. I tested the software that I use regularly and found no obvious cause it.

Accidents are completely random and varied on the number of daily. The machine lasted more than 48 hours without fail after my trip to Apple. But since the beginning of this morning he broke down twice.

while I do tasks such as there is a time when I was waiting for a word on Microsoft word 2016 document while listening to a YouTube video, my Mac goes off randomly. If I move the mouse that nothing happens, or if I click on the keyboard, even when I click on the button at the back of the mac market. To remedy this, I have to cut the plug from the socket and wait a few minutes, then switch it on again, then without me touching the power button on the back of the Mac turns. I have a usb hub that has a constantly on the Mac is on the head, and when the problem arises that the led is not on so I'm sure that the Mac is turned off completely without power. The power offs get more frequent, and at first I thought it was because it was when I was using Windows in virtual box, but I deleted the virtual machine and the problem still happens.

I think it has something to do with the power supply becpause I have the iMac connected to an extension cord about 7 meters which is plugged into the wall outlet

the extension has only two taken end that which I use for the Mac and one for my printer (brother j132w) but I don't think that the printer has nothing to do with it, because the problem happens even just the I Mac is connected to the extension lead.

I live the. U.K., so I have the uk plug if it has a meaning

on my imac iTunes is randomly opening and playing the songs! Help.

During the last week, I noticed that my iTunes will open randomly on its own. Sometimes it will start to play music and other times not. First thought that perhaps I was going crazy, but it just happened while I was in the room and I witnessed it with my own eyes, two ears. I not attached external speakers and not iTunes special "Add-ons" to explain this oddity. Everyone?

Some older models of iMac have IR (infrared) entry, like the type used with the TV remote control. Is there a nearby used TV (or another source of IR signals), and your iMac has entered infrared, it can get picked up. If your iMac has IR, you will see its value in the following location

Preferences system Security & Privacy pane Advanced button disable the infrared remote control receiver checkbox

If you see that, check that box.

So there is nothing plugged into the port of the iMac (headphone jack) audio output?

iMac keeps stopping randomly.

My iMac 27 inches, end of 2012 stops randomly. I can just read News Articles, listening to music or watching YouTube videos and it'll just cut. I can just turn on either. I have to disconnect if for a minuet or two and then it can be powered on. I sent to a Genius Bar twice and said that they conducted tests of stress on it real long try to plant it and cannot reproduce the problem. I even had swapped power cable, and it still happens. I also plugged it directly into the wall, without going through the fuel rail. Getting real frustrating from the Apple Store nearest is an hour and a half, but if they cannot duplicate the question then I understand they cannot fix it. Sound also get near the end of my warranty Apple Care, so I want to fix this very soon.

S57 stuck in the Acer's Logo

My s57 is stuck in the screen of Acer logo since this morning.

I am able to get into recovery mode, but "Wipe data / factory reset" and "Wipe cache Partition" changes nothing and still have this acer screen.

Any idea?

Probably some corrupted files, if you are still under warranty call Acer support service

My MFP HP Laserjet Pro M225dw stuck on HP «Initializ ing» logo

I have a HP Laserjet the MFP Pro M225dw, less than a year. After having turned off for two months, he's stuck on the screen "Initializ ing" the HP logo.

Thank you access the Forums from HP Support for extra support! I see that the printer is locked during initialization after you have not used for two months. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

Try a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

I suggest to try and update the firmware of the printer. It always needs to be updated even if the printer is in an error state: HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility. Just select your operating system.

I'll send you the reset of the printer try in a private message.
