• 25.5 in. iMac with six "bad blocks" int. Can HD - I simply use cloned only external drive?

  I have a 25.5 in., 3.3, 2 TB, 8g RAM iMac and upward to bad six blocks on the internal drive - this number recently increased by 4.  Is a sign imminent disk failure and could I clone the HD, then ignore it and start with, install and use the cloned disk buffer hard all the time.  Fix an internal hard drive won't be cheap, I couldn't do it myself, and as the i - Mac has more than six years would it be preferable to replace it completely?  Until he gave up completely, I could just ignore the internal drive and do everything from the clone?  Help please?

  Live broadcast is not available via the USB port on your camcorder.  While the HDMI streaming is not a supported feature, if you have a computer with a HDMI capture device, you can stream from this terminal.

  Following my original post, I made some progress, at least with my Contacts/address book and diary respondent/iCal.   Other sites said save the entire Palm as a vCard file addressbook.  It did not work because whenever I tried to save the Palm Desktop crashed and the file saved no content!    But I perservered and I could highlight a handful (up to about 75 names at a time) in the addresses of Palm Desktop and drag them to the desktop Mac, where they recorded as individual vCard.  These can all then be slipped into the Mac address book in the dock.  Then when I synced the iPhone with the Mac, they were inserted there.  A lot of time but it was beter than returning all the files one at a time!   The necessary data from cleaning each address book, but may have partly because I had always put the right numbers in the correct boxes (IE mobile home, etc.).

  Other sites, including the Apple Forums, said that a similar solution might work for data vCal in the Palm log; That is, save the diarydata as a vCal file, then imort this file in the program iCal, this sort of worked but needs a lot of storage once it was in the iCal.

  So he took a weekend, but now it's all there.

• How to create a pdf file in Indesign with 40 hyperlinks file so it can be used on different computers?

  I create a document in Indesign CS4, which is to be exported to pdf format.

  In this one page document, there are about 40 products listed, one after the other and each product has been implemented to hyperlink to a specific pdf in the same directory.

  This was no problem.

  There where the problem is that it won't work on other computers because it seems "electrician" the address of the hyperlink file.

  Then I went and put in place the hyperlink as a URL.  It worked on any computer, but then the pdf file opens in a Web browser.

  I NEED THE PDF LINKED TO OPEN IN ADOBE READER.

  Then I opened a pdf page in Adobe Acrobat Pro.  It has none of the hyperlinks.  So I've created hyperlinks it.  No probs.  It worked.  But if I want to update this document to a page in the future, I'll have to recreate all the links.  I have other docs that I need to create hundreds of links.

  Anyone can shed some light on this?  It should not be difficult.  Why a linked file doesn't work on any computer?
