  Use BCDEDIT to SET the description that you are wanting to "Rename" and also to choose the displayorder, timeout and that you load by default...

• Captivate 8 is NOTHING but the bugs and errors and aggravation - effects are Worthless

  I'm a discharge again.  I'm Captivate in hell.  Absolute hell.  This program is the worst thing I have ever been faced with aid - the simplest of things, THE SIMPLEST of THINGS, cannot be done without aggravation and headaches.  I can't tell someone how exact and my hatred of this program is accurate, words cannot express such deep emotion.  Suffice it to say, I'm in hell.

  All I want to do is get a series of phrases from the right, to the left, with audio, timed one after the other, with about 5 seconds between each ease-In.  NOPE.  I made and remade 6 times now, and all 6 times the effects are screwed up, don't work and lock on.  I can't take more.  I can't just take another day about the stupidity of this program. The simplest Animation 101 idea of easing in the text is this shit hardest I've ever had to do in this crazy program.  I can do this with my eyes closed in other animation programs.

  Have you tried to download the evaluation version of Captivate 9 and study the effects of the recently renovated it?  If this is not the case, at least take a look until you throw you under the bus.

  You can also find the new delay action useful because it allows you to specify with advanced Actions in periods of time between actions.

• XPS M1530 with new SSD will not identify adapter WLAN 1395

  I just bought a new SSD 128 GB for my old workhorse XPS M1530, installed a clean VISTA Ultimate 32 bit OS since the original DVD supplied with the laptop.  Everything works except the wireless 1395 adapter.

  I know that the material of the wifi card is good, because wifi still works when I put the old 64 GB SSD back in. I use the same version of WLAN driver on the new facility.  Device Manager indicates that the adapter is installed and working properly.  Yet the computer with the new SSD does not recognize that the wireless network adapter is installed and activated.

  I use the WLAN driver and BIOS version recommended Support Dell for my service number.  These are the same versions that I have on the former SSDS.

  I'm tempted to reformat the new SSD and start all over again, but that takes a lot of time to reinstall everything. And I wouldn't waste 10 GB on the new SSD to install the recovery partition on the new SSD which lies on the former SSDS and do a restore on the new SSD.  I have more certain supplied software preinstalled on your laptop.

  I made an another clean install of the operating system on the new SSD, and this time, I found and used the Drivers and Utilities of original disc that came with the laptop to install the DELL software system utility first.  That did the trick, because when I installed the drivers of that era, the WLAN 1395 works.

  Now I have a space wasting a 22 Gb Windows.old directory, but I am happy.  I'm going to reformat the drive in the morning then it is plugged to my laptop in an external USB SATA drive enclosure and start with a clean car and redo the OS install again, this time properly.

  It's a bit ironic that the DELL system software utility has not been showing available for my service on the support.dell.com site tag.

  Lesson learned.  I'll post tomorrow how the last OS install goes on the SSD clean and new.

  I have this pc for 3 years.  My system was full of unused and unwanted programs, so I rebooted to Vista, deletted all my old files that Vista had moved into the "old." This is when I started having this disorder.

  (I made this process more yet to see if it would help with no luck)

  My first thoughts were video driver... downloaded the new drivers 3 times.  scanned all the other drivers for updates ect. nothing seems to help...

  I was able to download these files.  Rthl64.sys point - one component of your network cable in pictures device driver memory.  Interestingly, the dates of the 2006 pilot (Rtlh64.sys my Sep 26 07:20:23 2006 (45190CF7)), so it's most likely your problem.  Follow these steps:

  -Download a new copy of the software/drivers on the website of Realtek here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=7&PFid=10&Level=3&Conn=2

  -Uninstall the current software/drivers on your system

  -Install the newly downloaded drivers

  -Monitor for more BSOD

  The way I got it to print has been:

  Without opening the program, in the list of applications, move on to Adobe Reader and right click, select Properties.

  Go to the compatibility and click 'run as Admin '.  Reopen the application and all prints for me now.
