Images in gray

Have a day of nightmare! Have lost my pictures after I tried to stop a mobile sync (which I didn't) in mid flow that he used to take hours. Should then stop LR6 and shut down the computer as is stuck.

On reopening pictures (512 images) show in the collection as flag and file names appear, but the images are grayed out blank and on. He seems to recognize that the collection is here and the images individually to develop only show. Any help please I would be extremely grateful in very basic terms. Everywhere in the files/collections do not also showing. No just empty mark. Thank you.

Thank you all for your support.

Went to call remains that should solve this problem in the end and fortunately they used a supported version. Previews have been damaged but not files main sub develop. Glimpses of old ransacked. A couple very stressful days, but fortunately all resolved now.

  • A few Images in gray in the grid visualization

    It is the first time I've seen this problem.

    Today, I was looking at my library of images and I noticed that some of the images are grayed out.  Dimmed, I mean they appear desaturated... as if LR4 is trying to tell me something about the picture... but I don't know what.

    If I click on the image I can modify it.  He appears normal when the 'image' (once again the bright colors).  But as soon as I make another image of the 'image' the other image goes back to the gray appearance.

    This is only true for certain images.

    What is going on?

    Is it possible that you have rejected these images, they are now marked to be deleted?

  • All Images are gray

    I use an old version of photoshop (cs2).  I used it yesterday and everything seems to work fine.  Today, I opened a document that was mainly black and gray.  The color picker doesn't let me choose any color other than gray.  The image is not in grayscale (it is in CMYK mode), the channels said CMYK.

    I tried to open the other images I opened before without any problems and they are gray.

    What I did and how can I fix?

    Thank you

    Hello, you can see the color in other applications? If not, make sure that the monitor is connected correctly. (seems doubtful, you would have noticed it)
    If so, make sure to check what is meant in the layers panel, that you are not sampling the colors on a layer mask (for example if the top layer is a layer of setting).

    In addition, by default, the foreground color selector is to have the selected B HSB f.

    If nothing works, you need to reset your preferences: (the procedure is similar for CS2)

  • Import of image sequences: grayed out option

    I am trying to import a numbered as a video clip in Premiere Pro CS6 image sequence, but must not be the files:

    I've got 9480 JPEG image files named like BlahXXXX.jpg where XXXX is 0000 to 9479.

    Now when I go to file > import... and select all the files, the box at the bottom of the file choose window (image sequence) is grayed out. If I simply select a single image, I can check it out, but when you click on 'Import' then, first will be important only this single still image.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Hi Digihill1,

    This works as expected for me. Try this:

    1. Choose file > import (not the media browser)
    2. Put in the folder with your pictures in sequence
    3. Click the first image in the image sequence (select only the first image, not all the images in the folder)
    4. Click the box image at the bottom of the import dialog box sequence
    5. Click the import button
    6. Your image sequence is imported in the form of a clip

    Thank you

  • The images are gray boxes (Acrobat 9.5.2)

    Acrobat 9.5.2 is displaying images as of the blank grey boxes for one of my users.  It opens even a PDF she did a few months ago which worked well in June, but now today it's also showing it just empty grey boxes.

    All text is intact.  The tables are good, lines are good, its just the images, which, in our case, are graphics that one of our accounting programs to export to PDF.

    I can view the file very well and can therefore another colleague.  The other colleague is on the version 9.0.0 and am on 9.5.1.  I'm trying a repair through windows xp appwiz.cpl installation by choosing acrobat standard adobe 9 and make change and then clicked by the guests.

    No idea what is going on here?

    The solution was in Adobe Acrobat, menu bar go to:

    Edit > Preferences > Page display >

    the information and content of the Page, check the box

    'display big images '.

  • Google Image Search shows only one page of results, then the gray boxes

    Since several months ago, google search for images watch gray boxes instead of the thumbnails after a random number of thumbnails correctly indicated.

    I've seen several posts on the web and several suggestions, but none solved the problem for me (FF 20.0.1, Windows Vista and Windows 7).

    Finally, I tracked down the source of the problem and found a workaround:

    Looking at the traffic on my firewall (iptables nat) I found this during the loading of an image search result:
    192.168.168.159 - > 74.125.234.226 TLSv1 alert (level: Fatal, Description: unexpected Message)

    So, I realized that since there is a time firefox uses https whenever we use google.

    The solution is after loading the image (with the gray boxes) search result, just replace the https to http protocol in the browser's address bar. Which loads the remaining without problem images when you scroll to the bottom of the page.

    IE does not have the problem because it does not have this redirect. If you load a 'good' search results in Internet Explorer, then replace http with https in the address bar, the same problem occurs in Internet Explorer.

    (so, apologize for posting this here, because it's not really a matter of "firefox", but given that most people are complaining that it is, I though it would be a good place for the available information)

    Thanks, but as I said, that is done the same if forced to https. I can boot to linux, and FF is the same, like chrome.

    So it's not anything related to the cache, cookies, or plugins or even FF FF. It's probably something in the firewall. I just posted it here because other people have been blaming FF for this problem (it is more likely to be seen in FF, because it was google redirect to https for 14.0.1).

  • How to convert FLIR gray Image to a map of temperature in NI VBAI

    I worked with an infrared camera FLIR A315 and software VBAI of NEITHER.  I need determine the presence and continuity of a hot mastic foam which has been injected into the hollow bulb of a bead attached to 4 adjacent places that flow together inside the bulb of weatherstripping to form a continuous rubber scoured the filler plug.

    So far, I was able to trigger image acquisition in VBAI from a FLIR infrared camera monitoring the status bit an Allen-Bradley PLC.   Communication with the camera FLIR A315 is via the IMAQdx GigE driver.  However, I did not understand how to determine the temperatures of the gray scale images I get from the FLIR camera.  I wonder if someone could give me some advice on how to do it.

    I have attached a few images below to illustrate what I work with and to what extent I'm away.

    • iPhone_Photo.jpg - shows a photograph of the stripping section that the FLIR infrared camera is 'looking '.
    • FLIR_IR_Monitor.jpg - a screenshot of a FLIR Infrared Monitor utility that shows the temperatures measured at a number of points and areas (showing that it is possible)
    • NI_VBAI.jpg - part of my VBAI 2010 project that shows the image, I have acquired the FLIR A315 IR camera

    So, I am part of the path, but so far have not found a way to map the image of gray-scale that VBAI acquires the infrared camera FLIR in a heat map where I can determine the temperatures - and would be grateful for the help on how to do it.

    Kind regards

    Nick

    Hello

    Image provided by the FLIR camera are unsigned 16-bit.

    According to the temperature scale FLIR selected (10mK or 100mK), you have to divide by a factor of 10 or 100 to get the values of K. Do not select Exit radiometric.

    If your object is cold, the population of the histogram of the image will be on the left side of it and if the object is hot, the population of the histogram will be on the right side.

    If you want that your values of temperature in degrees Celsius, just add 273.15 Kelvin value.

    Then you can add a color palette in VBAI (iron FLIR is available)

    Hope this helps

  • How to make the false colors on gray-scale image? Are there examples of the imaqSetWindowPalette function?

    Hi ~ I'm using LabWindows/CVI & OR vision. I want to apply false colors on my image of gray, but I don't know how to use the imaqSetWindowPalette() function. Are there examples? or a better idea? Thank you very much ~ ~ ~

    It depends on what you're trying to achieve:

    1 imaqSetWindowPalette() change the palette to display only. This affects the display, but still, the underlying image is grayscale.

    a simple use is:

    {

    const int window = 1;

    Image * image;

    / * retrieve and store your image * /.

    ...

    / * change the palette * /.

    imaqSetWindowPalette (window, IMAQ_PALETTE_BINARY, NULL, 0);

    / * display the image * /.

    imaqDisplayImage (image, window, TRUE);

    }

    as specified in the documentation, the third and the fourth parameter of imaqSetWindowPalette() are used only when the pallet type is set to IMAQ_PALETTE_USER, in this case, you specify the colors you want to use for the display.

    {

    / * declare and fill you the palette * /.

    RGBValue palette [256];

    / * fill your palette here * /.

    palette [0]. R = 0;

    palette [0]. G = 0;

    palette [0]. B = 0;

    .alpha palette [0] = 0;

    palette [1]. R = 255;

    palette [1]. G = 0;

    palette [1]. B = 0;

    palette [1] .alpha = 0;

    / * etc * /.

    / * Use the palette * /.

    imaqSetWindowPalette (range of the window, IMAQ_PALETTE_USER, sizeof (palette) / sizeof (* palette));

    }

    fixed palette, you can also set you palette with an initializer:

    RGBValue palette [256] = {{0,0,0,0}, {255,0,0,0}, {0,255,0,0}}; / * you write 256 color values you want your palette consists of * /.

    2. If you want the palette to be final during the recording of the image with the new applied palette, you can specify the palette in the call to imaqWriteFile().

    3. or you can convert your image to RGB (imaqCast()) then... you're on your own: for some unknown reason, the lookup table in a call to imaqCast() converting grayscale 8 bit RGB is not documented as being used. error in documentation? removal of the deliberate feature? Finally, you can test what happens if you specify one.

    • Press 'Cmd + Shift + R' (MAC)

  • Why LR6 displays all the images in a folder?

    I created a folder named "owls". He had 71 images, and all have been displayed by LR. I added 86 images in the folder outside of LR. These images have been copied in other folders. I asked LR to import images into this folder. All new images are grayed out and when I click on the 'owls' LR folder displays only the 71 original. What I am doing wrong?

    motto of Joseph wrote:

    Yes, the images that I moved into the folder "owls" had already been imported to another folder. If I work outside LR I have a picture of the scares of the towers in its original Desert Museum folder as well as in a second case, i.e. "owls".

    This is the prefect reason why keywords should be used to organize rather than records. You can assign two (or a lot more than two, there is no limit) keywords to the photo. It is one of the strengths of Lightroom! There is no need to duplicate the photo so that it can exist in two folders. There are many disadvantages to duplicate photos.

    Hello

    You have the version of office of MS Reader/Acrobat but posted the question in the wrong forum.  This forum (all communities > Reader/Acrobat DC for mobile) corresponds to the mobile version.

    On your computer Windows, please try to open the PDF document in other non Adobe PDF viewers to see if the image becomes gray.  You can even drag and drop your PDF from Google Chrome (browser) document to open it.

    If most PDF viewers that you have tried to show the grey area, you can conclude that the PDF document (generated by Microsoft Word 2013) itself is defective.  This means that Microsoft Word 2013 bug (s) to convert Word to PDF.

    I recommend you to visit the site of Support of Microsoft Word 2013 to get answers.
