  I saw this same error appear around the web, but none that relate to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (2015) and MS Word 2010. Has anyone encountered this same flaw/message when you try to convert/export a pdf file to MS Word 2010?

  After clicking OK several times (through the above message), the export moves in any case, is there a way to maybe get rid of the messages coming, just to make the conversion to operate?

  As an accompaniment, this isn't a problem with the help of MS Word 2013 with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (2015), but I would like to know if anyone has found a fix work for this export/conversion to Word 2010 (I may be among the masses here with this, but just in case where anyone knows of a fix for this).

  Just recently, after finally getting WLM2011 to at least send an email without crashing, I started now to experience a problem with sending documents as attachments from Word 2010.

  Here's the Windows Help:

  This error can occur if you try to send a Word document as an attachment in Word and the MAPI session was closed and Word is no longer able to connect to that MAPI session. It can also occur if there is a problem with the fax configuration.

  To correct a MAPI to error: restart the MAPI e-mail program (for example, Outlook) or save and close the document, and then restart Word after restarting your MAPI e-mail application. Word will create a new MAPI session, allowing the document to send.

  To fix a problem with the fax configuration, check the configuration of your fax software settings, and then make the appropriate changes.

  Unfortunately, if the WLM is open or closed, the problem persists in Word 2010.  I repaired Word 2010 and repaired WLM several times and the MAPI error is not resolved.

  Is this something in my control panel > default program settings? perhaps.

  It is a chronic problem which has many causes and solutions almost as much. Boredom is often caused by Outlook the musculature to be the default program wherever possible. Different versions of Office do things differently, too. This is a good way to kick off:

  1. Type regedit in the start search box and press enter. Give permission if necessary.
  2. In the left pane, find the key called
     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail
     and click on Mail.
  3. In the right pane, double-click (default). In the dialog that opens, turn off what's there, Windows Live Mail and click on OK.
  4. In the left pane, click the subkey called Windows Live Mail
     (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Windows live mail)
  5. In the right pane, look for DLLPath in the name column.
     If she's not here,
     1. Right-click on an empty part of the right pane, and then select New > string value
     2. Type DLLPath to name the new value and press enter

• Images when importing Word 2010 files

  I'm having a problem with importing Word 2010 files in InDesign CS5.5 and I was wondering if someone here could help. A quick trawl of the web has allowed to discover no solution.

  Even if I use the "Importing Options" Panel by bringing back the file in and I'm very careful about what I select, Word insists on dragging in a whole extra load of frames. Some are text boxes placed on the flow of the main text, but others are empty. Even if I deselect the option 'import inserted graphics"they appear again. If someone knows what they are? I think that the power be something to do with placed graphics, but they are really one heck of a size. All I want is the main body of the text and tables. I know that I could save the Word file in text format and import that (and I do), but we had a time setting long match paragraph / character styles between our Word and InDesign files and put effort in which is now lost.

  I'm sure I used to be able to bring all the text, tables and styles that I wanted in the old days - nobody knows what is happening?

  My guess is there is something in the word file that is too large for the text block and he won't have in excess. Take a look at the story in editor mode and see what happens.

  Hello world. My problem goes like this:

  I have about 1000 pages of a book in several files, PageMaker 7.0 (1 Chapter per file).

  I converted the ID5 files and now I need to export the text and images to get a Word file for each chapter of the book.

  The goal is a major revision/modification.

  Eack chapter has a lot of pictures placed inline which flows with the text.

  What I need, it is to put in the word files in a way that would make life easier for the people who will make changes to the text, but want to see the images (in the resolution of the screen).

  I have no problem exporting the text in ID 5 (rtf files).

  Any ideas to put the images on the Word file without having to do, at least, screenshots with Snagit and manually place a representation of images, one by one, in each of the Word files?

  Not sure how the captions of images can be found in this discussion, but I'm guessing a confusion of language.

  Essentially my application works as follows:

  It gathers a list of all open documents and their stories, and all graphics in the stories. Each chart is checked to ensure that it is bound (not integrated) is "inline" (not floating) and gives a warning if there is a problem.

  

  Once activated, it finds all the inline graphics,

  

  Removes and replaces it with the full path to the linked file, wrapped in the double < and=""> symbols. I use this model of symbol because it is never used in our equipment.

  

  The stories are then exported to rtf files, and all documents are closed (without registration).

  Exported stories are then open in Word and each placeholder is by using <*>>, this gives the location of the image, and the path can be extracted from the content to find. The chart is inserted, replace the text of space booked and repeated until there are no more results. There may be an easier way to do this bit, but this work for me.

  A Word version of InDesign styles are merged from a model Word separate file to fix other incompatibilities of page layout.

  Then, the files are saved as Word files.

  The application performs some functions also more going on in the background as well to compensate for the problems of compatibility between the InDesign and Word styles.

  All this is done with a combination of AppleScript and Javascript. You should be able to achieve the same thing with Visual Basic.

  I bought a HP Color Laserjet CM1312 and plugged on my 32 bit Windows 7 PC. Of course, I downloaded the newes of HP drivers. Then, I wrote a text in Microsoft Office Word 2010. Parts of the text in red. When I printed this text, all the text was black and white. No color.

  Also, when I print PDF documents with colored text or grafics, it is printed in black and white.

  When I include an image in color in my word document, then the image is printed in color, but not the text.

  How can I solve this problem.

  The problem has been resolved with the HP PS universal print (v5.1) printer driver.

  After several hours of a kind of obstacle course, I come to the conclusion that HP is

  wonderful printers

  but poor software .

• Gray lines during the conversion of Word 2010 images in pdf format

  With the new Acrobat X 1 version, I encountered a problem whenever I try to convert images on a Word 2010 document in PDF format.  While all the lines on the document are black, many lines including bubble-notes appear very light gray and hard to read.  I searched for months for a solution without a bit of luck, and I tried other computers with different versions to check that it was not only my machine.

  Y at - it a specific setting I need to change during the conversion to keep the black lines black instead of this weird gray problem?  See below, for example.

  Thank you for the answers.  I found the problem, it was just a simple menu option.

  Under Edition > Preferences, I sailed on the Display tab Page and disabled "smoothed art" under the section of rendering.  It seems that solved the problem.
