IMAQdx unknown error 80040217

Hello

I have a USB camera (Logitech c920), I want to use in a LabVIEW application.

I have LabVIEW 2011 SP1 with developer Vision 2011 and IMAQdx 4.3.5 installed on both 64-bit Windows 7 computers.

The installation of the system is AFAIK identical.

The camera works fine on both computers using third party software.

On the first computer I can find the NI Max camera and TAKE a picture.

On the second computer, I can find the camera, but the NOD gives me the error:

Error 0 x 80040217

An unknown error code was met.

Repoeated attempts to WINK, I get the error:

Error 0 x 80004005

An unknown error code was met.

If I try to create a LabVIEW program, where I use the "Snap.vi", I get the following error:

Error 2147220969 occurred at IMAQdx configure Acquisition.vi
This error code is not set.

I checked the version of 'IMAQdx.llb' and 'niimaqdx.dll' are the same.

Can someone help me understand what is the difference between my two computers and why Snap works on one and not the other.

Thanks for reading!

Hello Oksavik,

BlueCheese is just that it's not a mistake NOR but an error generated from Windows or, more likely, from the Logitech driver. You said in the other post on the forum that the camera works in your Logitech software, but it is possible that MAX or LabVIEW are trying to charge the device with different initial settings that might be causing the problem. I found a few things that you can try:

This translated forum post went through the same troubleshooting steps, I recommend you:

http://translate.Google.co.in/translate?hl=en&SL=FR&u=http: / / forums.ni.com/ni/board/message%3Fmessag...

It ended up being that the USB cable was not compatible. The other steps listed, reinstall the driver, reinstalling IMAQdx, etc. would be not good to try as well.

BlueCheese manages these types of errors all the time:

http://forums.NI.com/T5/machine-vision/error-0x80040217-the-error-code-passed-into-imgShowError-is/m...

Some of his suggestions, it would be interesting to study.

Have you ever tried these troubleshooting tips?

Follow these steps to see if the problem is with your USB cable, a USB port or computer. Try again after each step:

    1. Use the USB cable supplied with your device. If you do not, try a different cable USB Apple.
    2. Switch to a different USB port on your computer. Do not connect on your keyboard.
    3. Plug it into another computer.
    4. If you still see the error, you can check for any other problem USB, with the third-party security softwareand the problems with hardware.

  • problem with update of apps - ann unknown error occurred 11503

Almost daily when I try to update my IOS apps in iTunes I get error - ' could purchase < app > an unknown error has occurred. There was an error in the iTunes store' with error 11503. This is the case most of the time but not all the time. If I try again later, I am sometimes able to update applications. I check the status of the iTunes store and it shows no problem. I log out and back in iTunes (last verse.) and it does not help. The solution is to make the app on the device (iPhone, with the latest IOS) updates. There's other light this or you will suggest fix?

I know with iOS9 that apple went to a more direct service provider device app store. The main difference was you could are no longer synchronized apps from a device to iTunes, but you could still make it on the other hand, as well as download on iTunes. With "thinning" each device has received a version customized for a specific application for the model of the device but if you downloaded iTunes no thinning version was as long as it works on any iOS hardware. It is in itself would not explain your experience, but I wonder if it is somehow connected and perhaps it is not a version not cleared up (wild guess)?

  • "Sync has encountered an error during synchronization: unknown error." Synchronize automatically retrying this action. »

    Hello

I want to switch to Chrome, Firefox, but I have a problem with the synchronization feature.
It always displays the following error message: ' Sync has encountered an error during synchronization: unknown error. " Synchronize automatically retrying this action. »

I already tried this work around, but it did not work: remove my account from syncing, completely reset my Firefox profile, import my favorites of Chrome (using an HTML file), set up a new sync account (using the same e-mail address then that previously deleted).
But I still get the error message.

I saw in other threads that could be a problem with the story, so I also tried to delete, but it doesn't work anymore.

Here is my last sync-log file: https://pastebin.mozilla.org/8219943

    Thanks for your help.

I finally found a solution to this problem of synchronization:

I downloaded the add-on 'Housekeeping' and run the integrity check routine, and it seems to have solved the problem.

  • Firefox Sync: Unknown error

I get an "unknown error" in Firefox Sync on my two computers. Here are the most recent error log:

    http://pastebin.com/17HCcAzu

With the help of Pastebin, because the log exceeds the limit of 10,000 characters.

    These stand out:
    1412074958242 Status.login Sync.Status DEBUG: error.login.reason.no_username = > error.login.reason.no_recoverykey
    1412074958242 Status.service Sync.Status DEBUG: service.client_not_configured = > service.client_not_configured

I think you may be affected by an old key recovery being stored. Is is possible to delete the account temporarily and connect to synchronize once more?

  • Unknown error when you try to configure Firefox Sync

I'm trying to set up Firefox Sync, but I fill my email address on the first line I first the message 'invalid email account' (or similar), but then when I continue to fill with [email protected] he says just "unknown error." I tried several different e-mail addresses on two different computers, but the same boring unknown error message keeps coming up.
What am I supposed to do about it?

You can try to reset the preferences of synchronization on the topic: config page.

Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.
