iMessage is not using cells. None

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, I have an iphone 6 64 GB iOS 9.3.2,and on MTN (South Africa)... my imessage refuses to activate (send email and no cell no.), tried the wifi thing, restore, restart several times, nothing seems to work... it's not imessages to my cell. appear on my macbook and iwatch, but not on my phone, so it's a little just not where it matters most, not entirely sure how to solve this online support said I need to contact my ISP, but apparently they have no provisions to help about this... So Apple is direct me to MTN, and MTN directing me to the apple support... honestly, waited more than two service providers.

You did that, on each device, only a unique e-mail address is selected in settings/Messages/send / receive?

On your phone only the phone number must be checked, no other e-mail address.

Some other devices, no phone number is TICKING on the Mac and watch.

    Good questions. I can speculate only at this stage. I guess that since it is updated by BB, they use a revision update for all devices to facilitate management. AT & T updates their different, since they have different methods of approval (Note T-mobile even updated as unlocked devices). Unless you want to get specific version of AT & T that could fix something that the other version does not work, I'd wait for the OTA. I did three refills of OS because I couldn't OTA of AT & T, and they take a lot of time. Take the time then to restore and to reconfigure all the settings you had before. Not funny.

    To be more precise questions. Depends on you, but for me, would be updated via OTA only now that it's available. Yes, if you want auto charger, use AT & t. even as before, wait for OTA, unless you have a specific automotive need load the operating system.

    Hello rjlasser, first of all please make sure that none of your extensions is the origin of the problem (some circumvention of censorship of youtube addons do also use proxies for example).

  • iMessage/Facetime not to activate iPhone 5s

    Hey guys,.

    I gave my mom my old iPhone 5s to upgrade its iPhone 4S. While trying to activate iMessage or Facetime (using mobile phone) - activation fails. It is said 'Activation' and in 1 minute, it fails. I contacted my operator Vodafone Romania and they have confirmed that number of iMessage is not blocked and even reset some settings of my network at their end. Always the same question.

    If during the 1 minute the "activation" appears under the iMessage/Facetime activation code I choose ' use my apple ID to send iMessage/Facetime ", I get my credentials for appleID and I press activate it if sits for about 1 minute, trying to"activate using my credentials"and then fails.

    My questions are:

    1. his old iPhone 4S is not called factory. I just out of the sim card, replaced by a SIM from nano and placed in the iphone 5 s. Y at - it a mistake to activation by using his phone number because the apple servers see that same phone number has been used to activate his previous phone? (I disabled imessage and facetime on iphone 4S now)

    2. is there a number of devices that I am allowed to have use my appleID? Or use facetime/imessages with? I have 3 iphones (2 in fact, since 1 is the old iphone 4S) and 1 iPad.

    3. I already tried resetting the iphone and connected to itunes, tried to activate 4 g network using appleID on wifi and more. Any other place on the iphone5S where I get my credentials of appleid work - but not for facetime or imessage. You have any other suggestions for me to try?

    I just checked with my carrier again. There are 20 + messages sent in the imessage Center, and they have all been charged. Is there a problem with the apple servers? The number of messages have been sent to is:

  • Contact ID forget the fingers after 12 hours of not used

    So I had my parents a nice Air 2 iPad with cellular data, a very good product.  The three of us each added that a finger and touch ID worked incredibly for several hours.  However the next day it would not remember neither my mom or dad.  He remembered my thumb, but then that stopped working a few hours later.

    We each added a finger several times.  However, the model is the same.  The Touch ID forget our fingers after about 12-24 hours of not used.

    My brother seems to have no problem with his iPhone 6s.  Its feature is also running iOS 9.1.

    I conjectured that perhaps the problem was that Touch ID did not like several people using the feature to unlock the device even.

    Anyway... now that I have, exclusively, have been using my new iPad (cell) Pro my theory is different.

    The drawing is the same... Contact ID works fine immediately after the addition of a finger, but overnight stops working.

    My current theory is that it works better with the phone and iPad because iPhone users tend to use their devices more continuous than iPad users.

    (at least my parents and myself) iPad users often leave the unused and locked iPad for 12 to 48 hours...

    I think that Touch ID requires frequent use to recycle permanently for the fingers "added".

    Maybe, maybe iOS 9.1 is bug in what concerns the contact ID.  Perhaps a future update may solve the problem.

    Or maybe, simply the cell iPad version has this issue.

    All things considered, I'm not discouraged by these products that they are worth every penny.

    FaceTime with iPad Air and Pro is an amazing experience.

    Firstly, your computer probably uses an Intel or AMD processor.  Only programs using the Intel instruction set have any prayer running on your PC.  A cell phone probably uses an ARM or Tegra processor with a set of instructions completely different.  There was no physical way for a cell phone application run on a PC.

    Second, your cell phone likely does not implement any type of SMB shares, so there is no way that a PC will be able to see it as a device which can be accessed on the network.

    Thirdly, the display on the PC hardware is completely different from that of the phone.  The application on the phone will include the PC hardware and be able to communicate with the PC drivers in order to interact with the PC hardware.  It is simply not possible with a cell phone application, written for the touch screen.

    In the old days, you could 'bookmark' the disk sectors bad so that they would not be used.

    Today, the disk is managed by a microcontroller on the disc itself, and this microcontroller keeps track of bad sectors and "swap in" good areas from a pool of reserve.   It works fine as long as there are the areas left in the reserve pool.

    But while "reserve pool" is exhausted, the OS will debit the long and happily trying to write in bad sectors.

    So my question is: are there tools out there for Windows which can be used to scan the drive and "allocate" bad sectors in a hidden file so that the OS does not seek to write (or read) the?

    Please, keep the suggestions on getting a new drive etc.  It's free revival of the good old laptops to use for non-critical tasks.

    I recently used a small tool called RepartitionBadDrive to do exactly what you need: create separate partitions for bad sectors (just a click away). There were no hidden, but you can remove the drive letters in windows disk management so the partitions will disappear from my computer. Write me if you need help!     Windows speech recognition supports only dictated full text in programs that use what is called the "Text Services Framework" to implement text editing features. Most of browsers besides IE use something else, if only the most rudimentary speech features work.

    Your options:

    • Use Internet Explorer.
    • Plug-ins: in Firefox, you should be able to use IEtab plug-in operate by implementing the plug-in so that IE is used to view the pages in Firefox Gmail dictation. It is possible that there is an equivalent of plug-in for Chrome.

    (You can make requests to software publishers: 1) that Microsoft supports more text programming implementations in the Windows speech recognition and 2.) browser companies support the Text Services Framework.

    Each call and the end point that enter or exit the VCs will have 1 license appeal.  What determines the type of license, either Non-traversal or crossing is less (confirmed by the help guide).

    Calls of traversal VCS: VCS standard video or audio calls, including business-to-business calls, B2BUA calls (for encryption of the media or ice) and interoperability or sent through gateway calls to third-party solutions where the VCS as well takes the call signaling and media of the call. Each call consumes a license of traversal appeal.

    VCS non-traversal calls: here's the VCS standard video or audio calls where the traffic goes through VCS, but the media passes directly between the endpoints, or between an endpoint and another system in the direction of the call. Each call consumes a license non-traversal call. Note that Lync B2BUA calls are classified as non-traversal is called (even if media cross the VCS).
