  Help!  I love editing videos on my iPhone 6, but suddenly when I try to edit a film in the folder "projects" on my phone, I get an error message everytime that says "some of the videos in this project must be uploaded to the cloud."  Fine.  Very good-not much, I received this message before.  But it's almost every element in the montage, and worse yet... they never end downloaded, so I can't access it.  I'm not talking that they download even when I leave it alone overnight.

  I've looked everywhere I can think of is somehow cloud-ish (?) nothing works.  I do not know where are these clips and why this is happening now, when he has never before.  At this point I didn't even care - I want to just download the clips and store them on my phone instead of the cloud, so I can end this very sensitive time in video editing.

  Thanks for your question.  Looks like you have videos that are not stored on your iPhone that you want to edit with iMovie for iOS.  You have iCloud library enabled with the option "optimize"?  If so, the videos are stored in iCloud instead of on your device to save space.

  iCloud photo library

  iCloud photo library automatically keep each photo and video you take in iCloud, so you can access your library from any device, anytime you want. And any changes made to your collection on a single device, change on other devices.

  iCloud library keeps all your photos and videos in their version original high resolution. You can save space on your device when you turn on the storage optimize.

  On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

  1. Go into settings.
  2. Tap on iCloud > Photos.
  3. Choose [device] Optimize storage.

  Video clips or photos in your photo library from iCloud, but not on your device are displayed in the video library of browser and media with an icon of clouds . Pressing the video clip or picture it downloads in the library of photos on your device.

  Open Safari while holding the SHIFT key

  Try to reset the settings of Safari:

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select Preferences

  4. find the Extensions tab

  5 disable all extensions of

  6. relaunch Safari

  I looked around, but can't seem to find any color basic ranking of options in iMovie for iOS.  I expect something similar on the photo settings menu, where you can change the brightness, contrast, Saturation, etc..  All I see are filters, which seems to assume the video that I am importing already has a perfect color.  I would prefer not to have to buy a third-party app part just to adjust the levels in my videos.

  I am running El Capitan and the Apple Store has an update for Yosemite Beta 4 for me to download.  Is this a feature or a bug?

  Hello everyone, just curious. I see in the release notes for ISE 1.2.X that support for Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) was available via patch 12 on the train ISE1.2.0 of the code. That said, I see nothing in the release notes indicating support for Yosemite for any patches for ISE1.2.1, the latter being patch 3 released 1 week after ISE 1.2.0 patch 12. Please can someone tell if Yosemite is based in fact on 1.2.1 with patch 3?

  OS X 10.10 is supported in ISE 1.2 p11, 1.2.1 p2 and 1.3.

  Patch 12 for 1,2 and 3 Patch 1.2.1 fix other issues for OS X 10.10, and I recommend you to update on the latest patches for these fixes.

  Here is the entry in the Release Notes detailing the fix for 10.10 to 1.2 p 12:

  

  MacOsXAgent versrion 4.9.5.3 should be used and MacOsXSPWizard 1.0.0.30

  

  Note that the description of these files refer to ISE 1.2 Patch 11/12, ISE 1.3 release and above.  ISE 1.2.1 is not mentioned, but follows the calendar bug fix and version 1.2, with an adjustment.

  I just opened iMovie on my iPad that Pro for the first time and the media browser show not only everything (photos or movies) in my camera roll. Probably, "operator error" but I have tried everything I can think of without success. Any suggestion?

  I had a similar problem, but disable the zoom of the screen set in my case.

  Settings > general > display / brightness > zoom display > (set it to standard).

  I just got a MacBook A1181 and as a new Mac user, I have a few questions.

  The latest version of Yosemite was 10.10.5. If you download the installer of your purchases tab, it will be a full installer for 10.10.5.

  If you have an earlier version of Yosemite, use the software update feature, or download the installer to update drop-down list in the support area of the Apple web site. Drop means that it includes all interim updates.

  If you try to get El Capitan, this isn't an update it's an upgrade. You download the program installer using the app from the App Store. The current version will install 10.11.3, the latest version.

  I made a slideshow with music for my school (I'm a teacher) and when I tried to load the film into Adobe to make a DVD of it to the graduation, the file is extended by more than a minute, and so the audio ends early even if the same file works perfectly to QuickTime. I spent the last six hours, trying to change the framerate and save the file in another way. I tried to use the adobe encoder to see if this would help but it lengthens the file of the same amount in this program too. It is true, I don't know tonnes about this video stuff, so I'd appreciate it if you can really spell things for me. Thank you!

  Second, what MIGHT happen is that your original file from iMovie uses a Variable rate, which does not work in first/still

  I have been using iMovie and want to upgrade to Premiere Elements.  What is the best way to transfer videos to iMovie at first?

  The best way to migrate a project a program NLE (of Non-linear editing), on the other, if there is no built-in function, such as OMF (used by PrPro to migrate all of the project in any other NLE, as GREEDY, etc.), is to export one file, the other able to import and edit smooth NLE. On a Mac, an example of this would be a MOV with the Animation CODEC. Then just import the output file, in a new project, which corresponds to the form. the output file.

  With FCP, there are a few CODEC which does not load on a PC, and some that don't work THAN if one has of the FCP installed on this machine. I do not know of the CODEC used in iMovie, but a little research should produce these options. As long as the CODEC used from iMovie is one that meadow can change with, you should be fine.

  Now, there are two ways to go about the export of a timeline for additional editing:

  1. Must be cut very tight, with Transitions, etc., that you want to use. Basically, this will be a video, just need to touch up a little 'finished '.
  2. The other is to change in a very vague way, do not prune each Clip a lot, leaving enough handles, to make the final trim forwards and then add Transitions and effects.
