  The ePrint application is officially compatible with iOS 6 and later, so technically you should be able to use all of its features without problem and without having to update your iOS.

  Try the following steps:

  • Powercycle your iPad.  In addition, make sure that you do not have many applications running in the background.  Be sure to close all except the HP ePrint app when you try the configuration of email to the breast.
  • I recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the application.  After that, you encounter the same problem? Click here to re-download the app.

  If so, an iOS update wouldn't hurt, as they tend to ensure best performance with major versions app.  My opposition to perform an update of iOS is to make sure you are either backup iCloud iTunes and making sure that you save your photos directly to a PC, Mac, or somewhere on the cloud to avoid loss of data.

  Alternatively, there is another way, you can quickly print emails from your iPad.  Simply to transmit all electronic messages that are newly created or existing directly to the address @hpeprint.com of your printer.

  I use my HP Office Jet quite successfully for 2 years with no problems at all.  But this week, there were problems with my connection Internet does not properly.  Verizon has sent a repairman, and he said that I need a new modem/router, so it installed the newest model from Verizon Internet broadband.  I had no idea how much this was going to cause me trouble.

  So far, I have used my wireless printer and realized I had to imput the new information for the wi - fi to connect properly.  Well, I have found no way to do it, unless I configured the printer since the beginning.

  I uninstalled my printer, removed from my list of devices, shut down your computer, insert the installation disc in the DVD player, hooked up the printer using the USB cable, following the instructions on, then start the computer.

  Nothing... My computer has never nothing hung

  I called HP and bought a new cable, thinking that something must be a problem with the one I had.  Nothing...

  My printer is turned on and physically connected to my computer, and it is not recognized for some reason any.  And until it is, I can't use it at all.

  OK, I have my printer doesn't work, but it has been a nightmare on the whole trip.

  I called Verizon (my ISP), and one of their tech support people showed me how to put in specific settings using the control panel directly on the front of the printer. In the original configuration, I didn't need to use it, but during the installation of the cartridges and others, so I had no prior knowledge to the configuration layout of the Wi - fi network. AND HE DID!

  I hope that I have never go through this nightmare of 6 days again. I am happy that I have persisited and has not abandoned because I was only a few seconds to screw up this printer, my patients to its full stop.  How I accidentally came across this list of "Network devices" I'll never know.   I tried since and now can not find once again, so if someone knows this information, I would be happy if I can write down it for future reference.  Without it, I still would not be able to print.

  Click START > device and printer > add a printer > add a local printer >

  Select "Use existing Port" then Virtual USB from the drop-down menu, click on NEXT, in the production list, select HP / Hewlett-packard and in the right pane, select Deskjet 6980 and finish the wizard

  First make sure you have the driver of Fax installed in devices and printers and then when you go to send a fax from the printing application make sure you designate fax HP Officejet 4500 G510 driver. When you tap on print you get the fax to the step 3 dialog box.

  My hp 4500 wireless printer worked fine until it just stopped printing.  I reintstalled the original installation disk and printing has been repaired.  However, the desktop icon for the hp Solution Center, which allows scanning of computer files, has not been activated, and accordingly, I am unable to scan from glass.

  New driver from HP site could not install completely and still have the same problem.  I tried to reinstall the existing drive, and it is still able to print, but still can not sweep.  The desktop icon is always off.  Didn't test the fax.

  I have here an updated driver that contains the implementation complete for the 4500 Wireless: G510n-z

  My system is Windows 7 64 bit.

  I would like to see if I can help you get your Officejet 4500 Wireless software working again.

  Looks like pieces of old software is causing the installation to fail. I would like to clean at the far (unisntall) and try again.

  When you have uninstalled the printer software, it is possible that pieces of it may remain which could interfere with a reinstall. I recommend referencing the steps described in this document to make sure that you haven't missed anything whatsoever; Uninstalling the printer software. * If you are connected with a USB cable, be sure to unplug it.

  You can also delete files using disk cleanup - take care to put check marks in selection boxes when it is available.

  Software drivers can hide other places would be in your device manager.

  To open Device Manager:
  ' 1) click on start (Windows icon) and enter the Device Manager "in the search field.
  2) click on Device Manager.
  (3) you can click on View, in the upper windows and then show hidden devices.
  (4) to develop the types of devices and check for any pilot associated with your printer.
  (5) to remove a device from Device Manager, right click on the device name in the list and then click on uninstall.

  For more information, see device for Windows 7 Manager information.

  Once you have removed everything, I restart your computer and then try to download the new software again to HP Officejet 4500 Wireless - G510n full feature software and driver.

  I have a HP Officejet 4500 desktop computer.  I just finished with the CD that came with it.  I then put in the USB cord and he said: it is not connected.  Please help me.

  I really did a lot of research here to the course of action to take following the easier to understand.  In Windows 7, the menu options start to activate the USB connection in a wireless is easy to find. In Windows 8, it is quite difficult to find.  If this does not work, you have more chance to uninstall and reinstall the printer if you don't have any options to scan.  Here is my suggestion:

  1. first of all, try to scan using the HP Solution Center.  You can have the printer icons two on the left side of the solution Center.  Ensure the right one is selected and you are trying to scan.  If this fails, record the error here for me please.

  2 to get the Setup menu, press the Windows key and the letter R to get the run of pop up screen.

  3. type in programdata % and in this folder click Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > programs > HP.  Here you see "Add a printer" or "set up wireless?  That's how you get to the second part of the installation at the prompt is displayed to add a wireless printer.

  Hello, yes thank you for asking... I tried all the above suggestions and nothing worked.
  We recently spent internet suppliers of century link to comcast and it just randomly started working again when we started to use the comcast modem.
  I know that this problem seems to appear right around the time of an update of iOS, but at the same time our century link modem is dead and we went to Walmart to get a new one and I also wonder if that had anything to do with the problem. I share this in case it might help someone else. Thanks again. : )

  Using a Macbook pro laptop computer with a wireless router and try to implement it with the HP ENVY 4500 wireless.  The printer has an error showing on the LED screen OXB05BB254 code.  I went through the procedure of download from the HP Web site.  It is said that the wireless network settings have been correctly downloaded to the printer. However, your MAC could not locate the device on the network.  It's my wifes computer and I'm not too familiar with a Mac.  The laptop and the printer are connected to the same wireless network, and there is an icon of the HP ENVY 4500 appear on the screen. I don't know why the mac can't find the printer or what means the error on the printer code. I don't know how to ask the computer to do another search for the printer, or what to do at this point.   I guess that the problem is related with the wireless network.

  Please try the steps below.

  Power off the printer, while it is powered. Power to the router.

  Wait 60 seconds

  Turn on the printer, make a copy (black) now power on the wireless router.

  If the problem persists, you may need to call ISP to change the settings of your router that is mentioned below.

  Channel = 11, Frequenct = 2.4, check for any updates for the router.
