  If you sign out of Gmail you should offer the possibility to keep your contacts, this should move to "on my phone" account, if you login to iCloud and allow contacts, you should get an option to merge.

  There are different applications. It also depends on where (in which program), your contacts are backed up.

  There is no "Google App Sync" that works with the latest versions of Outlook. I'm not sure if you can directly sync contacts with this app, or if it goes over google's servers.

  For our phones, I used "MyPhoneExplorer". This app is free for PC and Android sync (not only) contacts directly between the PC software (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Lotus, MyPhoneExplorer internal) and some android devices. Either your tablet. Synchronization can be done via WiFi. Thap app comes also with own icons for tasks and notes, and allows to synchronize the calendar as well (if a calendar is present on the Tablet).

  Don't forget to backup your PC Contacts before the first synchronization, however.

  MOVE SEVERAL OUTLOOK 2010 CONTACTS FOR iPHONE

  Step 1: In Outlook, create the vcf files (Variant call Format), which are text files also known as the digital business cards and send them to your own e-mail address. To do this, select all the Outlook contacts you want, right-click on it and select 'Front Contact' sharing group, and then select "as a calling card."

  Step 2: Outlook will create cards individual vcf for each of your contacts as attachments to an email.  Send e-mail and files to your own e-mail address.

  Step 3: Create a folder to contain the individual vcf files, for example c:\vcfcards.

  Step 4: Open the e-mail you sent to yourself in Outlook and save all the vcf attached files in the c:\vcfcards folder (file, save attachments, OK, select the vcfcards folder, do not enter a file name).

  Step 5: Now open the command prompt window (in Windows 10 right click Start, and then select command prompt).

  Step 6: At the command prompt, type cd c:\vcfcards.  Press ENTER to continue. Your command prompt is now moved to the vcfcards folder.

  Step 7: Now merge the multiple vcf files in the vcfcards file in a single vcf file.

  At the command prompt, type: copy /a *.vcf c:\all.vcf and then press ENTER.

  Step 8: Create another e-mail and join the newly created file all.vcf .

  Send e-mail to your address (if Outlook is set to download files from the server immediately, close Outlook after the email is sent, thereby ensuring that the email will arrive on the cell phone).

  Step 9: Get your iPhone and read the e-mail from there.

  Open the vcf file you created and attached to the email and press Add all Contacts.

  If there are several groups of contacts in Outlook, the process can be repeated for each group.  File names above could be changed to reflect the group names.  However, it will be a group merged on the iPhone.

  I had Google for several years and have had g-mail as well.  I used to be able to click on gmail on my home page and it would do well for it.  Very convenient.  Then, they insisted that I sign and return every time I left gmail.  It was very awkward because I work on my computer almost all day and check my e-mail regularly.  I would write the password but the next time, it didn't work.  I tried to be more careful, but again and again I had to declare that I forgot my password (I don't believe it).  Soon, I had a whole bunch of passwords to choose from, and none of them would work.  In the end, I was locked up for several days.  They shall notify me by gmail when I can reset my password.  They locked me - how can I read my mail?  So I want to change to Hotmail.  How can I import my contacts?

  If you have contacts in Outlook that you want visible in Hotmail, you can install Outlook Hotmail Connector and open your Hotmail account in Outlook.  Then you can simply copy your contacts from the default Contacts folder in the folder of Hotmail Contacts.

  Once Word hangs, it leaves corruption behind him. When Word opens it creates a large number of hidden temporary files. When the file is closed, they are no longer needed and are closed. However, if Word crashes and fails to recover, these temporary files are left behind and can cause problems or prevent you re-opening your document, or failed to start.

  Using Windows Explorer, look in the Windows temp folder. It is most likely in C:\Windows\Temp or : \Documents and Settings\Settings\Temp, unless you have moved to another location.  You can safely remove everything in this folder. Windows does not allow you to delete anything actually being used, so you may have to restart to release the locked files.

  You will need to search for additional files that begin with ~$*.do* and delete them. Temporary files are usually hidden then click on advanced options and select the option search for hidden files. You need to configure Explorer to show hidden files and the extensions of the file types that you want to know (Tools > Folder Options).

  Repeat the search in places where you store your Word documents, by default the Documents folder and subfolders that you may have created some files named *.tmp.

  Then try again and see if you can import your contact addreesses successfully.

  My HP Pre 3 will EXPORT all THE CONTACTS in a single .vcf file that contains all the... .is this is useful for the Passport, I have not yet? either I'll be able to get this file on the Passport & use to IMPORT all contacts to it?  Insofar as I have time, I would prepare, otherwise another way unless this should work fine... I think that other models of phones may also perform such EXPORT so the answer may prove useful to other institutions...
