Import emails .ics calendar events

I recently updated my 5 c to 10 IOS iPhone and I can't import all events in a calendar .ics file into the standard calendar from an email app.

Previously in older IOS, the method was:

1. open email with the .ics file.

2. tap on the file in .ics to display a list of events.

3. scroll to the bottom of events and press 'Add all' and then select the calendar to which events are to be added.

Nothing is more a ' add all ' button. I tried to add events one at a time, but appears not to half of the working time.

I met the same problem.  I tested this by creating a file ICS w / calendar (version 8) on my Mac OS X (el capitan 10.11.6) then sent me.

Using the default e-mail program, I can see the file but cannot add them both.  Is there another way, we are supposed to do now?

  • Copy the calendar to another calendar events

    I have a calendar on my PC with some events in private. I recently added in a radical opposition based calendar hosted on my network. Now, I try to copy my own calendar events in this calendar on the Web, but I can't make it work properly. When I select a calendar, select events and the copy, and then select the other calendar and deselect the old one and paste it, it ignores the selected calendars and just puts it into my old.
    But when I disable (not only unselection) my only old and paste then, it sticks the events in the new calendar. But their info is messed up, he turns off the names of most of the events, and even the times are not correct, seems as if the Yearnumber was put at 55 in the future for some strange reason.

    Is it possible to correctly copy a bunch of events to another calendar in lightning?

    Right click on the calendar in the left pane - private export.
    Save it as an .ics file.

    Then import the saved file:
    Import events and tasks (Alt - N)-

    You will be asked for the target calendar:
    Which calendar you want to import these items in?

    See if it works better.

  • How to delete all calendar events?

    Ignoring the gory details, I have a need, on a daily basis, to remove all of the events on my calendar from Apple, so I can import a new series of events.

    I am currently using Google Calendar because it's a simple process it. I raise my calendar in my browser, go to settings > calendars > [my calendar], click on 'delete all events... '. ", then click on confirm. Simple. So I can import the ICS file with the new series of events, and I'm done. The new events are then available on my laptop and my mobile devices.

    I would like to use Apple/iCloud calendar rather than the Google Calendar, but I can't find a way to remove all my events it's as simple as that.  Any suggestions?

    You can manually delete an event from the main presentation of the calendar view, or you can set calendar preferences to hide the events automatically.

    To delete an event, click the event that you want to select and press the BACKSPACE or DELETE key.

    If invite you any person to the event or if it belongs to a shared calendar, a window pops up giving you the opportunity to inform the participants about the cancellation.

    To automatically hide past events, click on the Action pop-up menu in the sidebar, and then choose Preferences. In the Advanced pane, select "Hide n-days events after that they went", and enter the number of days.

    If you've accidentally deleted iCloud calendars or events, you can use iCloud.com to restore, as well as reminders, an earlier version which has been automatically archived in iCloud.

  • Calendar events shows is not in the center of Notifications

    I have an iPhone running on iOS 9.3.5 5s

    I have problems with my notification Center, events calendar, weather summary, view today does not show in the notification Center.

    PS All widgets are activated from the notification Center.

    Hello goodguy17,

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding from your calendar events and other widgets are not appearing in the Notification Center on your iPhone. The Notification Center keeps me abreast of all my appointments and important updates, I can understand your concern. I want to help get this resolved with you.

    First of all, I recommend you restart your iPhone. A simple reboot can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow the steps below to restart if necessary.

    1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
    3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

    Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    If the problem persists, reset all the settings would be the next option. It takes all the settings back to default, including: Wi - Fi networks and passwords, alerts, notifications, brightness, wallpaper and sounds. Even if no content is lost with this step, it is always a good idea to back up your content first. If you need help with the backup using the link below.

  • Update IOS 9.3.1 iPhone 6s has lost the email/contacts/calendar

    I have iPhone 6 s.  9.3 9.3.1 update last night.  Today my phone crashed, turn walk, walk and finally got it, but contacts, all e-mail and calendar accounts are gone.  Apps seem to be there.  Problem started when I connected my iPhone to the computer via usb, just load, and got the message asking I wanted to be able to access photos of this computer.  I answered 'yes '.  iPhone started acting wacky while it is still connected to the computer.

    I've just saved on computer 2 days ago and tried to restore from a backup, but said backup was corrupt or not compatible with the current ios.  My work email connects via Outlook Office365, who has my contacts, calendar and important emails.  Just re - can I set up my email accounts and recover by Office365?  Any suggestions?  Help!

    If the backup is corrupt, you will have no choice but to restore the phone like new and set up from scratch, a tedious process.

  • Import Windows Live calendar to Windows Calendar

    I've been using Windows Live Calendar, and I have a lot of data stored there. However, I would like to sync it with Windows Calendar offline so that I can use my calendar when offline. Of course, I want to save the time it takes to create the same calendar manually. How can I import a calendar calendar W WL? THX

    Hi cheetah_akela,

    I'm sorry to know that you still have the problem.

    When you find an option to save the file (calendar.ics), save it to your desktop and try to import.

    The file must have the extension .ics. Other extensions are not supported by Windows and Windows Live Calendar calendar.

    The fastest way to import a calendar is simply double-click the calendar file to import. When you double-click a calendar file, the import window opens.

    1. click on the button import and the calendar that you just imported appears in the calendars section.

    2. the import window opens and you must navigate to the location of the file to be imported, calendar (for example: C:\user\username\Desktop\calendar.ics)

    3 select it. Click Open, and then click the import button.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • C++ or integration of QML calendar event creation

    Hello

    I am currently trying to add calendar event creation integration in my application.

    I started using QML create here

    actions: [
            ActionItem {
                title: qsTr("Add To Calendar")
                imageSource: "asset:///IMG/ic_add_entry.png"
                ActionBar.placement: ActionBarPlacement.OnBar

                onTriggered: {
                    invokeCalendar.trigger("bb.action.CREATE")
                }
            }
        ]
        attachedObjects: [
            Invocation {
                id: invokeCalendar
                query {
                    //According to BlackBerry, this doesn't work so I need to find a workaround
                    mimeType: "text/calendar"
                    invokeActionId: "bb.action.CREATE"
                    invokeTargetId: "sys.pim.calendar.viewer.eventcreate"
                }
            }
        ]

    After the application of the above code, I discovered that nothing happened when the actionitem was activated; so, I asked him it with BlackBerry and it turns out that they couldn't make it work either.

    So, last week I tried various methods on how to integrate calendar functionality in my application. I tried the examples here and here , but could not get either to work due to several errors.

    Ideally, I would like to be able to define the: subject, body and the hour of beginning, all QML, but after searching the calendar I don't think I can.

    As you can see I'm using aliases, in the above code and so I want to put the following text:

    -Set the title of the event: "World Cup 2014:"+ fixtureText.text ".
    -Define the body as: fixtureText.text + 'to' + timeZoneText.text + 'on' + dateText.text + "in the" + stadiumText.text
    -Set the release date: dateText.text
    -Set as start time: timeZoneText.text

    Therefore, I was wondering if someone would be able to show me how to do this in QML or C++?

    Thanks in advance

    With the help of two other developers, I managed to get this working through QML my hpp file settings

All iOS and OS 10 software is up-to-date. Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem?

    Hi there, therex!

    It seems that you have done your inquiry very well and it seems you have reduced to the iPhone 6 Plus. But, since you need see events sent from the phone on all your devices, I'll be happy to help you.

    Archive or make Copies of your Calendar (s) -as you work with live data, be sure to not skip this step to protect the information already there.

  • Calendar events added on iPhone do not appear in Outlook - 365-Exchange Office

    I have had this problem since I use iOS 9.0 beta and I am currently on the 9.3.2 release.

    About 75% of the time I add a calendar event to my calendar to Exchange Office 365 on my iPhone, which is my calendar by default, they appear on my phone but they never appear in Outlook.  25% of the time they appear in Outlook.

    Conversely, if I add an event calendar in Outlook, they appear on my phone 100% of the time.

    My calendar is blue.  The first picture is my iPhone and the second is Outlook - notice «Go to Bagby...» "and 'go to Kaplan...." "appears on my phone, but not in Outlook:

    However, if I move these events on my iPhone to one of my employees schedules (designated in yellow/green/orange), they appear on their calendars on my phone and Outlook.  If I THEN move them back to MY calendar on the iPhone, they finally appear in my Outlook:

    I tried all kinds of things to solve this problem and am at a loss:

    • New installation of iOS of 9.0 to 9.3.2
    • Deletion of accounts Exchange and re - add (I have 5 Exchange accounts on my iPhone)

    I don't know what else to do.  I have no idea why create a new event would not push the event by Exchange Server to day Outlook, but the passage of the event to another calendar, and made it back.  I reported this problem in version beta, but it continues in the final versions.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    This is something known; my understanding is that MS is working on it.

    You could try the Outlook application. So far, I have seen no problem using it.

    I can do it on firefox?

    If you have defined an iGoogle (http://www.google.com/ig) page, Google stops this service in a few months. There are many new services springing up to be your home page, but I don't know if none of them work with your data to Google. I'm sure that you will need to separate service, although, because Firefox is not a built-in feature of gathering all that data.
