Import the data from the record music in Windows Media Player

I'm importing WAV files in the music folder.  The data associated with these files include time and size of the file, running that were determined by Windows and listed with each track.  Windows Media Player has the value import these files, it does.  However, in random cases, the execution time is not captured by Media Player, and so they are reported in the burn list and will not burn.  I get a message that if I play the track, the running time can be picked up, but it did not work.  The information is complete in the music folder.  Is it possible that I can manually transfer these data? (Note - since posting this question, I decided to experiment.  I removed the tracks in Media Player lacking of run times and their re-importation with the menu item drop library «Add to library...» "and they have been re-imported with run times. Eureka!)

Hi sailorsteve,

Are you referring to the length of the track?

  • Music in windows media player will stop playing at the end of the song

Original title: at the end of the songs sound problem

When playing music in windows media player there are a couple of secpnds of silence at the end of each file-music

    Hi ccjerry,

1 when was the last time it was working fine?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

If the music in your library skips or the audio breaks up when you play in Windows Media Player, it might be a problem with the sound driver installed on your computer. In general, this type of problem occurs towards the end of the songs (in the last 20 seconds or almost).

In some cases, you can work around the problem by disabling optional speaker effects that are collectively known asimprovements. If the disabling effects speaker resolves the problem, you may need to update your audio driver.

    (a) Sound open by clicking on the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type sound, and then click sound.

    (b) on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    (c) click the enhancements tab, and then select the checkbox disable all improvements .

If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated.

    Help!

    Hello

    • What version of Windows are you using?

    1. it is possible that you are missing the codec to play the file or it is clashing with other codec files.

    2. the link provided below lists supported by Windows Media Player file format.
It does not list the AVCHD or. MTS files supported file format directly:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992

    3. yet we cannot be sure at this point that the issue is due to interference with some files.

    Method 1:
Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.

Note: When you use System restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To do this, there must be a restore point from the system in which the connection was successful.

Please refer to the below of the help links on performing a system restore.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-system-restore
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:
You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On thefile tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.

  • What is the latest version of Windows Media Player compatible with WM 6.5?

I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 running Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone.  What is the latest version of Windows Media Player, I can use?

    You can not.

Your question was not entirely clear.

WMP is for XP, not the HTC device. If you have Windows mobile on your HTC, then it will be a Media Player built into it. If you have the latest version, AFAIK you update from 6.5 to what is the latest version of Windows Mobile. If its 6.5, then you already have the latest version.

You can also see the MS Windows Mobile...

  • How can I play files aac audio from a sd card on windows media player

I recorded my digital radio to a SD card and used to be able to play on Windows Media.  I've been able to play, but now can't play.  The files are .aac.  A window appears with the following: -.

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or a required codec may not be installed on your computer. »

That is right. Is it installed correctly it just opens a WMP plug in when you open a file.

You must do one of the following:
-Open an individual file in WMP file > open and then go to your SD card and select the file
-go to Windows Explorer (n my computer right click and select open) and your SD card must shownup as a memory storage device. Browse it and double click on one of the files, which should then open WMP.
    See you soon,.
