  I have a Sony CCD-TRV608 camcorder and can not find drivers for it to work with Windows 7.  I've been on the Sony website and they do not have something there that I can find... most of the options you can choose to say there is nothing available after you select them.   Problem #2 - I do not know what kind of cable I need to connect the camcorder to the computer.  Any ideas?  Thank you very much!

  You will need a USB cable to connect the camcorder to the computer. You can directly connect the USB cable which you would have received with the camcorder and would appear as a plug-and-play device. If you have the software Camcorder installed on the computer, it will directly load the default drivers when you connect the camcorder.

  If the USB generic drivers are unable to load when you connect the camera, check if the camcorder is compatible with Windows 7.

• Is there a good video tutorial for how to work with templates?

  I have created a template for the page that I made using the tutorial called"how to make and style of a sensitive web page. "I found the instructions to open Active and click on modify.  When I do this I get the message: "cannot find the Publisher valid for this file extension."  I went to the help titled creating a Dreamweaver template page https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/creating-dreamweaver-template.html.  It provides two links to video tutorials, but they don't take me to the tutorials.  They're media main page of Adobe, and when I search, no tutorials arrive.  As the instructions on the help pages do not work, I'm stuck.  Is there a good video tutorial for how to work with templates?

  Menus grayed implies that you're working in Live View mode.  You cannot change the models in Live View mode.

• Ideas for why HttpConnection works with some clients and not others

  Hi, I have an application that downloads and analyzes an xml file. This works perfectly for some users and does not at all for others. They can even access the XML on the web, but it won't work with my application. Some said they used a bold font, other OS 4.5. Here is an excerpt from my source:

  Not necessarily. You * can * make your app to use BIS-B if you are a partner of the Alliance and I recommend this, but this is not necessary.

  Your customers can also connect using WAP 1.1, WAP2 or direct TCP. I would recommend that you try WAP2 first, this requires no info gateway APN or WAP. You can get the WAP2 info directly from the maintenance book.

  Well, I have some of the xVid .avi files and wonder what I should do to get the first Elements 9 for Mac that allows to work with them. I can't seem to find the right codec and I don't know if that would solve my problem even. Yes, the codec would read QuickTime files, but El first would be able to work with them?

  I also thought I could use the Super video converter (free app) on my PC to convert these files to something other than Premiere Elements will love. I guess that .mov would be preferable. I don't really know if this might degrade the video, but I suspect it would be.

  A DVD uses MPEG2 format, transcoded VOB to DVD - take a look at a DVD 'Hollywood' sometimes to see the structure of directories and files

  XviD/divx are variants of the MPEG4 codec... and cannot be directly used to create a DVD... they must be transcoded

  Because thay are not intended to be edited (they were designed for delivery, often via streaming video on the ' net) you will need to convert for use in PrEl

  There is probably some software running which disables it.  Stuff as Java always calls the API legacy to draw graphics that allows Windows to the old mode rescue.

  If you click Start, and then type "Defender" Windows Defender should appear, from there, you can use the 'explore software' (under Tools) to try to disable all applications that are running on login.

• Firefox for iPod can work with disabled Safari?

  I wanted to use firefox mobile for iPod. I was wondering if the mobile firefox would go with Safari off, for safety reasons, so I can use a plugin of parental control for the mobile version of firefox. I wanted to use a parental control for firefox mobile plugin and let be the only browser on the iPod.   The response to Windows 7 that I can remember, was to run the driver in Vista compatibility mode.

  If this does not work and Windows 8 does not automatically install a driver even for basic printing, Dell you said is the truth...

• Problems with copy / paste

  I'm having a very simple problem - that probably the solution most simple which I can't fix!

  I'm create a booklet for a customer. I created my master pages with all the correct fonts/sizes/colors etc.

  However when I copy and paste in the text box in Microsoft Word (clients work) it reverts to the original Word. As a 50-page document, this will take a long time if I have to change all the fonts/colors etc. to my design.

  I imported the word document in indesign and copy and pasted from there too.

  How do the police to turn into what I have ready?

  If you want to paste rather than place from Word, you should 'Stick without shaped' to keep styles in ID. You can actually set a preference to make all paste them from external text files not formatted as text.

  Implementation is probably a better option, however. If you view the import options, you will be able to map Word styles to styles established in ID (assuming that the author knows how to use styles in Word - quite rare).

• changes of color in the docs with copy / paste into Illustrator CS6

  Designer of copy & glue a rectangle that has a gradient background, of a file to a lot of new files. every time that changes color for the gradient. not a lot - but enough to turn red orange. I was not personally witness to the c & p, but I checked the colors on the gradient sliders and they are different. Is it possible? or am I worthless? any help will be greatly appreciated!

  The documents have different color profiles.

  If you're going in Edition > color settings and tick 'ask when pasting' under profile of incompatibilities, you will be presented with this dialog box (Self explaining):

  

  Of course, the real question is what the document should be the profile. It depends on the use and destination.

• Problem with copy/paste

  Hi, I am a user of Pages on the Macbook Air and the problem I have is this: I use to write poems of litle Pages and then if I like them, I post on facebook. But when I copy the text of Facebook Pages, all line breaks have disappeared and all I get is a wall of text I need to manually change to make it actuallt resemble a poem. My solution is to copy the poem to gmail first (which does not cause / suffer from this problem) and copy to facebook in gmail. Is there a solution more directly than you guys can show me?

  I suggest that you install the free LibreOfficeand write your poems in LibreOffice Writer. The application will take your exact text and allow you to export to x / html. When you view this html in Safari, it will have the same format as in LibreOffice Writer. Who can publish on Facebook better than your current situation using Pages, or it may not depending on if Facebook made a hokey content filtering.

  All of LibreOffice installs in your Applications folder with a simple drag and drop in the installation program. The first time you start, OS X will check the code and then say you that it's a developer not saved. Click the Open button to access the application. It is a unique case, and later, it will launch LibreOffice without this prompt.
