Impossible to browse the forum of support without account

How to check the support forum without logging into an account? The answer, apparently, is that I don't have. It is not possible to click on my way in there if I am not logged in. I can search for specific threads, but I'll never know what search might have missed.

Is there a reason that is sensitive to this?

And where, exactly, should post this question?

According to this page: support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/other "this site is [sic] only takes care of some of our products.» For other forms of support, please select the product below. "The Mozilla site itself is apparently not supported, whatever that means.
The link "Contact us" in the footer is to regional offices and social media, seems, that no "traditional" contact option is available.

Epicaleb, of course, the link works; the page is public. My point is that there is no link in the first place until you create an account. The link you posted doesn't account not because unregistered users cannot get on it without first looking for him.

Yes, jscher2000, my point exactly. But if a relevant support wire does not have key words most likely to be used to find, no amount of research he will not reveal. Navigation is the only solution for this.

That said: one thing I don't see much in this forum of support, unlike many other such places, is third 'spamming' existing threads with partners-but-different support requests. More I wonder who, I tend to agree with the current procedure, even if I think it's annoying limiting; anything that increases the chances of a support request has met with a useful answer seems so take precedence on not having to answer the same questions ad nauseam.

(I still think that the page "contact us" should offer a way to report problems with the site itself, even if it is not a.)

    I noticed a regression in SQL Developer 3.2 with respect to 3.1 (under windows).

    from SQL Developer 3.1.7.7.42 I was able to browse the java sources stored and compiled in the database.
    The 'Invisible', 'Source', 'Policies' tabs have been correctly filled. If I had to complain about something, the names of the classes were 'shortened' while I saw "c932e55e_PrintDebug" instead of "my/company/application/package/PrintDebug".

    I tested version 3.2.
    Now, the names of classes are complete, but the tabs are empty. I am also unable to recover the source of a class (as was in 3.1)

    This happens to other people?

    Thanks for reporting this. Looks like you will have to keep available alongside 3.2 3.1 for now. I logged a bug:

  • Impossible to browse the files on the Bluetooth device

    Hello, I use a HP Mini, product XV695PAUUF, OS Windows 7 Starter 32-bit number. I have a problem with my Bluetooth. Is no more, I can send files to my phone or browse files on my phone. I tried right-clicking on my device in the devices window and printers and I also tried double clicking on it, but it is no longer gives me the ability to send or to browse the files on my phone as was previously the case. I first faced this problem in March 2012. Before that, it was working fine. Here are some screenshots of what happens when I right click or double click on my device.

    I clicked on properties, and that's what I see:

    I tried to remove my camera and install again, but the same thing happens when I do, so I don't think it's a problem with my camera, but rather the computer. I also tried disabling and re-enabling my Bluetooth. Yet once, nothing changes.

    Could you help me solve this problem? Thank you very much.

    1. click on Start and then run
    2. type cmd and press enter
    3. a black must dialog box appear, type netsh winsock reset and press enter
    4. type exit press enter and restart your system

    Hey I just bought a new PC and installed Windows XP on it. Since a few days the player worked fine, but suddenly its icon has changed in my computer. It displays a file open instead of the Local hard disk image and double clicking shows ACCESS IS DENIED. The partition contains my personal and very important documents, so it cannot be formatted so pls, give advice that will be useful for me without formatting the drive.

    For a file or a folder, how do I make a file you must have the owner of a protected file to access. If another user has restricted access and you are the computer administrator, you can access the file to appropriate.

    To take ownership of a file, follow these steps:

    1. Right click on the file that you want to take control and then click Properties.
    2. Click on the Security tab, and then click OK in the security message (if one appears).
    3. Click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.
    4. In the name list, click administrator, or click the Administrators group, and then click OK.

      The administrator or the Administrators group now owns the file.

    To change the permissions on the file that you now own, follow these steps:

    1. Click on Add.
    2. In the list enter the object names to select (examples) , type the user or group account that you want to have access to the file. For example, type administrator.
    3. Click OK.
    4. In the group or user names list, click the account you want, and then select the check boxes of the permissions you want to assign to this user.
    5. When you're done to assign permissions, click OK.
    6. You can now access the file.

    How to capture a record you must have ownership of a protected folder to access. If another user has restricted access and you are the computer administrator, you can access the folder by taking possession.

    Just tried history file for the first time, using the external drive. Files are entered in a folder called 'data' which I can't navigate simply numbers in there is no files or folders. I can get the drive, if I know the file name, and it is located and displayed in read-only format. What is happening and why I can't navigate to files?

    The history of the files makes many many copies of files, so that you can navigate the versions of the files.  You have created a file on Monday, and you open the file and change it daily.  Today (Friday), you would have 5 version of this file, one for each day in the history of your file.  If browsing it in the folder of file is not possible or recommended, because of the way it stores data to enable this feature.

    To navigate through your backup history file, open the control panel of the file history (where you set the parameters), then click on "Restore personal files" on the top left.

  • Impossible to browse the Web on all VM Vista

    It is a strange.

    I am running Workstation 10.0.1 Build 1379776

    My host system is Windows 7 Ultimate edition with Service Pack 1 (all updates available)

    I have a number of virtual machines that I use for testing. (all the way back to windows 3.1 and transmit to 8.1)

    I use these virtual machines as a starting point (I keep updated)

    and when I need to test something I make a linked clone and run my tests

    Today I was going through and running windows update on my VM and I discovered that my "Vista" VM is unable to access the internet.

    (Vista Home Premium, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate)

    They can digital addresses on the internet, but not the names of 'Ping' (IE Ping www.yahoo.com does not work and because of ping 98.139.180.149)

    Curiously, I can't navigate to http://98.139.180.149 ou.

    I can also well ping and search for addresses in my Windows 7 host computer.

    My other virtual machines are working perfectly, Windows 2000, XP, 7, 8 and 8.1

    I tried to reinstall the VM tools.  reset the network cards. (all my virtual machines are defined for NAT) and I even tried networking of switching to the bridge to see if it has an effect (No).

    I even went so far as to recreate a new Vista Business VM from scratch. and I have the same problem (so that tells me that this isn't an update to windows or misconfigured or corrupt network)

    I've not updated VMWare recently and the update says I have the latest version.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply.  As it turned out I started some difficulties with the Windows 7 VM as well.

    I decided to uninstall the desktop. uninstall all the cards and remove left all the files and registry keys.

    So far, after a reinstall of the VM my computer vista virtual workstation can access internet as before.

    I'm going to assume that something has become corrupted in the application of VM Workstation or network cards

    I can miss a few simple adjustments, but it really gets me upset. I managed to install the vCloud Director on RHEL 5.5 and I am able to access the portal of vcloud Director with vcloud Director server but cannot access the portal anywhere in the local network.

    The installation program is something like this:

    Director of cloud is installed on RHEL 5.5

    SQL database (the instanace of sql is shared between vcenter and vcloud Director DB)

    I am able to resolve host names i.e. forward and reverse search scopes

    Not really sure that I'm missing here, something really stupid?

    You can check out the complete domain name in your local hosts file, and then you must be sorted.

    c:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc

  • Impossible to contact support, cannot log in to the forums with the account with which I completed the subscription, I want to cancel, but have no option to do so!

    I used a prepaid credit card to set up a subscription. I realized I didn't really need the cloud of Adobe, so I tried to cancel it. But of course, no way to do it! Fast forward to two months, I stopped putting money on the credit card, and Adobe sent me an email to update my payment information. Now, I tried again to contact support to cancel the subscription, but I can't. There is no option "chat or by telephone ' choice. I can't even log on the forums with my main account, so I used this account and... oh well, it works, because there is no subscription I think! It is a scam, nothing else.

  • Can't see glimpses of threads on the forums vBulletin 3-4 b 2

    With forum sites that run using vBulletin, when you hover over the subject line of a thread in the forum, you get the first sentence or so of the post (about 80 or more characters). When you browse the Forums that are run on vBulletin, before the installation of Firefox 4 Beta 2, it works. However, after that I upgraded Firefox 4 beta 1, beta 2, it worked more. Someone know a fix for this, or is this a bug in Beta 2? I checked other sites that use vBulletin, and they have the same problem.

    I found a solution in a post for a different issue, I've had - uninstall the Google toolbar has solved the problem.

  • Booklet 70CT: unable to browse the network

    I'm trying to connect my booklet 70CT to an existing LAN. I use a Fast Ethernet Linksys PC card in the booklet, connect a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router on a LAN port.

    There are two other computers connected to the router network OK. I did all the installation procedures in the manual of the PC card and everything seemed to be working normally.

    When I double click on network neighborhood on the booklet, I get a screen with "Entire network" in this topic. When I double-click it, I have a sign saying "Unable to browse the network."

    This problem may occur if there is a key to logon automatically in the registry at the following location:
    EntVersion entVersion\Network\Real Mode Net

    It seems that you can solve this problem by deleting the registry location AutoLogon value listed in the section "Cause".

    recently, I got used to browse the forum for questions and interesting topics, or perhaps even for problems where I could contribute a little.

    However I think this suboptimal browsing experience because about 10-15% of all messages are a waste of time for two reasons:

    (1) the question does not belong to the CVI at all. Here, I admire the patience of Roberto Bozzolo et al. emphasizing the wrong forum. Still, these entries. I would say that these messages could be transferred to the right place by an administrator.

    (2) I can't read Chinese, I do not understand Spanish and other languages and more. Although there is this button "Select community" on the Web page, it has no effect (for my browser, IE7). I expect some sort of filtering mechanism...? Anyway, I can't read or understand the messages are useless to me. Why people can't ask questions in English? Language of the CVI is too English...

    Of course I can live with that, but in general, I am an optimist and hope that things can be improved...

  • Impossible to activate the flow detection or discovery Webslice in IE8

    I've tried three different installations of Internet Explorer 8, and every time that the discovery of the CNR will not work.

    The toolbar button always remains gray.  Even when I am on a site with an RSS feed validates.

    When I go to the power options (Content/Feeds and Web slices settings) the "play a sound when a feed is found" 'enable in the discovery of component Web Slice page' options are grayed out and cannot be enabled/disabled.  All other checkboxes are enabled.

    I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 on a Dell Vostro 200 (32 bit)

    You should check and make sure you have your favorite Bar checked.  You will need to check for web slices is displayed. Right click on the toolbar at the top and make sure that the bookmarks bar.
