Impossible to change the administrator user account picture?

Just create new pc with Windows 7 Professional. But can not change user account for my own image using the Browse tab?

I have on my old pc Windows 7?

Tried changing the setting 'Apply the default user logon picture' in gpedit does not?

Kind regards

Hi Davy,.

You are the administrator of the account?

As you have tried the default user logon image, create a new user account can help you determine if the problem is related to the corruption of user account.

Otherwise, sign in with the account that has administrative rights and try to change the image.

Create a new user account and check if the problem persists, if the problem does not persist in the new user account, then you can fix the damaged user account.

If you "move" the files/folders to PUBLIC folders, you can then access them when you are in the new admin account and then you can place them in your personal folders.
If you do not Move To and copy to options in your context menu, here is the tutorial to "help":
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/89196-context-menu-add-copy-folder-move-folder.html

When you have completed the tutorial, try this...
Right click on any folder/file > click Move To > scroll to the destination where will be moved to the folder/file > click on move.
That's all. The file/folder is moved.

Public folders are accessible to all user accounts on the computer.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I can imagine the disadvantages suffered by you and will certainly help you in the right

direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. What is the exact error message when you say, ' I tried to change my password and he said: I can't? "
    2. You did it of any significant changes to the computer before this problem?
    3. You are connected to a local user account or an Microsoft account?

It seems that your administrator password is unable to validate Windows Server.

If connected to a Microsoft account, I suggest to reset your account password and try to connect to your computer Windows 8.1 and check if it helps fix the problem.

See the links for more information on how to reset your Microsoft Account password.

I understand that you can not change the UAC settings on the computer and the system hangs. I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Rest assured that I will do my level best to help you.

Did you of recent changes to the computer before the show?

I suggest you try to activate UAC from the command line and check if it helps.

    (a) open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    (b) run this command

  • Pavilion 500-424: the administrator user account setting

After back out the upgrade W10. System was not enough the feeling that everything is going well under the hood. Said to run from the command prompt: sfc/scannow.  Said that he could identify the particular sticking points. My problem is that I have to run this as administrator. I am the only user listed and shows as an administrator account. Any ideas on how to fix this message for this problem and any future needs that require admin rights?

    Buddy1254, welcome to the forum.

You should right click on the Windows logo in the bottom left.  Select the order Prompty (Admin).  Once it opens, copy and paste the command sfc/scannow in the screen after the prompt C:\ and press ENTER.  It should start the scan.

  • Impossible to change the administrator password or log in to the administrator! (CF10)

So as the title says, I can't connect to the administrator and change the password through Coldfusion10\cfusion\bin\passwordreset.bat doesn't seem to be actually change the password because I always get the "invalid username/password" when I try to log in after resetting the password.

Further, I used the old method of changing neo - security.xml and changed 'admin.security.enabled' to false. This allowed me access to the administrator, but even in this case, when I activate the password protection and reset the password of the administrator, I am still unable to connect!

A detail that may be a clue to solve this problem: when installing CF, it has been fixed to not use the default username "admin". When I try to open a session if I try with "admin" and the username is personalized with no luck.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem? It seems that the password encryption system is broken and store the hash of password reset evil or something...

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I have to restart the service after the reset of the password.

Here are possible solutions, you can try: -.

Note:-a restart of the application server ColdFusion to allow port internal/built would be necessary.

My brother gave me this pc so its screen was initially the only screen on this pc and the administrator account.  I thought I have BEEN set up as an administrator, as well, but I'm not allowed to do things like re - install the web cam.  After reviewing, I see that I am listed as a reg user (even if it is said under my name 'administrator'.  I went to the account administrator (my brother) and tried to change the type of account, but it will not accept the change.

What should I do now?  Why is he not allow editing even though I was in the administrator account?

    Hello!

Open a session the administrator account.

    net localgroup administrators [ENTER]

to see the list of users who are in the Administrators group

To make your administrator user name, add it to the Administrators group with:
