  Installed the updates this morning and now unable to copy a Web page and paste it in microsoft works. Can I use another program, but I'm not a happy camper. It tells me that I should not always immediately install new updates due to problems of this kind. I got burned by updates in the past, but it has been awhile. Everyone must wait at least a week or two before you install these updates.

  What you are trying to copy and paste in the works?  What steps do you take to do this?

  When you try and copy, the copy function appears if you right click on the selected text?

  Do you receive an error message when you try to copy and paste?

  You can copy from another application, such as Notepad in the works?

• Impossible to copy and paste from/to XP using remote desktop

  Due to problems, I have recently reinstalled Vista on my pc.  Before the reinstall, I could access my PC using XP, using remote desktop from work to distance and copy and paste the files from XP and Vista.

  Since the reinstallation, I'm not able to copy/paste unless I have turn off UAC.  (I have progbably had turned off before, but he didn't.)  Is there a way to copy and paste them to work without disabling UAC?  Maybe some changes in the policy or registry?

  Note: I use Remote Desktop with Clipboard selected for local devices and resources.

  I saw this thread earlier and it does not apply.  I would say the copy/paste of text works.  I can't copy and paste a file.  UAC seems to be the key here.

  I found a work around.   I connect with a local drive.  Since the remote desktop, I can copy files to the local disk, which then I have the file available locally and I can go other directions.  It's a little slow, but it works for now.

  2. you are trying to copy and paste into MS Word or try to move the file from one place to the other place?
  3. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

  I suggest you perform the clean boot and check if the problem persists.

  I must say that I am so sorry, I have improved. I just paid the Bank $3.00 per month for statements. The only thing I use the program for is to read the docs, such as title 5 California. The only thing I do is sometimes copy and paste a small part of some codes I am a student. When I try to do that all I get when I paste a bunch of squares. That's all that is pasted to the Clipboard too. Document security is: no security and the only things not authorized are retrieval Assemby Document and page regardless of those who are. So how can you copy / paste an article?

  Certainly there is something wrong with the PDF, but since you probably did not create it, there is nothing you can do about it.

  I'll try this weekend to develop a method how you can have two versions of work of reader XI and X or 9.x

  I'm trying to fix my profile by following the instructions found here. It is well written and easy to follow. Except that I can't make it work.

  I copy everything except the ntuser files (do not know if they are completely copy) but when I go to the new user and click on paste, nothing happens. And when I check in a directory, say 'office,' my files aren't there.

  I don't know why but quite a number of my directories is locked, including the "desktop" and many in the appdata directory. I think that there is too much to try to take ownership and change permissions; I can't do that for all of these directories.

  Is there a way to get around this?

  Promotion of all administrator-level accounts won't hurt.

  What you say sounds pretty confusing. It is not consistent with my knowledge of Windows and the file/folder permissions. Here are a few options for you to consider:

  • Take ownership of your folders of problem - see here:

  • Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you.
  • Give me remote access to your machine.

• Impossible to copy/paste or drag/drop of files. Cannot copy and paste text, either.

  The operating system would prohibit me files copy/paste and drag and drop files text copy and paste all of a sudden. No error message; the right operating system does not respond to my 'stick' and 'slide' actions; 'paste' is grayed out in the menu. ('Copy' seems to be black if I remember correctly).

  Need to reboot back to normal. A reboot about once a day because of this problem frequently.

  P.S. The computer seems to be slower than usual these days. kernal_task and Google Chrome Helper often go beyond 100% of the CPU in the activity monitor. My MBP has a 480 GB SSD (with use of 180 GB).

• Acrobat XI Windows 7 - impossible (copy and) paste form fields in different PDF.

  In order to maintain a consistent look and function in the forms I create for various departments, I copy a few independent form (text, checkboxes) of a PDF Acrobat fields. Then I paste these fields in another PDF document that I am to fill.

  I do this because Acrobat does not define a default value for some attributes when creating form fields, i.e. an option deselected scroll, one font by default other than Helvetica (in Acrobat 8, 9 and X). Plus, it's save time to copy and paste fields that are the same in another PDF file, such as name, address, telephone. etc.

  We have just upgraded to Acrobat XI and Windows 7 and now I can't paste copied fields on a different PDF.

  To help 'replace the pages' is not applicable, as I am sticking to a totally different form and copy the form fields with the settings I use.

  Is this a bug or something new that wasn't in Acrobat 8, 9 and X is?

  The PDF Creator cannot paste fields copied on other pages of the same PDF file. This was never resolved so that copy / paste worked like he did during the last 3 versions of Acrobat?

  Yes, it should work with all fields (perhaps with the exception of the signature signature

  I know the c control and control functions v for copy and paste with Excel and Word. How do cut you, copy, and move entire folders when you are working in Windows 10? 2 tapping fingers at the same time used to work in point 8.1 of Windows but does not work in Windows 10. I want to move my documents together and download files from my drive c on a memory stick that I have only 32 GB SSD in my book and it is fill up very quickly. I don't want to lose days copy individual files and sticking them in the memory stick. That would be a common mistake. I don't understand why HP had to remove the left and right buttons and make life very difficult for its customers. They probably saved a couple of hundred by getting rid of the buttons in their calculation of costs, but made it impossible for customers to use the laptop in a productive way.

  Have you tried pressing the right and left of the touchpad corners? Most of the models without physical buttons have this function.

  Hello everyone

  I'm working on a big VI and difficulties to run on different screen resolutions. Too many controls, indicators, charts, etc. If I let Labview resize objects and sizes of fonts all gets messy. Because of this, I decided to create several files of VI, one for each screen resolution. Then the first VI to run detects the actual resolution of the screen and load the right VI of this form.

  Everything works like a charm, but when I need to update something in my code (put a new sub - VI to run, create a new case of event within the structure of the event, etc.), I have to do the SAME procedure several times to update all the screws with different screen resolutions.

  After long reflection I came to the solution to remove all Boolean values or flags the while loop, set the buttons like "Switch releasing" and restore the previous state of the button programmatically. Given that I have never (or almost never) update something on the front, I can make all the necessary changes in a single resolution VI and after finishing all I can just copy the while loop and paste in all screen resolution files. After that I just have to connect a wire (for groups of references) and I'm good to go. All screen resolutions files work identically.

  The problem: when I copy while loop and paste it into a new VI, all the events of structures of event (to handle the case) are not preserved. Then, I need to change the events that will handle each case in the structure of the event and repeat the same procedure for all screen resolutions files. Since is impossible to Labview allow to adjust items and size of fonts and distribution, I have to continue to use multiple files.

  If I solve the problem with events that are not preserved when I copy and paste the while loop, everything will be fine.

  My code is really very important, with several SubVIs and all that, but the attached files will show you the main idea of the problem I have. Open resolution 1(vi), copy all looped and paste it in resolution 2.vi. The main idea was just to connect a wire and I'd be ready to go, but events are not kept in the structure of the event.

• Word 2003: Copy and paste, drag - d├⌐poser has stopped working

  I'm writing a book for school and have done a lot of editing.  Tonight, I chose to copy and paste the title of an article that I was referencing on the web (I use FF), which is something I do all the time without any problems.  Then, starting IN the word document, I pointed out a passage for cut and paste elsewhere.  Instead, he re-pasted article that I had taken place online - the title of this article.  So, I went to the Clipboard and deleted and tried to copy and paste (of my paper) again.  Still did not work.  I tried to drag and drop and that has not worked.  I checked and unchecked "allow drag and drop" in the field of the option and opening and closing, closed all browsers, etc., and so far, not only in this document, but in all word documents, I can't copy and paste or drag and drop.  Help!  And thanks in advance.  It is a BIG problem, as I'm working on a thesis.

• As Illustrator vector pen tool or allows copy and paste from Adobe Illustrator.

  In Muse design tools are very, very limited (can't even do the triangles).

  Adding that a pen tool would allow the curved lines and be vector would speed up load time vs png or JPEG.

  Yes... I know it's possible, but what I would like is the ability to simply copy and paste a curvy line (as say a wave vector) directly from Illustrator in Muse and keep a path editable vector with attributes like thinknesses different line and maybe even anchor that can still be moved.

  I use Adobe Reader X 10.1.1 on Windows Vista, but this problem applies to all users of Reader, that I tested it regardless of their implementation:

  
  When you open a text-under-the-page-image PDF file in Adobe Reader and then copy and paste the text, the spacing is introduced between the letters:

  For example, the word "test" shows as "t e st i ng" in the document text output, but that the 'test' on the original pdf.

  This affects 50% of the 100 000 PDF files in the collection, with between 10% and 90% of the words within those that show this phenomenon.

  The PDF files themselves are so impossible to search for the words in question.

  This does not occur when viewing and search PDF files in other viewers such as FoxIt or NitroPDF.

  Nor does occur when you use file | Save under. Text or display RTF or XML version.

  I can still reproduce this phenomenon on specific files or through the entire collection, on both my own system and with anyone else who opens PDFs in Reader.

  Copy / paste is not consistent. I have to turn the phone off and restart in order to copy and paste into the Pages and the copy of the mail, for example pages.

  The copy and paste can be restored Pages?

  I do not use Pages, so I can't comment on that. But if a reboot seems to fix, it may be something anyone able to help out.

• Takes are silent when copied and pasted into the new track

  After recording several takes of a vocal part and a model gliding around how I like it, I decided to dub the voices and use another part of the (unused) takes.

  I created a new title in doubles (CMD - D) and pasted the vocal track (including), but the new double track is silent.  I can see the track and everything going out there and tried to remove plugins, copy and paste in different ways, but the track and just stay silent.  I can see them all here in the new track, and all that I can see, they should be heard.

  I tried this search anywhere online and cannot find any mention of this problem anywhere.  Is this just a bug?  I forgot something?

  What version of logic you use.
