Impossible to delete or cancel a print job to the printer Dell P713W.

Original title: the printer error - will not remove.

I have a Dell P713W printer installed on my VISTA.  I cancelled a print job, but it will not remove.  Any ideas?

I tried all the suggestions.  Everything off and went on vacation for a few days.  Returned to find everything back to normal.  I hope I don't undergo this in the future, but I will remember your steps as appropriate.  Thank you.

I sent a photo to print on my printer HP Photosmart B209-am.  When I waited more than an hour so that he could print and nothing happens I tried to remove it.  The State said "delete" for several hours.  I ran the Task Manager to cancel, I rebooted my PC Windows 7 64 bit and restarted the printer.  Nothing will clear the print job.  What can I do next?  I can not print anything else, until it is resolved.  Thank you!

    Hello

In Control Panel, open administrative tools and select abuse.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right-click, select Properties, and then click the stop button.  Now, go to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and remove the work inside this folder.  Restart the computer and you should be ok.

You may need to click on a prompt to acquire the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

I have a printer that has been uninstalled / removed.  When I go to print anything, it still appears in my choice of the printer list.

    3. Find the printer in question - in my case, the State was something like "Deleting - offline" and there was 1 in the work queue. I click right, 'cancel all selected jobs' and the printer disappeared immediately.

  • Canceling a print job

Any time I need to cancel/delete a print job, I'm sitting in limbo! I cancel properly and he claims that 'delete'... but it takes FOREVER!   Why? Help!

You cancel from your operating system or from the button cancel on the printer?  If the latter, the computer will continue to send the job to the printer, but it is ignored.  A faster method would be to cancel the print job from the printer, then cancel the job from the computer.

  • Print queue hangs when I cancel any print jobs

I use my Photosmart C309 all-in-one wireless printer. It prints very well until I have to cancel a print job. As soon as I cancel any job that is currently printing (in software or by pressing the button cancel on the printer) the print queue hangs up and working I tried to cancel everything is sitting there saying it is deleted, but it doesn't go away, and it keeps me print anything else.

I found a way to erase pasted work and get the printer going again (using the option of troubleshooting under devices and printers), but surely, I should be able to cancel a print job — without blocking completely to the top of the queue?

I've had the printer for a year now and it has always had this problem.

Have you tried to delete and add the printer?

Remove the printer (selection it and press the delete key on your keyboard).  Add again in this way:

    1. make sure the printer is on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address before continuing.
    2. click on > start > Control Panel > printers.
    3. click on add a printer
    4. Select local printer
    5. Select create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click Next.
    6. under device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under the name of host or IP address, enter the host name of the printer (found on the network printer configuration report the generated above). Click Next.
If you get a message about required additional Port information, then the printer is not found using the host name. You can go back and start over or using the IP address of the printer instead of the host name.
    7. Select Hewlett-Packard in the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
    9. He will ask the name of the printer - enter a new name or use the one existing. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
    10. we may ask you to share the printer. Make a choice and click Next.
    11. the printing area of Test Page is displayed. Go ahead and print it out.
    12. click on finish.

  • M127fw MFP: How to delete the print jobs in the queue?

When I get an error message when trying to print, I keep trying to print.  This means that I can hit 'print' five times for the same document, because I hit 'print' whenever I think I might finally have something fixed.

The problem is that HP never forget any of these applications - when it finally starts printing - it always prints every single job - meaning that I get multiple copies of jobs for which I got an error message.

Where is the interface to view and delete these jobs? I can't find it on the printer itself.  Is there an interface where I can delete jobs in the queue?

Go to devices and printers and double click on the printer icon. Now click on something like seeing what is printing a list of documents should appear and you can pass by and remove whatever ones you want.

Just bought the HP Officejet 8630 and when printing easily found a key/icon "CANCEL" to cancel the action.  My old HP 8500 has a touch of real cancel.  Short to enter the computer system and cancel the job this way, does anyone know how to cancel via the touch screen?   Or, my only option now would be to go in my system, the longest?  (Even with the printer shortcup on my computer icon - it's always longer than just pressing a nice touch CANCEL !).  I tried searching for an answer online and can't find anything on this issue.  Thank you.

    Hello

Once you press the print shown on the front panel option, you will see the Cancel option.
