Impossible to discover 104

I have a 104 and it has just updated to 6.4.2 and now I can't connect to it via the readycloud portal or via the iOS app. I know that many people have had the same problems, but nothing has worked for me. I noticed that the serial number and MAC addresses have changed. Thanks in advance.

Chris

Cprice83 I fixed the serial number and MAC addresses on this system. They should both showing correct now.

This system must be able to connect to ReadyCLOUD now.

    Thank you for the help

    I have changed accounts.

We managed to find the reason. First of all, it is a virtual machine. An expert colleague told me to check the hardware of vmware. We managed to find out that there is a difference of ILO to host vmware hardware. Even if the guest OS virtual material seem to be the same, but the difference between the results of operating system host different logical and physical size of block on 2 nodes. This is the reason.

We had to update the kernel to apply the setting ORACLEASM_USE_LOGICAL_BLOCK_SIZE to repair the block size for clusterware difference. Everyone was puzzled about why, but the most important is the host VMware system in this issue.

    Thanks for the help

    Hello

Have you checked if the new HARD drive is recognized properly by the BIOS?

I m not 100% sure, but maybe the size of 120 GB might be too large and so the BIOS would not recognize as it should.

You have KMS license in effect for your Windows 7 Machines.  If this isn't the case, that is the question.

    You have 4 options:

Option 1: Get KMS licenses in place for Microsoft Win7. -by far the easiest.

Option 2: Use SYSPREP instead of QuickPrep

Option 3: Add 1 at a time and activate the link manually clones b4 customization finishes - pain in the rear. Or be creative if it's your test env.

Option 4: Hack the key "reg" activate this supossedly a composer. Here is the info:

    HKLMsystem/CurrentControlSet/services/vmware-viewcomposer-ga/SkipLicenseActivation to '1'.

Of course the Win7 Office will be up to the period-eval evaluation mode expires but can be useful in a temporary unit or POC.

The foregoing is not tested I tried it in my environment but do not know if it works because I don't want to mess with my installing any further until my POC is complete.  But it seems to work.  I found no key but went ahead and created.  Seems to work.

So, I wanted to update to the latest version of Skype, but every time I press the update now and he says: I can not install it because a version of Skype is already installed. So I went to add/remove a program, and it showed no Skype. First I went online and tried to find a solution, but none of them worked, so I asked my friend and he said that he had the same problem, but he managed to update Skype. He said he deleted all the files and it worked, so I tried it. He said again I can not install the new version and it does not appear in my programs, the files are not in my recycling bin, I can't cancel delete and now I can't use Skype at all. • Cashback after 30 days is almost impossible

Time to claim my cashback after 30 days and guess what, find how to do is almost impossible.
In addition, the wording of big title of 'claim after 30 days, in the 60' is actually in the table of contents, you will need to also register after 30 days, not before that.

Now when you get the laptop that he constantly nags you register, if you do, of course before 30 days of good faith. Although this seems not against the claim after that 30-day headline read, it is of course breaks the table of contents, which are hidden on a link at the bottom of the page.

I didn't know when I first saw the ad and bought my computer based on the cashback, it was designed so that stunned people would claim. What I wasn't expecting, is that it is made almost impossible for anyone to claim. So after counting the days, I find now that I'll probably be rejected as non eligible.

Well that's what you need to consider if I do not receive the cashback I tried in good faith to Toshiba:

    1. I am a common consumer, who has more than a Toshiba product, and will never buy an another Toshiba product in my life.
    2. I will write in PC magazines and post on all PC forums, advises consumers to avoid the operation and why.
3 I normally hardware purchases in our society, and they will never be Toshiba again. Considering that I'm trying to get away still more reliable Dells, it could have been a real benefit to you.
    4. when it is asked for advice from people, as is often the case, I don't recommend Toshiba products.

I hope that from here you can see how angry it made me and how much more than £100, you will lose in the future if you don't honor this promotion. Up to try to claim, I was very happy with my purchase and would recommend others to try the same case. How stupid are your marketing people who totally reverse for the sake of £100.

Talk about shoot yourself in the foot of Toshiba!

I have now found the "missing link" at the request of cash back. I also discovered that the TOC are very clear about what registration means and is still valid.

I'm disappointed so difficult this process was filed, mainly by very poor instructions and website design (which is frankly terrible).

Toshiba, why are you tarnish a good product with this garbage, ask someone who knows what they are doing to make it user-friendly. None of this is nothing more, it's just, it was who ever made the website for you!

  • Satellite A200 PSAE6E: Impossible to install the audio drivers after installing Win XP realtek

    Hello...

Recently, I repartitioned my laptop HD to install XP and kubuntu (it came with vista)... However, I was not able to install audio drivers for its audio devices...

The laptop is a toshiba Satellite A200-PSAE6E and everest indicates the following audio controllers:

ATI hd 2xxx hdmi @ ati radeon hd 2600 - controller high definition audio
    Realtek alc268 @ intel 82801hbm ich8m - audio controller high definition

First I tried to download the audio drivers high definition realtek web site (32-bit version of windows xp). I tried to run the installation, manually navigating to WDM file during the installation of the pilot and navigation manually the folders where the drivers have been copied during the installation under c:\windows\system32\... all to nothing done...

Then I tried to download drivers toshiba official of the support web site of europe from toshiba for the realtek chip... I've lived the same behavior (both when you run the Setup program and install manually force pilots)

Then I tried to download the drivers for ATI HDMI audio device from realtek website... with the same results...

Windows tells me that it was impossible to find a driver in the any of the archives...

The only thing that could be the culprit because as far as I can tell, is that I installed service pack 3 RC2...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Tasos

P.S. I've tried the two automatic installation through specification of a folder and choose the options "I will manually choose a driver from the list" in the hardware installation wizard... the result is always the same... Note that the audio works perfectly under ubuntu...

P.S.2 IMPORTANT! I recently discovered that toshiba offers bios versions for the A200 PSAE6E depending on if it is equipped with windows xp or vista...

This refers to which the operating system has been installed when the system was purchased, or the operating system that is currently used? Can I upgrade the Bios of my laptop with the XP version or this break from things?

    Hello

    Regarding the sound issue.
A lot of people already asked for it here on the forum and my knowledge the driver sound doesn't work because that some Member States the fixes and patches are missing.

    Please check this thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//thread.jspa?MessageID=113124

You will need to install KB888111 and KB835221 hotfix

    With regard to the BIOS;
Yes, some series of laptops needs a version of XP BIOS if you want to install and use the XP on the laptop. AFAIK the A200 is one of these series of laptops.

    Good bye

  • Replacement of transistor on Satellite L10-104

    Hello everyone,

I have a Satellite L10-104. My problem is that my monitor didn' rooms discovered anything. I turn on my laptop and it works but I don't see anything. I saw that there is a Transistor or something like that on the motherboard, which is destroyed.

It is in the close not USB-slot on the back of my laptop. It is located next to the resistant R8. I want to change the unit of construction, but I can't read the label. I can just read w... but the rest is destroyed. I know it's a bad description, but I hope someone can help me.

I need the name of this thing. Maybe someone can give a circuit diagram, or something like that, for me.

    Best regards.
    Carina

Don t think that someone here will be able to help you because the patterns of the motherboard are not for public use so no one here could post a link or anything that would lead to this teaching

I think your last option is the maintainer authorized Toshiba in your country

But I put t think it would be possible to repair the motherboard on the simple fact is that you need to remove this small part, with the help of a soldering station if you need experience in electronics and soldering

  • I downloaded "free" MS Removal Tool, then discovered their lie and I had to pay $59.95 to activate

MS Removal Tool has taken possession of my computer.  I downloaded what was advertised, fraudulently, as a 'free' program, only to find out that I had to pay $59.95 to activate it.  I refused, and then discovered that ANY of my programs worked, so I went back and I purchase, and then things started working.  Tehen, a screen came up with a license agreement, and I clicked 'CANCEL' instead of 'I AGREE';   once more, NONE of my programs worked so I tried to contact Microsoft, but it is almost impossible, where this note.  Any suggestions?  Complain to the FCC?  Forget Microsoft and go to Linux Ubuntu?  The problem is with my Dell 745 running Vista Business.  Since it is now inactdive, I'm typing this on my laptop with XP - Pro.  I also have a desktop IBM running Linux Ubuntu 10.10, and I love it.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this situation?  Microsoft is one of the many who use dishonest and deceitful tactics to 'hang' their 'brands...  Anyone else out there with experience with this tactic?
Thanks for your help.   If please answer on the forum and steer them to * address email is removed from the privacy *.
