Impossible to download files in Firefox, using flash uploader. Already reinstalled flash, works well in Chrome.
I have a site where I can upload files to the site server using Flash - I have the latest Firefox and the latest version of the plugin Flash (uninstalled and reinstalled). "But the download fails - I get an unknown message of I/O. but only in Firefox - works fine in Chrome. I already ran the process of uninstalling/reinstalling Adobe and I also tried to run Firefox in Mode without failure and the problem persists.
Hi Bilinbaja,
I don't know if you use FTP to download the files, however, this error can sometimes refer to a hardware problem. Please try to turn hardware acceleration by clicking on an element using the flash plug-in and selection of parameters.
Please let us know if this improves the performance as well as if this also happens on other computers, or if it still happens after you delete cache and cookies. Each browser has its own cache, Firefox's cache may also be longer. How to clear the Firefox cache
This aid? We look forward to your response.

I use PS extended 6. It works well, but it will not be updated. I'll take a notice in my application creative cloud he has an update waiting. I'll click on the UPDATE button and it works 100% and then give me a update failure message.
I fixed the old-fashioned way. Uninstall - reinstall. Works fine now.

Error when downloading files with Firefox 33
Hello
in our society, we all use firefox (various versions) use our CRM (SugarCRM).
Given that some of the PC (with windows 7) update to Firefox version 33 (64-bit) we started having problem downloading PDF:"C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Temp\[tempfilename].part could not saved, because the file source could not be read."
We tried to go down to Firefox 32 and everything seems to work very well.
I already tried to delete the profile, reinstall Firefox, clear the cache, delete the profile folder, but nothing helped.May this be a bug in Firefox 33?
Thank youAlong the lines of the last post, what happens if you stop to tell the web server that you accept compressed files of Firefox? Here's how:
(1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
(2) in the search above the list box, type or paste enco and pause so that the list is filtered
(3) double-click the preference network.http.accept - encoding and
(A) if it has the default value (the line is not in bold), delete all the text, and then click OK.
(B) if it has a custom value, copy the current value in a safe place for later use possible, then delete all the text and click OK.
When you visit the site again, Firefox should omit the usual headers, saying he accepted gzip/deflate-encoded responses. Any difference?

Impossible to download files, but can download them
I recently got a new modem/router to the cable company, now I can not download files. I studied the responses and found that it could be the router. Any help out there?
Hello
1. what happens when you try to download the files?
2. do you get an error message?
3. what operating system you are using on the computer?4. what application you use to upload and download files?
5. is the relevant question for a particular application? You can disable the antivirus installed on the computer software and check.
Disable the antivirus software:
Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Disable-antivirus-software
Windows Vista: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Disable-antivirus-software
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

11 Firefox hangs frequently for about 6 seconds for each click as switching between tabs, closing tabs, opening new tabs.
by clicking a link etc,
3.6.17 worked well, but 11 Firefox is too slow.
problem is the same with version 4 and 4.01
can someone please help me to solve my problemI'm sorry that you have problems with Firefox doesn't work is not as fast as it should. I'd like to help you here so that you manage Firefox running at great speed.
Firefox, try to start Firefox in Safe Mode. It temporarily disables your extensions, customizations, etc. so that we can see if they slow down Firefox. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then it is probably a problem with the add-on. Restart Firefox in normal mode, and then type "subject: addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions, restart Firefox between each one, until you find the troublemaker. Once you do, you can disable this add-on.
I also see you have advise McAfee Site. I would recommend disabling that, as it is known to cause leaks of massive memory than Firefox slow down
If Safe Mode does not work, you can also try updating your graphics card driver. Update your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL reading can show you how to do this.

Cannot download files with plupload using Firefox 7 / Aurora (beta)
I'm unable to download a file (using drag - move OR select file) with plupload and Firefox 7.
Everything worked fine with Firefox 6. When I try to download a file with plupload, firefox thinks I'm trying to install an extension.
I had the same problem. Today, I upgraded to the latest version of Plupload and now it works again!

- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.
- 'Delete Cookies' of sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

I can't download the files. After you have selected to download the files, it 'download' in the list of downloads, but never actually download the file into a directory any.
I've followed all the advice found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Unable%20to%20download%20or%20save%20files?as=aaq#w_reset-the-download-folder
still no improvement. any help would be appreciated. I use opera for downloads until I can find a solution to this.
You must set your test AV to exclude the extension .part in your AV, Firefox creates a file temporary .part during a download.

Whenever I try to download a 'broad' file Firefox continues to ask me:
Firefox needs your consent to download large files.
Please, click ALLOW to continue with your transfer. If you do not see the application, please click on the icon next to the address bar.
I didn't have this kind of problems before up to that new version, I'm so frustrated that I think really switch to Chrome instead.
And in case anyone is wondering, there isn't an icon request at ALL.
