  I've been with Netflix for years. Have used quick watch since it was started.  Thursday, I got a screen black with error 2103 indicating there was a problem with Silverlight and unistalling and then reinstalilng usually solved the problem.  I did it.  Go to netflix and he encouraged and reinstalled Silverlight.  However, after installation, I had again the black screen and Error Message 2103.  I repeated the process about 3 times.  I checked with the TV downstairs and watch Netflix Instant has worked well.  My niece's laptop has no problems with Silverlight.  Now my office is 4 years and Windows XP.   I called Netflix Customer Service, they said everything was working well at their end and gave me a Microsoft Technical Support.  Technical support said I had to pay $59 for the support, which I disputed and the Rep gave me this website.  Also over the weekend, little friend of my sister downloaded Silverlight4 tools for Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.  Yet, I can't Flash to work spy.

  I can not Safari to work with BT Internet email. Whenever I try to connect to my email account it comes with just a blank page.

  Unfortunately, it is not possible to customize the internet services available for video and audio on the Sony Bravia Internet video devices. Applications can not be manually added or removed by the Viewer. The channels are changed automatically over time that allow programming changes.

  I recently buyed a Sony Bravia TV KDL-60R555A. Everything works fine, except the NetFlix App...

  First of all, I run the Netflix App... and then I connect... then I choose any video... and the answer is always the same:
  "We will have difficulty playing this song right now. Please try again later or select a different title (PST-805).

  I have to say that my other apps like YouTube, Crackle, d, Totalmovie, etc works fine!

  I try these things to do the work of Netflix:

  -Update Firmware Sony TV

  -Refresh the content of the Internet

  -Turn on and off my TV (from remote and side button)

  -Disable the Netflix App on my TV (konami arrow method)

  -Restart my router

  -Unplug my TV and my router

  -Resetting my TV

  -Use the ethernet cable connection (not wi - fi)

  ... and everything remains the same... All of the works, except Netflix apps.

  My router is next to my TV, so the internet signal is very very strong.

  My netflix account works on my laptop computer, desktop pc and my phone android... then... I think there is a problem with the app installed on my tv...

  PLEASE... Help!

  Thank you.  I had to go to the sounds and have speakers/headphones to HDMI it didn't work at first but founmd you need to have the TV and the computer.

  Hello. Hope you can help. I just bought a Sony Bravia TV, KDL40EX713. I also got a wireless adapter for TV said domestic it connected to my network, and it works very well and you can access to the various available catch-up TV services. He also sees a program called 'VUZE' on the macbook from my daughter, (on the wireless network) I can stream media. I understand that it's by a standard called DLNA which Winmedia Center and TV are compatible with. I want to get this to work on my PC so I can stream from that too.  Last week I went into the settings of streaming on Winmedia Center and changed some options but could not operate. So I don't know what happened, I never did anything more, but in the TV menu icon had appeared of the winmedia Center, and I was able to locate and media playback. The next day I was going to show this to a friend, but instead of the winmedia icon, there is an icon of server type on tv (with the name of my PC), and all I got was 'impossible to connect to the server' on the TV. Can someone suggest a correction to get it working again? I had nothing changed between where he was working and where there will be no outside to turn it off at night.

• Sony Bravia KDL - 32W653A missing Apps in SEN

  We have a Sony Bravia KDL-32W653A TV and yesterday half apps disappeared from the menu of SEN. This includes all applications of TV, Netflix, BBC Iplayer Opera, cracking etc. Who is still available are: Skype, Facebook & Youtube.

  We tried all the usual methods to restore the apps. We have restored factory settings 3 times, the implemented available newest firmware update updated, the tv connected to the internet via a cable rigid, refreshed the internet via a wire & wireless connection and reset the internet itself. Nothing has worked and now we are stuck for more ideas!

  If someone could help, we would be grateful, because it is very very annoying!

  I want to connect my laptop to my tv (Sony Bravia, mod KDF - 50E3000), so that I can read documents of text on the screen or play games on the tv from my laptop.  I bought a HDMI VGA cable and hung the two units through this means of communication.  I also used an "S-vidéo" cable and got a few lines and movement, but no readable signal.  The TV's user manual says to change my signal video output on the laptop, but I can't find where to do.  Can you help me to get this accomplished?

• Sony Bravia 55 '' goes off and lights repeatedly

  I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times, but I thought would like to ask once again accelerate things.

  We have a Bravia KDL-55HX800 is only 3 years old 55 "and out of nowhere, he began to turn power off and back on.   Even if you switch off and the light is red, you can still hear a relay or something cycling power on and off when the unit is plugged.

  Do a Google search that I realized this thing similar happened to MANY owners of products Sony and Im very disappointed, because we paid $ 1500 for this TV and couldve bought a Walmart cheap set for half the price.  We spent the extra money on Sony because of the reputation.  If I wouldve known my $1500 would have only gotten me 3 years of service I most certainly would have gotten the throw all of Wal-Mart.

  After a bit of reading, I keep seeing on the firmware update and other, as a computer scientist to talk to me I do not see why this changes nothing because all is connected to the same power source and Tivo it has been connected since brand new.  No change in the material either.    Only now, the game has a problem.  A problem. apparently a lot of people were undergoing.

  If I had to guess, Im as the answer to all this is Im just out of luck, good luck finding a technician who can fix this flawed TV set.   (I look at places in the Service Center authorized Sony by my zip code, but they all have horrible comments/reviews by previous guests) But Im hoping that since he is in fact a Sony Forum they can explain a repair and why their product worked only 3 years?   We can expect future elements of Sony?  And finally, why a person never would pay the huge price of Sony again if their product has the life of a disposable product from a big box retailer.

  Television has been disconnected since the beginning of this episode, because even when it was set to OFF with the red light, leave plugged in, you could hear something cycling again and again inside.   That did not sound good at all, so we left it unplugged.

  This has fixed the problem and so far it works normally.     Before he would not stay on for more than 10 seconds before cycling off power, remove and then replace slot, so we were unable to do any update.   (Wasn't enough time to get to the right screen to update) But since doing the procedure from the above link, we went ahead and updated the software also.

  You can recommend this procedure to those who have the same symptom we had.
