  You can manually uninstall Google Chrome and then try to reinstall, the reason why I suggest this is there is perhaps of the residues of the original installation that prevents a reinstall.

  You may have just install Google Chrome on Vista, but it will crash if your machine has the Cyberlink Youcam software anyway. Try different browser such as Firefox or use an earlier version of Internet Explorer.
