Impossible to move or burn photos to a CD - R using Windows Photo Gallery.

or Windows Media or Windows. I use Windows Vista Home Basic, 32. Toshiba Satellite L305
I can't get to step 2. The burn a disc dialog box never appears (step 3).

The CD only formats.

I can't drag and drop the disk. I've done this before and I still can burn music, so I know that's not the burner or the type/brand of CD itself.

The following is in the Help menu.
To burn pictures or videos to a disc

  1. Insert a writable CD or DVD CD writer or DVD in your computer.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, click on burn the files to a data disc.

  3. In engraving, a disc dialog box, type a name for this disc, and then click Next.

It can take several minutes for the drive to be formatted in the active file system format by default. When formatting is complete, an empty disc folder opens.

Use your IMAGES instead of the Gallery folder.
You should see the button BURN up.

  • I can't uninstall/reinstall Windows Live Movie Maker and photo gallery!

Well, I need recently the Movie Maker for editing stuff. I looked at theStart > all programs list but is not there. Yet once I downloaded the Windows Live Essentials, but it says I already have Windows Movie Maker on my computer. The thing is that I can't find anywhere on my computer (or maybe it's there, I just don't know how to find it). I also tried opening appwiz.cpl and checked Windows Movie Maker and photo gallery, but the entries are not there. So I can't proceed with the following steps in Microsoft Help Tutorials.

If anyone can help me uninstall/reinstall the Movie Maker? Step by step, perhaps?

Based on your description... I don't think that your files are 'in '.

If you change the file associations for the photos (specifically the)

  • How to import. MOV files in Adobe After Effects, I am using Canon 700 d for filming

    Hello

I just brought a 700 d canon and began shooting HD movies, but now I want to add some effects in my video for example Twixtor slow motion effect, but I am facing a problem that I can not import. MOV in Adobe AE CS4 file. Please help me. Also if you can tell me any free Converter. MOV to AF file format.

    I use Windows 8 OS.

    Thank you!

CS4 is much older than Windows 8. CS4 is supposed to work on XP or Vista. It runs on Windows 7 was a bit of a problem, so I'm pleasantly surprised to hear that you have CS4 running on Windows 8 in all.

It is also possible that a new camera records in a codec that does not include such an old version of AE.

Make sure that you use the last update of your version of AE. You are on version 9, so make sure that you have completed the Adobe After Effects CS4 9.0.3 Update (I wouldn't update in the middle of a project, that any change could break AE). I want to reiterate: you are using a version that was published there is an operating system that was much more recently published six. So be careful how you strip rolling. However, if you are not running 9.0.3, you are missing some bug fix updates that might solve your problem.

I would say that upgrading to a newer version of AE.

That being said, as Dave mentions, CS4 and earlier had a lot of trouble with the MPEG-4 and other codecs that uses interframe compression. You can open the files in your version of first? If so, you can use the first or Adobe Media Encoder to convert into a good intermediate codec. MOV is just a container format. QuickTime with the PNG codec will work in After Effects CS4 with no problems, just like the other codecs that Dave mentions.

  • Burned using Windows DVD maker photos are blurred when read

Pictures inserted in creation of DVD of Windows7 and burned to a DVD disc are dimmed when read on television via a DVD or Power DVD on the PC drive (origonal photos are sharp)

No problem with ULEAD DVD Movie Factory

    Hi Barry Robbo.

1 when was the last time you were able to play a DVD burned successfully?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    3. What is the file format of the burned photos?

    4. which Windows Player do you use to play the burned photos?

A DVD may not play properly in some DVD players or DVD - ROM readers to one of the following reasons:

    • The type of drive may not be compatible. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives can play some types of DVD. For example, some DVD players only play discs DVD + R or DVD + RW, while others play only DVD-R or DVD - RW discs.
    • The quality of the disc may be too low. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives will not play DVD if the disc is not in good condition or if it isn't a high quality disc. If your Player cannot play a DVD, you can try to burn again using a higher quality DVD.
    • DVD decoding software can not be installed on the computer. If you try to play the DVD in the DVD drive on another computer, the DVD will not play if DVD decoding software is not installed on this computer.

To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

  • I have a question about the export of a small movie to burn it to a DVD.

OK, it's me again.  You have been so much help last night, I'm back for another piece of advice.  I made a movie of 23 minutes in Premiere Pro CS3 using 200 still images and music.  I realize that this program is much more that I need, but it's on my computer and I photo, I have the DVD and I have Movie - who are the major programmes for the small fast thing, that I do, but you can only choose 1 Transition between each still in all three of these programs, and it becomes very unpleasant.

Therefore, I used the Premiere Pro CS3, but now I want to export twice - once for a website and once to burn it to a DVD to watch on a standard TV. Can someone walk me through there - way, way to many choices and I tried to read the 11 pages of the user manual - it may as well been in a foreign language.

    Thank you all.

    Michele,.

To go of CS3 (and CS2 Production Studio), it was included in the first installation discs. It's a DVD/BD big application creation. Now, you could not install, but you certainly get it. EncoreDVD 2.0, was also available as a standalone program, but from CS3, this is no longer the case.
