The HTTPService gives me nothing; any error, no cases of success, no invoke. When I freeze the program and look at the "srv", it does not seem to contain any thing useful, like whether to take data from.

The "Data.xml" is both in the src folder and parent his folder, and it looks like this:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >
    < root >
    < chart >

    < x > 2 / < x >
    < y > 4 / < y >
    < / set >
    < / chart >
    < / root >

    Why does this work?

    Hello

I can't see in your code you are using srv.send ().

Try calling srv.send () on the creation complete event handler to load the xml file.

  • How to use FM OmegaT processed XML files?

How to convert files in XML (or any other file format that supports the file format that can be used in T Omega) FM so that it can be imported into the translation software open source OmegaT?

I have a use [Save as] create an XML file, an error message appears when I try to import in Omega T and but I'm unable to translate the file.

I am trying to use XML files for translation into Omega T, is because in the past, the person who is in charge of editing the file FM would create a text file with sentences to be translated. I would then import the text file in OmegaT to translate and send the text file with the phrases translated to the editor. This could then be edited in a file of FM.

It would not be a problem if the content to be translated was small. But in some cases there is a large amount of content that must be translated which would take more time to change the FM files.

What I want to know is if I could use a file format that can be used in Omega T and then be able to convert this file to FM without the Publisher re - edit the file.

    Concerning

    Denjiba-manual

With regard to the function "Save as XML" in FrameMaker:

You may know that in FrameMaker, you can work with 'structured' and regular documents.

When you use "Save as XML" with a document ordinary FM, the resulting XML is simply an output format and are not suitable for reopening in FM. You can translate the XML resulting, but once you return to the FM file, you need to reapply the formatting and the initial numbers back into place. (At least this is what I know of FM8.)

Otherwise, when you work with an application of structure in FM, you can save documents structured FM in XML format for editing. This means, you can change (translate) the XML document outside FM and open the (translated) XML file published in FM.

    OmegaT regarding:

I see two ways of translating a document of FM with OmegaT. For both, you will need the Okapi Framework to convert your files into an intermediate format.

One way requires that your document is a document structured in FM, you can save in XML format for editing. The XML document has probably none of the types of documents that can be translated immediately OmegaT. You can, however, use a utility of the framework of the Okapi to extract translatable text in the XML document in a XLIFF file. Later, you can merge the translated text in the original XML file, which you can bring in FM.

The other way is similar, but starts with an of FrameMaker MIF file. In this case, regardless of whether or not the document of FM is structured. Of course, there is a MIF Filter for the frame of the Okapi, which allows you to extract the translatable text of MIF in an XLIFF file. Just like above, you can later merge the translated text in the original MIF file. However, the MIF Filter is in beta state, so don't expect it to work perfectly.

More on the Okapi Framework can be found at http://okapi.opentag.com.

All that being said, I only played a bit with OmegaT and Okapi. At work, I use an old version of Trados.

Strictly speaking, XML files is not 'lines', they have elements.

Sounds like you want to use the DBMS_XMLDOM package to process the XML nodes.

As far as I KNOW, Microsoft is not an add-on for Firefox can be opened from Excel in Firefox. It may or may not work properly depending on whether this Web site uses a MIME type for files it delivers.

Another way to handle that would be via Open Office or free agency; both are open source (free) that allows to display files XLS (Excel) , and both programs have a Mozilla browser plugin to allow Firefox to open the 'Calc' of these programs.

  • problem with opening pdf file of the web browser

I have Acrobat Pro ver 6 and Adobe Reader 9.1 on a computer.  When my user tries to open a pdf file from the web as it gets the following error message:

"Adobe Acrobat/Reader that not running to view the PDF files in a WEb browser.  ADBE Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required.  Quit and try again. »

What also happens is that Acrobat Pro 6 worm opens and nothing is there.

I don't know why he received this message from Reader 9.1 is installed.

One can shed some light on this for me.

This user must have Acrobat and Reader on its system.  I understand that there are problems with having both.

It has also set up so that any PDF opens using Reader 9.1.

    Thank you

Configuration of your PC drive by default for embedded PDFs has become confused, because of multiple solutions of Adobe PDF documents installed on a PC.

    Solution 1:

    Go to start > run

Type regedit, and then click OK.

Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Software\Adobe\Acrobat\Exe

Make sure that the correct default data value is set to the path where are installed the Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

    The default installation values are:

    "C:\Program 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe Adobe.

    or

"C:\Program Files\adobe\acrobat 6.0\acrobat\Acrobat.exe" (not sure of this path.  Make sure that on your PC)

If Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat is installed.

    Solution 2:

Configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application.

If you use Firefox to browse the web, you can change this setting in Firefox by clicking on:

    Tools > Options

    Click on the "Applications" tab

The first item in the list should be "Adobe Acrobat Document".  In the Action list, click the drop-down arrow and select the application you want to read a PDF file in the web browser.  Click OK and you should be done.

If you use Internet Explorer to view a PDF file, try the steps below.

After you configure Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application, the browser starts the helper application in a separate window and displays PDF files within this window. Acrobat and Adobe Reader both include a preference that allows you to specify the Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application.

To configure Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application:
    Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
    Choose Edition > Preferences.
    Select Internet on the left.
Deselect Display PDF in browser using [Acrobat application], and then click OK.
    Quit Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
The next time you select a link to a PDF file in the browser, a dialog box asking what you want to do with the file. If you select open, the browser opens the PDF file in Acrobat or Adobe Reader (request for assistance); If you select save it on the disk, the browser saves the PDF file on your hard drive.

  • Is it possible to get the object of doc JS of a PDF document that is opened in a web browser?

As I mentioned in a previous post on the Scripting Forum (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/427791), methods that previously worked in Acrobat 8 to get the object of doc JS of a PDF document that is opened in a web browser - for example App.activeDocs . using the JS object and AcroApp.GetAVDoc (index). GetPDDoc using OLE automation - no longer works in Acrobat 9.  Therefore, in Acrobat 9, it is impossible to access a PDF file that is opened in a browser or in its annotations (except, of course, the PDF is downloaded to the computer and open through the NTFS, which kind of defeated the purpose).

What is someone is aware can explain how to get the object of doc JS of a PDF document that is opened in a web browser?

If the plugin exposes a DDE interface - of course.  But this assumes that he is there--it is not automatic.  You will need to write your own plugin or get an update if necessary.

And thanks for the info: I'm passing along!

    Hi Mark

Believe me it s no big deal the same thing happens from time to time on my laptop
Usually, PDF files can be read with the Adobe Acrobat reader software. This service application runs in the context of the BONE and this message can be displays if the Adobe Acrobat reader software can not close the background automatically process

I solved that little problem by deleting the software acrobat reader from the system. After restarting again I reinstalled it again
