Impossible to print the web page in Firefox

Since the evolution of the browser Firefox as my default browser, I can't print. Works very well with Explorer, but not Firefox. I printed a test page and printer removed OK. I made sure that my printer is selected, and I also tried the suggestion of "reset" which help to provided Firefox. Also, when I start now I asks me to reinstall my printer and did a few times.

1. When you did the reset, you have reset all the preferences for this printer? Or just the main prefs?

2 did you do the reset after you have reinstalled the printer software?

3. what brand and model printer is this?

  • Impossible to print a Web page using photosmart premium c309a using Internet Explorer 9.

    I just installed Internet Explorer 9. Now, I can't print a Web page using my network photosmart premium c309a. I also have a Photosmart c6250 networked and I peut print for her. What gives? Am I missing something? I know that this is a known problem by searching the problem and Windows solution does not help.  I have no problem with the c309a print when I go to the internet, it's just a problem of Web page with IE9.  All/any help would be appreciated.

    HP helped me by making me install a different driver. Download and install the printer driver 6980. After installation, go to the printer properties and add a new Standard TCP/IP port and use IP address for the c309a.  I don't think I'm missing something, but I received the information from their chat support.  Then, when you want to print from IE9, choose the 6980 printer (which is actually the c309a printer).  This HP support doesn't help.  You must talk to a living person who knows something about printers.

    I hope this helps.  In fact, I switched to Mozilla Firefox as my default long ago, and it works very well with the c309a printer.  I only got this solution because I could be chatting with them on another printer and I mentioned that I could not print from IE9.

  • Cannot print the web page using Mozilla

    Hello!

    I hope someone can help us!  We just bought a printer HP all-in-one Officejet 6500 E709n series.  It is connected running.  We can print web pages of Internet Explorer and can copy and scan.  However - we do not like to use Internet Explorer.  We use Mozilla Foxfire.  (For security). The printer will not print web pages when we use Mozilla.  We assume it has something to do with maybe a firewall connected to Mozilla, but we do not know how to get around that.  Can someone help us with this?  Thank you very much.

    Blessings,

    Elaine P.

    Your problem could result in requesting the addition of HP Smart Web Printing browser attempts to load for an older version of firefox, the latest version of Firefox 3.6.3 detects add it in and disables it.

    If this is the case, you can upgrade to the latest version of Firefox or uninstall HP Smart Web Printing from the control panel.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi @macbqe,

    I read your post and see that it is not a print option to print from the browser. I can help you with this.

    What browser do you use?

    Try another browser to see if you have the same results.

    Most likely, the menu is hidden in the browser.

    You can try to hold down the button of keyboard control and then press the P button on the keyboard to see if you get the print window. Select your print, and then click on print.

    If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the "Thumbs up" button below. Thank you.

  • Print the Web page Table

    I develop in JDeveloper 11.1.1.6

    My request has currently 8 pages it contains. I want to provide functionality to print each page so that users can print data that are rendered on the screen. Each of my pages will display data in a read-only table.

    On each of these pages, I have a button that users can click. Each of the boxes to invoke a fileDownloadActionLister that calls a method in my grain of support to create a PDF report. The PDF report is sent to the browser and the user can do whatever they want with it. Which works very well.

    I have my button vision print something similar. Perhaps he could create the same report PDF and dialog rather than give the user the windows 'Save', I want to give to the window of dialogue 'Print' Windows. An alternative would be a function of ADF print the array returned within the page.

    Could you please advise on how I might be able to achieve this desired printing features.

  • Impossible to center the Web page in the browser window!

    Hello! I have searched and tried almost everything to Center my Web page in the browser window, but it does not work!

    This is the page: www.claudechalhoub.com. I want that page is centered regardless of the size of browser window!

    I have included the following code in my html code:

    < style type = "text/css" >

    {body
    text-align: center; / * For the IE6.
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    min-width: 770px;
    background-image: url(pictures/lastimage.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-color: #000;
    do-family: "Palatino Linotype", "Book Antiqua", Palatino, serif;
    color: #FFF;
    make-style: normal;
    }
    {#wrapper}
    Width: 770px;
    Auto margin: 0;
    text-align: left;
    }
    ...
    < / style >

    And then I realized:

    < body >

    < div id = 'wrapper' >
    < div id = "ap_text" > "the beauty of the music of Claude Chalhoub, is that it is not 'new' at all. This sounds familiar, even if you have never listened to music Arabic (or classical music) at all. As if it had always been there. It is as natural as breathing. "And it's this great art is all about - what makes the difficult seem easy." < / div >

    ...

    < / div > <! - close the tag div wrapper - >

    < / body >

    I don't know what the problem of not working!

    Any guidance?

    Your background image for the "body" tag contains the image that you used in it also. It's a bad habit. Just use a background image wide 5px and use it in your body background tag. Repeat with horizontally to fill your screen.

    Put your photo in a DIV inside the 'wrapper' div position it accordingly.

    In addition, you used an "absolute" on all items positioning on your website. Their position relative to the tag parent for best results.

  • Headers and footers truncated in print the web page

    This problem started when I installed the HP software on a new machine of Windows 8, IE 10 running.  The printer is an Officejet 6500 E709n.  Windows print preview displays the headers and footers, but with all the margins of valeur.75 and Shrink-to-Fit turned on, I get just the lower 1/3 of headers and the top of page footers with space 1/3 empty above and below the respective lines.  I followed the suggestions posted on the deletion of the current copy of the HP software, and download and install a new copy, but there is not change.

    Any suggestions?

    Windows 8, you are limited to 10 Internet Explorer version, but the Microsoft community had discussed the issue and suggested reset internet options advanced.  It was a minor hassle to redo some of my settings, but it corrected the problem.  Headers and footers are correctly IE10 impression.

    Thanks for your suggestions and help

  • When printing a web page using Internet Explorer, the printed document is a mirror image.

    I have HP Officejet Pro L7780 and Windows 7 64-bit operating system. When I print a page of a Web site that is in PDF using Internet Explorer, the printed page is a mirror image.  If I print the same page of Firefox, the page prints fine.

    Also, I recently put my husbands computer so he could also print to this printer via the network.  When I printed an email on my printer from a computer, it is also printed as a mirror image.

    I assumed that you helped the mny users, that's why I waited long before I asked again.  Thank you.  I assigned added another printer driver using your instructions.  It worked.  I'm now able to print correctly.  Thank you!

  • print the contents of the web pages of android Tablet

    When I try to eprint from a web page, the web address line prints very well (with a bass line which reads: "sent from Samsung tablet"), but nothing about the content, even if print all preview shown on the page that I needed. Help, please!   The content of the web pages is an attachment and if so, how do I get an attachment to print?

    Hi TurboLady,

    Thank you for the update.  I appreciate it.  You read the document.

    The best way to print the content of the site is to print the web page using the browser in the HP ePrint app.  Please download and install the shop HP ePrint from the play of Google Mobile app . For reference, I have included the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ document.

    Please let me know how it works for you.
