Impossible to re - install C3180 on XP Home
I can implement the C3180 as a printer/scanner using the Windows Wizard but seem unable to re - install using the diskette or download of the installation (which is currently running) the HP site.
First attempt lasted 25 hours - I used the Task Manager to end the installation and Windows reported that the program did not. Sent an email to the Support of HP - no response. When I closed Windows received a quick flash of an error message which, I believe, has shown the error 105
Second attempt lasted 10 hours - TM used to close does not. This time I had closed all programs that I could before starting the installation. Seny e-mail to support HP - no response. Error message fast flash on closure - too fast to read.
HP sent a form error help install on the desktop - used it - same result.
Today, I ran the download - still ongoing after 2 hours. I disabled the Virus Checker - with some trepidation. How long an installation should take?
I can use the printer/scanner, but analysis documents using this configuration translates into BMP files that I can't change. I need once again install the OCR. Suggestions - please
To abandon the installation once again as grandchildren are due soon and son traing are a recipe for disaster!
SOLVED - by mistake! I became so exasperated by the constant failure of re - install I tried to shut down Windows without using TM to complete the installation process. I received message that installation was still in progress and would abort the closure. what I did and - installation instructions Connect USB received immediately and the installation is complete in a short period of time. Scanned and edited the document and saved from a local school a big problem.
Thanks to Sofia from the HP Support that came back with a solution that has advised a less radical solution. If the installation stops then Sofia suggests using TM to find wrapper in the process and close. This should have the same result. Thank you Sofia.
Hope this helps others

installed my windows 7 Home Premium on a new hard drive, but it says my key is invalid. I bought this copy of the microsoft store and have retained the email with the key.
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.

If you own a SONY and had all kinds of problems with it, you know very well that the generic Windows drivers are useless. Graphics Accelerator GONE. GONE HDMI video. HDMI audio GONE. I have wasa able to locate the hidden restore partition which seems to be the x 64 based original Home Premium version, on the dates of the files.
QUESTION: Using the system recovery utility built into Vista, FULL it is possible for me to return somehow to the x 64 Home Premium version? The recovery Partition was photographed on your hard drive during the manufacturing process to do what you want.
He was photographed for put your computer back to factory settings (the way that you bought).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Can I do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home and use the old product key?
Hello
I got a laptop from a former employer who removed the hard drive before give me the computer.
I installed a new hard drive and you want to do a fresh install.
The previous operating system was Windows 7 Pro OA Enterprise Edition and I have the product key for it.
Can I do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home and use the old product key?
and after that I still increases to 10 Windows using the same product key?
Concerning
Regrow72
If you have plans to upgrade to Windows 10 Home, I would skip trying to reinstall Windows 7 and go directly to Windows 10.
You can use your family Windows 7 product key to install Windows 10, learn how:
How to install and activate Windows 10 using your Windows 7 or Windows 8 product key
Step 1: How to download official Windows 10 ISO files
Step 2: how: perform a clean installation of Windows 10
If you are experiencing problems activating Windows 10, see:
Activate your Windows 10 license with Microsoft Chat support
I recommend to go to Windows 10 now while you can, because Microsoft will stop the free upgrade offer at the end of July:
Windows 10 free upgrade offer ends July 29 as planned
Microsoft to remove Windows Notification Nag upgrade 10
Resources:
Windows Free Upgrade on schedule 10 to end July 29, 2016 - what are your options?
If you still want to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium, please see:
For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.
It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.
Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:
How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?
Make sure you scroll down and read the section:
What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?
Is this possible and how? : install a Windows 7 Home Premium OEM from a laptop to a netbook with a Windows XP OEM computer
No, this is not possible.
The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:
-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft
-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on
-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard
-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system
The clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 without installation disc.
Hello
I recently bought a Toshiba laptop with a Home Premium Windows 7 x 64 preload version. It has not come with a Windows installation disc. I want to reformat the hard drive and put on a clean version of the same operating system. Right now my only solution is to find someone with a disk or an iso. Which turns out to be harder than I thought. Is it possible to make an image of Win 7 Win 7 without having to make a picture?
I also own a copy of Windows 7 pro x 64. Can I use this disc to install, with the key of Win 7 Home Premium?
Thank you
FatherFinch
If you perform a "clean" of Windows 7 Home Premium installation, you will need to buy Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Someone else using Windows 7 disk is not allowed under the terms of the license Microsoft Softrware.
Q: I also have a copy of Windows 7 pro x 64. Can I use this disc to install with Win 7 Home Premium key?
A. No
Setup running on the HP disc will not work. No error message, stops just until it loads the installation program.
I downloaded the site Installer Internet HP (versions complete and base). Same results - cannot run the installation program.
I contacted Toshiba, which says it's a problem of Windows 7, and communicate with Microsoft.
I installed this printer at least 10 times on some other operating systems without problem.
I want a wireless printer that prints, scans, and faxes, but impossible to get the installer to run.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
After you download the product from the Adobe store, I ran and files were extracted and stored in the Adobe CS3 folder. Problem installing Microsoft Office 2007 Home and student
Hello
I'm all new to Microsoft Office home & student, so this is a newbie question.
I bought this product this morning and went to install it. He said it was impossible to configure error and immediately stopped the configuration.I have a trial MS Office on my computer also. Specifically, I wanted an an installation CD because I feel more comfortable with it on the download of this product without the CD.
I wondered if this product would not configure/install unless I entered the product key of the box in the trial version. I did this and MS Office seemed to configure/install itself without further problems.What is the proper way to install this program? I hope that I will still have 3 PC licenses which were indicated on the product itself to do this way.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you very much.Uninstall the trial 1st Office.
