  • HP 2509 m screen flashes and turns off using a HDMI Cable entry

I have problems with my new HP2509m monitor. When I connect to my cable box using the HDMI connection the screen image flashes for a few seconds and then goes black for a few seconds and continues to do so. The time interval varies from May 3 to 6 seconds in each phase.

It's the second monitor I got that this behavior. When I bought my system in October I ordered the 23 "monitor and it worked fine with the HDMI input, but I had trouble with the PC and he traded. The 2509 was introduced at the same time so I decided to share my monitor 23 "to 25", but now I'm regretting this decision. The main reason I bought the extra monitor should have the opportunity to move to the HDMI input for TV viewing, save space in my office.

I tried the monitor using the same HDMI cable plug into the HDMI from my computer and the light is very good, so it seems to be a problem with the signal from the cable, but everything worked with the 23 "monitor leaving I think there is an issue with tuner HDMI monitor 2509.

I searched the documentation on the HP site and google search but have found nothing of the sort. Someone has seen this and is there a solution for this? I like to keep the monitor. Thank you.

Apparently, I was early to the part of the questions of this monitor.

It turns out that the monitor is not compatible with the decoder I've had. The box is made by the Asian Development Bank and is capable of displaying 1080I content. 1080I is not the issue but because I can use a HDMI to DVI adapter and connect to the monitor and it works OK; It is, so I don't have the computer plugged into the DVI connector as I wanted.

My cable provider was kind enough to take the monitor and test. They discovered that one of their old version of (amino) cable boxes works very well with the monitor. They swapped the box and it worked well since.

I use my cable provider HDMI cable, so I don't know the spec version that is.

My advice to anyone affected by the flashing HDMI display is to get a HDMI/DVI adapter and try it. They are supplied with a certain monitors so that they are fairly easy to find if you know someone who works in a computer SCIENCE Department. If the monitor displays the signal correctly then the question is probably the cable box or as another poster suggested, the cable can be out of spec.

It is convenient to have the double monitor as a TV. The image quality is superb, but the sound is not. I do not understand why manufacturers monitor for skimping on the speakers. A monitor with its 'premium quality' would be a point of sale, and buyers would be happy to pay for the upgrade. I don't know about a lot of people like me it's simplify - remove the clutter and cables of our offices. HP are you listening?

  • Why will my router stops transmitting the internet signal after that I turned off the host computer?

    Hi members of the community.

    first of all, my setup:

modem - router (wrt320n lynksis, yesterday I uplodaded latest firmware - it does not help)---(par câble), PC (windows 8)
    l
    l
various devices (cable TV, wireless: laptop computer (windows XP), phones (Iphone, android, phone etc.))
    Second question:
Until now, I had no problem with router, but as I connected the new PC, with windows 8 is installed, the router, I began to encounter the following problem: I turn the host computer (wired, PC with windows 8) off after a minute or two the router (if not always on) continues to transmit the internet signal with other devices (wired (TV) and other wireless).  What's also interesting is that, when I unplug the PC from the router ethernet cable (when the PC is turned off), the router begins to function normally. Why and how to fix it? It seems that the PC would stop the router in the transmission of the signal.
I would apreciate any help I could get. Because the router is working otherwise fine (when the computer host is turned on when the PC is disconnected from the it), I guess it has something to do with the windows configuration.
    Thank you all,.
    Sincerelly, Janez

Hi there... we have a different router, but I had exactly the thing happens to me when my husband bought his new computer. After hours of technical support that gave no results of our router manufacturer, I did some research on the web, a vast and I think I found the solution.

Go to control panel > system and security > system > Device Manager > network adapters > find your network card (mine says in time real PCIe GBE) open cela, go to power management and uncheck the BOX allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

After that I did that my router is no longer turns off/goes to sleep when my computer is. Offshore.

Give that a try, and if all goes well, it will help you too.

  • Flash, Acrobat and turning off printing

    I have CS4 Pro.

I used the "pdf2swf" tool to convert a PDF file into a Flash file. Works well.

By default, the Flash file can be printed (file/print).

I would like to disable printing so that the Flash file is 'read only' at the launch of the server.

But when I insert the Flsh file in Flash CS4, I'm not able to use Flash CS4 to turn off to print.

Please help me with instructions on how to remove/disable printing in Flash.

    Hello

To choose not to print any of the images in the main storyline, labeling a frame as! #p to make the SWF all unprintable folder. A framework such as labelling! #pdims the command print from the Flash Player context menu. You can also remove Flash Player context menu.

Disable printing from the context menu of Flash Player:

Open or activate the Flash (FLA file) document to publish.

Select the first keyframe in the main timeline.

Select window > properties > properties to view the property inspector.

In the property inspector, to enter image tag! #p to set the picture as nonprinting.

Specify only one! #p label obscure the print context menu command.

You can also select a blank frame (rather than a keyframe) and label it #p.

Disable printing by removing the context menu of Flash Player:

Open or activate the Flash (FLA file) document to publish.

    Select file > publishing settings.

Select the HTML tab and deselect the menu and click OK.

If you disable printing from Flash Player, the user can always use the print command to the browser to print images. Because this command is a browser feature, you can not use Flash to control or turn it off.

    Thank you!

  • How can I stop Firefox back to standard settings, whenever I turn off my PC?

I have configured my favorite story of the icons, print, House etc. in the places that I like them, but whenever I turn off my PC the next day, they are in the standard set & I do once again, more than a little irritating because there has never been a problem before & past only began when I upgraded to 33.1
Such things seem to happen whenever there is a upgrade, it got to a point where after years of use of Firefox I am seriously looking for a new default browser.

Like to illustrate my point, when I restarted Firefox just after installing the add-on of troubleshooting all my custom icon settings are gone AGAIN.

I had this same problem a month ago and put off the power of acceleration has helped some. Acceleration is always "off", but the problems are back. Also I am not able to scroll all the way to the bottom of a document, it returns control to the top. Somehow, this is related to the use of my mouse. I have no problem when I use IE as my browser. This leads me to the conclusion that it is specifically related to FF.

    I see...
    Try to reset your firefox.
Open a new tab, type Subject: press and then click on reset Firefox.
    This should solve your problem.

Firefox must not be opened when the Flash Installer is run. Use the information and the following instructions...

There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:

    • an ActiveX version for IE only

You don't seem to have the Plugin for Firefox installed version. If you did, in the Add-ons > Plugins you would see "Shockwave Flash (version)". If 'Shockwave Flash' is there and is disabled, click on the button "activate".

  • Screen of C850 - 1 H 8 satellite flashes and turns off using SSD and win 8

Hello, I bought a C850 - 1 H 8 of Ebuyer and I removed the hard drive installed windows 8 on it and installed my SSD, and then a clean installed Windows 7.

The laptop was working perfectly, and then after a little more than a month, the headphone jack has become defective intermittently. I contacted Toshiba, they picked up the computer laptop, fixed and returned.

When the returned laptop, I still pulled the hard drive provided with Windows 8 and replaced by my SSD with Windows 7 top.

The laptop screen started flashing on and outside. So I thought ok, they must have changed the material. Using the SSD even I formatted it and then reinstalled Windows 7.

I find that contrary to front - that my laptop according to the system information for Windows - is manufactured by LG and not Toshiba.
I also find that the desktop screen and startup splash turned into a screen LG and not an a Toshiba.

I contacted Toshiba and they gave me, told me to ask for a replacement from Ebuyer. I was passed between the two companies constantly. Then I took the hard line with Toshiba and said that they have damaged my computer and I want a replacement or I will not buy another Toshiba product.

I then return a petulant response from Toshiba, actually insinuating that aside from the faulty earphone Jack, it was my fault. Incredible.

I had not used my new laptop at all really after all of this, because I'm sick of all this. But today I started to use it again, and after some time of use, the screen flashes again. Even after using a new installation of Windows 7 and the clean use of Toshiba Windows 7 64 bit drivers for the right model.

    What can I do?

    See you soon

+ The message was edited summer - subject wire +.

    > When the laptop returned, I still pulled out the hard disk provided with Windows 8 and replaced by my SSD with Windows 7 top.

It was not good because headphones is part of the motherboard and I think they replaced the motherboard. In such cases, the bulk of the material is changed and do not use the same system pre-installed due to the compatibility of the driver. This can lead to physical problems.

But the screen flashes at the beginning with 8 win preinstalled?
Have you seen the LG sign turn on/off the unit after replacing the mobo?

Maybe service guy (ASP authorized service provider isn't Toshiba but independent company) I forgot to update the DMI and therefore LG sign appears on the screen.
But in my opinion this should not affect the screen but this should be verified using Toshiba original image (Windows 8)

    Hi Jean Claude,

Firefox can always run in the background. This happens sometimes. I suggest that you try to restart your computer, and then try to uninstall the old version. Alternatively, you can try to right click on the task bar, then opening the Task Manager. This will show you the list of processes currently running on your computer. If Firefox is running, you can manually kill the process.

There is also an article in the Knowledge Base containing information on what to do if the How to resolve the failure of the update of Firefox update error message. There is lots of useful information here.
