  Do you have Adobe Reader installed on your machine? I had a similar problem and it was related to an incompatibility with Adobe Drive, I uninstalled drive and everything worked fine.

  I am new to the community, so I hope I gave enough information background with my problem.

  When I was using VMWare Workstation 7 RC, enforcement would literally load in a few seconds. When I run Ccleaner, I get "unexpected error" messages and the program will not work correctly. So I uninstalled Ccleaner, but this has not fixed the problem with long load times. I also used the MSCONFIG Utility (such as published in a KB article) and hidden all the MS services and disabled the restrestarted, but it does not resolve the problem, either.

  Today, I made a Workstation 7 unistall and reinstalled Workstation 7, but same problem long loadtime. I am so puzzled as to why the RC version worked like lightning, and the retail version is so slow. All my other applications on my PC load and run fast as lightning.

  Have others experienced this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions, what else can be done to solve this problem?
