Impossible to uninstall Apple Software Update program, get the error "there is a problem with this Windows package install."

I need to uninstall the Apple software update program, but cannot.  Message reads as follows: "there is a problem with this Windows package install."  A requirement of the program to complete this installation could not be executed. Contact your provider to support personal or package.  I have Windows 7 Professional.

Hi, CA Bill.

Start the Windows Installer service.

1. Click Start, type Services.msc and press [ENTER]

2. double-click on Windows Installer.

3. set the Windows Installer to Manual startup type.

4. Click Start to start the service. Note the error message, if any.

5. click on OK.

Start uninstalling software Apple

If the above fails, use CCleaner uninstaller
