  Hello

  I am trying to import RAW + JPEG images of my new Canon EOS 80 d in Photos. When I try to choose images-> use BRUTE as the original , I get the following error message:

  Cannot switch Original.

  Pictures cannot move to the original because the RAW is not supported.

  I wonder now if the current version of Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update includes the 80 d EOS, and if not, when it will be updated.

  My version of Photos is:

  Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

  Digital Camera Support RAW 6181 (207)

  I have not seen the 80 EOS D on the RAW supports list - Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

  Because something is wrong.  Unfortunately, with OS X being composed of hundreds of thousands of files, you can not tell exactly what.

  To try to correct the problem, to completely reinstall your OS Mac El Capitan using stored on your Mac OS X Recovery boot disk recovery system.   It will take a few minutes, but he's going to reinstall a new copy of the El Cap OS with all latest updates.

  You're not talking Apple here.  It is a moderated forum for Apple to discuss features and troubleshooting. Apple-> system-> software update Preferences menu contains options to disable automatic downloads, although the Mac App Store update itself for Snow Leopard activates the automatic notifications of updates.  While a nuisance, you have just to tell more later, only choose to update once you have read the documentation to verify that its good operation with what you have.  Always back up your data before allowing updates.

  Mac: end of 2008 13 inch MacBook, 8 GB of RAM, Samsung 120 GB SSD, El Capitan OS X.

  I noticed the following-

  July 13 installed Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.20

  19 July, installed as part of the iTunes store update 12.4.2.

  What gives?

  Hmm, I've recently started using combo updates, update several MacBooks, copy of the update to a USB key.

  In the section "Installed updates in the last" 30 days, there were two entries as noted above. Report of the system, the facilities, it is also updated two 6.20 lists.

  Updates duplicate matter? The last replaces just previous?

  I've noticed recently that Aperture (3.6) will not open my. CRW files. I suspect that something has changed in the last Digital Camera RAW update (6.20) I have a few weeks back. Does anyone else have this problem?

  Have you tried to reinstall the RAW Support?  Sometimes the download from the App Store does not correctly install, then it helps to reinstall it from the downloads page.   Just loaded Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium Version 6 in the new PC, Windows 8.1.  Also have 5.0.2.4 bridge and the Camera Raw plugin 9.1.0.441.  Bridge will not load several images in Photoshop layers.  I suspect that the last Camera Raw plugin is not compatible with my PS-6.  What is the question?  My old PC with Windows VISTA has even Photoshop suite except with camera Raw plugin 7 and no problems.

  Please update the plugin raw from the camera for the last supported by Photoshop CS.

• App Store poster update completed/available (Camera RAW Compatibility 6.18)

  I'm under El Capitan v. 10.11.2 and I have an update available that just won't go away.  The App Store shows that it has been installed successfully two days ago still the same update is still in the 'Update available' section with a '1' in red on the App Store icon.  Is there a way to disable the available update or reinstall it uninstall the update and then two days ago?

  None of the devices in Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.17 for El Capitan are on the list of compatibility to Aperture.

  I am pleased to say, that my new Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ300 RAW format works well in opening 3.6 on MacOS X 10.11.3 El Capitan nevertheless.

  I would like to hear if other cameras for the latest Digital Camera RAW Compatibility updates also work well in opening 3.6, despite being not shown is not in the list of the opening, but work as part of the El Capitan: Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

  RAW format fine adjustment of the agreement - the faults of camera Apple for this device--are experiencing abnormally high values for 'Boost' and 'Hue Boost', but the colors and contrast are still very quiet.

  I can open the files and import them with LR, but I can't preview the files via the finder in OS x 10.9.5.

  Usually, it is done with the update of Digital Camera RAW provided by apple compatibility.

  Unfortunately, it seems Yosemite 10.10 can use the necessary Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.04 and El Capitan 10.11 ships with support for this camera, but there is no update that takes in charge that the Mavericks 10.9.5 camera.
