Open Windows Event Viewer. Access custom views-> administrative events. Search for recent error messages. Click on all errors and view the details here if they time things fail.

Hello, I had just fixed yesterday. I deleted the drivers and programs that accompanies it, it ends up being the lifecam software that comes with it interfering with Skype, thanks to all who help :)

I can't understand how get the audio works with built in chicony webcam when in a chat program or any program for that matter. I can record audio and reading later, but this isn't what I want to do. It's probably just something stupid that miss me... but any help would sure be appreciated... I tried with Windows Live and Yahoo messenger, and so far all I can do is wave to people LOL. I was never able to get it to work... any ideas?
Today I bought a Logitech Quickcam for notebooks in case the problem is with the construction in camera. I don't want to install it unless absolutely necessary and think I would need to uninstall the Chicony to make it work... someone can point me in the right direction?
I just want to be able to talk to my grandchildren...

First remove the old webcam software. Reboot the laptop. Clean the registry and the system using the CCleaner (it of free). Reboot the laptop again one and then install the new software of webcam!

I installed a video for jwin JC-800 on webcam on my windows xp pc. I used the disc of the included software to install drivers, etc... When using the sites web cirtain to activate the camera, such as windows live instant messaging, it stops the pc.
The cam is also up when trying to use the "audio and video Setup" prompt Windows live instant messaging to adjust the parameters of the cam for a display of web cam or video call, although sometimes it will start and run ok on messengr - as no adjustmentsare have made to the settings of the camera video or audio. On other websites, during the implementation for video chat, the pc stops when "enable audio" is selected. Also, when turn on the cam directly from the desktop icon and try to configure the space required for video captures the pc shuts off or the programwill camera become UN-responcive and jam. I tried programs assistant camera, device and windows as well as the control panel and help centers copatability, but don't know enough to mess with the configuration of services/programs/settings on the pc to fix the problem

I can go on the internet with firefox, but firefox does not open my comcast email.
I have a Mac. I can get on my e-mail with Safari but not Firefox. Firefox is my favorite. My Firefox is updated to 30.0. I can access internet, but when click on my email address it will never connect. I don't get an error message, it will never connect. I stopped and restarted. I entered in 'Préférences' and deleted my cookies and cleared the cache. I have not been able to access my email on Firefox since last week.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
- In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

Sorry for the long title. I thought that I was actually asking. Why can't I update my LR LR CC 5.4? I have an iMac 27-inch running the Mavericks. I have a lot of space on my hard drive and have 16 GB of RAM.
Long titles seem to happen a lot since the last forum updated software isn't just you!
There is no CC Lightroom. You get the latest version (currently 5.4) with creative cloud, and the CC app so right to say that your LR is up-to-date. Unlike most other Cloud creative applications and Photoshop, Lightroom is not labelled as 'CC' because it is also available separately as a product standalone perpetual license. When 5.5 (or 6.0 - or even a CC version only) is available in the future, the CC app should invite you to update, and then in the meantime, you good to go.

Errors are only warnings, but it may affect the results of the site search. Google is really hot to have a mobile, mobile version is part of the views of the site. From a user experience perspective, small text can be difficult to read, especially for this site, where your customers customers can come from the older generation. Having links so close together can cause visitors going to the wrong page.
If you do not want to engage in the sensitive track, you should look into making the Adaptive site (different versions for Tablet and mobile). I think you will be OK with the current site on a shelf, but you should go mobile. In the Site map, click on Page > add an Alternative layout > phone. Because it is only 3 pages, it shouldn't take much to build the new version.

I have XP Epson-610 and have scanned on it successfully for years. To date, but when tried to open I get the ap scanner, the scanner is attributed to ImageCapture. Using the scanner with TWAIN? ImageCapture does not work on El Capitan? What is TWAIN, a printer-scanner driver?

TWAIN is an old scanner interface. OS X now use ICA, Architecture (?) of Capture of Image.
Never seen this message, but I guess that means Capture of Image is using the scanner, or is configured to use the scanner and it is not necessary for the third party software. You open picture Capture, or did the scanning software provided with the scanner by Epson?

Thanks Anubha Goel, final I got it to work... The serial number in the physical box that you buy in the store wasn't the number for the software. It was the serial number in the cloud, very difficult to know when you see a serial number in the box with the Cd online. But thanks for the reply to my post.
