Impossible WAP54G access default IP address

Hi people:

My sister uses an old Linksys Wireless Access Point (wireless router), a double-antennas workaholic called WAP54G. It is a very basic, solid unit, worked fine for a long time, with one exception, that I just find out.

While using his cell phone the other day in his place, I noticed that its network is an unsecured network by default. I decided to fix it, by creating a network and password name.

I have reset the WAP, once again, then connected directly with a standard Ethernet cable. Then I used a command prompt and "ipconfig/all" (Windows XP) to find the default IP address, which was '169.254.202.48 '. It was unusual, because most of the default addresses are "192.168.1.245" or I also saw '192.168.1.251.

In any case, although that directly connected, WAP has failed not only to its default address, but none of them. I can't do it. The unit works great, browser and e-mail are in agreement.

Any suggestions as to why I can't?

Thank you very much

Wayne

1. I didn't tell you to put the default gateway to 192.168.1.245. Makes no sense. The WAP is not a router.

2. the default password for the WAP54G (devices and all the most Linksys) is "admin". Usually you do not enter any user. Leave the field empty user and enter "admin" in the password field.

  • Impossible to access remotely to Zoneminder on port 80

I have a Cisco Linksys E2500 modem and I can't access Zoneminder which is basically a Linux video security DVR software package.  It runs on a Ubuntu Linux server.

I have HTTP port 80 forwarded to the address static IP of the server Ubuntu but I repeatedly get an error indicating that the connection has expired whenever I try to access Zoneminder remotely as in access it remotely from a coffee shop.

I have absolutely no problem to access the Zoneminder when I on my home LAN.

I can access other software from remote sites on the parameters of the port 4369 with a favorite TCP protocol.  In other words, 4369 port is forwarded to an another Windows workstation with a static IP address assigned. Absolutely no problem with 4369 port forwarding.

Also, I tried port 80 on the site, YouGetSignal, which is used to test port forwarding.  The Web site indicates that port 80 is closed.  But when I test port 4369, the site indicates that the port is open.  Zoneminder that uses port 80 is fully operational when I test port 80 via YouGetsignal.

My ISP told me that they do not block the ports including port 80.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Try the following steps:

[A] with the help of the Cisco Connect software (if at all, you have installed the router using this software)

1] open the software and go to the option that says "settings of the router.

[2] then click on the option that says 'Advanced settings', which will take you to the router configuration page.

[3] then click on disable SPI Firewall Protection Security tab, uncheck the box filter anonymous Internet requests...

[B] If you have not installed Cisco connect then you can connect to the router's user interface using its default IP address in the browser which is 192.168.1.1 and enter "admin" as password empty username field. This will take to the web interface of the router and then follow the steps as indicated above to make the changes.

  • Error "Library not registered" and "access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000 "while trying to play Call of Duty 2 on Windows 7 64 bit

Original title: Call of Duty 2 on windows 7: first window said: library not registered. After a minute, seven or more pop-up windows to say the same thing: access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000

I tried to play Call Of Duty 2 on windows 7 64 premium.  After installation, if I choose to click on the shortcut on the desktop, it keeps invites me to insert the correct CD in the drive.  That right is already in the drive.  If I have the game from the CD autorun, it invites library not registered.  Then opens upward of seven windows or more with the same message: access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000.  the map system, game and video have all been updated and installed the latest patch for Call of Duty 2.  The funky thing is, if I use the fix offered for Vista I can get the multiplayer game to work, but the single player mode is still inaccessible.  I tried changing the compatibility, tried to use the option of windows XP mode and tried to open it in a new window and ran it under administrator.  nothing has worked, suggestions?

I have thought about it myself, do what I tried above and activate the function of compatibility with Windows Vista service pack 2.  If you do not know the fix vista, click Start, Control Panel, hardware and sound, click sound, and then click the recording TAB.  Right click on a space in the tab itself, when see her disable devices is displayed click on to show them.  stereo mix is show in the tab, right click on that and turn on.  Only, remember, insert the CD, do not autorun installation just right click on the icon setup on the CD itself and open a new window.  run as administrator and install.  After that, go ahead and install the latest version of Patch 1.3 for Call of Duty 2.  When all is said and done don't forget to change the compatibility mode to Windows Vista service Pack 2. Note to Microsoft: Windows XP mode is a great idea, except that you dropped the ball twice, #1 - should have a version of it to support windows 7 Edition home premium for topics such as this for the public #2 - you must enable a way to get the video settings within the windows XP mode , in short to make a windows operating system that will play a game out there that has already been done to PC.

After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

  • Default IP address does not work after resetting to factory default.

    Hello

I have a problem with a HP LaserJet P2015 default IP address. If I unplug the LAN cable default IP is set.

As soon as I plug back into the address does not work and if I print the summary page, now, there are whritten:

IP address: Configuration (it does not stop to set up after waiting 1 hour it's still set up).

    and:

    Auto-IP: enabled

I think that the Auto-IP (DHCP, probably) is the problem... but how do I turn it off?

    Hello

I hope that somone can help me in this case.

    We have ML6000 library running.

Since today I can't like connect on ML6000 Web Client.

I checked the library doors. Library doors are closed.

How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks for all proposals.

There are a number of things that could cause something like this happens. The first thing that I would recommend would be to restart the ML6000 library and get tickets RAS on the ML.

Do you need a thread pool and QRunnable? You can also use QThread-> http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/QThread.html

You initialize QObject in constructor? It's not like so, cause your Builder does not need a QObject as a parent. Then maybe parent is set to NULL.
