  Hi everyone, I can't scan on my printer connected to the USB router but I can print without problem. Everytime I open the printer ' sotware (HP Deskjet 2510 series), I will be directed to install the printer driver and software (which is already installed). I tried to use printing HP and doctor Scan but it did not help. It just says I need to install the drivers and software for what more is already installed.

• HP Deskjet 2510. Cannot print from PC.

  I have some - PDF995 - software on my PC that converts documents to PDF format.  It seems to interfere with the printing of documents for the screen, with my HP Deskjet 2510.  Whenever I try to print a document, after hitting the "print" key, the PDF995 software opens each time.  I have the HP printer as my default printer selected, and I also select him as the printer you want before you hit 'print '.  But the software PDF 995 maintains just opening.   Any ideas would be appreciated gratefully.   Thank you.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are using a free pdf converter software and it interferes with your HP Deskjet 2510 printer. When you try and print a document, even if your DJ 2510 is set as your default PDF995 software opens instead.

  After some research on the PDF995, I managed to download on my computer running Windows 7, download a file readme.html gave me. I noticed that it states the following:

  "Print a document from any application by choosing the PDF995 printer in the printer dialog box. Do NOT select "print to a file." You will be asked to enter the name of the PDF file you want to create. "

  It tell me that it will automatically set the PDF995 printer driver to the printer by default, after you have downloaded and installed, I go to my devices and printers the PDF995 has been set as the default printer. When I changed the default value for my HP printer you want, my pdf software arises as well. I made sure to hit them apply and save the changes. When I went to print it printed on the HP printer - I don't have the pop up.

  I know that you have already configured your printer by default for DJ 2510, but please try the following steps, listed here:

  1. go to your devices and printers

  2. right click on your DJ 2510, and then select set as default printer

  3 now, please do a restart of your computer

  4. Once your computer is back, please make sure the DJ 2510 is always defined as a default

  5. now move forward a document place desired that you want to print

  6. go in the file options and scrolling to print

  7. your printer dialog box opens, your DJ 2510 must always be on the defaultprinter

  8. click on print and the test document

• DeskJet 2510: HP deskjet color printing stopped

  The photocopy of my 2510 Desklet will be another document or picture in color, no problem. It also copies PDF files in color.  But if I try to print a copy to say - a 'Photos' JPEG file, it prints only in black and white.   I opened the file in the Windows or Windows Live Photo Gallery Photo Viewer, set the printer > paper size > quality > paper > size of the Image, but it still prints in black and white.

  I tried the Options > printer properties > advanced, then what about "Print in grayscale" 'Off' goal again, it prints in black and white.   I go back to "Print in grayscale" to see that it is to show once again 'On '.

  This has only recently begun to happen.  It seems I did inadvertently something to trigger it, but I can't understand it.    Any help would be appreciated.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP @wilen43, thank you for join the support community! I'd love to help you with your Deskjet 2510. I understand that you are able to copy in color, but you cannot print in color. Since you've already tried to change the print settings, it might be better to remove the driver and add it again.

  I suggest to use the following steps to remove the printer from the device and printers and the driver from the properties of the server.

  1. in the folder "devices and printers".

  2. choose "print server properties.

  • Win XP - with no printer selected, click 'File' then 'server properties '.
  • Windows Vista - with no printer selected, press 'Alt' and then click 'file' then 'server properties '.
  • Windows 7/8, 8.1 and 10 - select any printer in the "Devices and printers" folder and click on "Print server properties" above.

  3. click on the "Drivers" tab at the top of the window "properties of the print server.

  4. choose the printer that you want to uninstall, and then click 'remove '.

  5. choose "Remove driver only.

  6. the next screen will give a warning, letting you know that the removal of the driver package will remove it from the system. Click 'Yes' to say are you sure you want to do.

  If documents are stuck in the spooler to print, you see an error, cancel all documents waiting in the print queue or try restart the spooler to print, and then try to delete the driver from 'Print server properties' again. If she will not always remove the sachet, restart the computer and the printer should correct this error "in use" and allow the driver to be removed.

  • If him you continue to get an "in use" message followed the steps in the document here. The specified printer driver is currently in use

  I tried to print a test page, but the title 'Page of Windows printer Test' is printed.  The rest of the page is blank.

  When I try to print photos, printing are with bright saturated colours (for example orange print bright orange, pink print bright red).

  other info:

  1. I used a cartridge not HP for some time without problem.  Then the problem arises, so I replaced it with a new HP cartridge immediately.

  2. I used the copy on the printer function, and there is no problem with the colors.

• DeskJet 2510: Conflict of printer HP DeskJet 2510 in Windows 7 64 bit driver

  I just changed my PC of Windows XP Home Edition on a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit. I installed the printer DeskJet 2510 from CD/online and it was fine apart from a lot of errors in the event viewer: -.

  "The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\UNIDRVUI. DLL, error 0xc1 code. See the user context information for event data.

  Go to the web search, it appeared that maybe the solution is to reinstall the driver that I've done, uninstall and then reinstall completely the basic feature software. Since the relocation (several times now!) the doctor of printing & scanning HP reported a conflict printer driver and suggesting that uninstalling and reinstalling are necessary! As I introduced him through this loop several times I wonder if there is a bug somewhere.

  The Print Test page is fine and everything seems to work properly except continuing to error messages like above, up to 4 at the same time, mainly when printing envelopes from MS Word.

  I just tried this so I'll get back to you when I reinstalled again!

  Hi, I have a DeskJet year 2510 am trying to reinstall the HP software following an error message when I tried to launch the HP solutions Center - I get a message that "HP solutions Center can not run because your installation of the device is not complete." I tried to uninstall the existing s/w, then download the latest version of the HP software and install it but get the same message. I've tried it before and after the restart (I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NS11J Windows 7-64 bit), with my anti-virus on and outside and still the same message. HP Print & Scan doctor said that scanning is fine but there is a driver conflict and I have to uninstall and reinstall the latest driver, I did several times. HP Installation Wizard tells me everything is OK but Solution Center is categorically that it is not.

  I've looked through this forum and changed my 'services' according to one post, but I am now at my wits end with. Can someone please?
